The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation."

Miinukset: "Turkish airlines in Istanbul this last trip was the most disorganized and rudest I've yet to experience. They were incredibly disorganized and unhelpful. It was 5am with hoards of people waiting just to go through a tiny security because they closed the entrance for international transfers. No lines and direction whatsoever. It took two hours just to go through simple sercurity. My flight gate, number, and info to Boston was not even posted on the departure screen so I almost missed my flight- I had to go multiple times across the airport to find anyone to ask. The employees were rude and unhelpful. They did not assist or direct anyone or any of the chaos and they were slow and lacked any understanding to people whose flight was ten minutes till take off. Really unimpressed and highly considering avoiding taking them again to the Middle East in the future."

Miinukset: "Seats some of the smallest. Staff inattentive. Pressed the attendant button 4 times. Every time ignored. Food provided was not what was on the menu provided. Boarding was a disaster. Over an hour in a terminal with lacking a/c. I want to say it was worth the price, but no. Was the worse flight I have ever been on."
Plussat: "I liked the idea of offering a tour of Istanbul during long connections that Turkish airlines offer. The tour that I went on was a 2.5 hour bus ride with sightseeing from the window mostly - still it was very nice. The people organizing passengers in groups for the tour in the airport however were not so nice. When I said "I have a question", the guy literally ROLLED HIS EYES at me."
Miinukset: "The crew was somewhat rude and unwelcoming, both in the plane and on the ground. The seat is not comfortable in comparison with other transatlantic flights - somehow the crew and the seats were so much better on my connecting TK flight within Europe."

Miinukset: "There was a "skip" or interruption in the movies. I could follow them, but the system needs to be adjusted a bit. Overall very good. Oddly, the foot rest, in the upright position, bumped into my shins and made stretching my legs a bit uncomfortable. And I'm average height (5' 10")."

The lady also told us that she didn't need the passport or her boarding pass ??? Because of that my grandmother almost got lost , we had to wait for her for an eternity. She got very scared and very upset for what you guys did . She is an old lady and it was one of her worst experiences of her life"

Miinukset: "I was told in Vienna that I would be allowed to carry my Kindle onto my flight from Istanbul to the USA. I was not able to and had to wait in a very long line both in Istanbul and in the US. I understand the change in regulations, but it is important that all employees of Turkish airlines are aware of the change. We also waited one hour on the runway in Istanbul. Additionally, there was a small section of the plane which received food roughly an hour later than the rest of the plane. I was on this section, and was uncomfortably hungry by the time I received food."

Check-in bag drop was extremely slow, another couple of desks were needed to keep the process moving more quickly. We were there more than 2 hours early and were standing in line nearly all of that time."

Miinukset: "Having been impressed on recent overseas flight using Turkish Airlines, I thought the standards they had previously practiced would have been implemented. Unfortunately, there were several customer service disappointments, from forgetting to include dessert with my and my daughter's meals to being made to wait nearly an hour for the interactive screen to be reset. And not a sincere apology or effort to resolve the problem."

Sit down to stares. Without doing anything So begins the ogling Not for beauty or glasses But because of his right to look in any direction he pleases. The drink cart comes by Soft drinks only Stuttered English behind Only a sweet belch of coca cola Released, bubbling an unfettered expression shared across all languages. (but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city."
Miinukset: "Staff was a bit rude"
Plussat: "The entertainment choices were quite good. Flights arrived more or less on time."
Miinukset: "Our departure flight (BOS-IST) was changed 6 weeks after our booking, so our 2.5-hour layover became 10 hours. This happened before in my past experience with Turkish Airlines. There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight."
Plussat: "I am not a picky person to me every thing was great taking into consideration that you cant satisfy every one."
Miinukset: "Not every one can follow the speed of the way you announce things, remember your flight take people from different continents in the world Also not having some where to sit while waiting for the information of which gate to go it is very challenging. The AC was almost killing the older people not me but the older lady sat next to me complained all the time but it didn't work. I know it is the challenge difficult to solve however you can give them some advise. Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one."

Miinukset: "They lost half the bags on the plane, including mine, so there was a huge line to make lost baggage claims. Turkish Airlines pretty much runs ataturk airport ist. So they should make sure the Wifi there works. Which it never seems to."
Miinukset: "I understand that an airline can’t control the weather, but they can be prepared for it. We arrived hours late and found chaos. Conflicting information from staff. Lines lasting HOURS, verging on mob behavior, some passengers shouting and crying. One very good agent got us into civilized lines, but it was still awful. Later that night, we found our second flight HAD taken off, despite every single airline and airport staffer insisting that all flights were cancelled. We could have been home for New Year’s Eve instead of stuck in an airport. The next day, we still got mixed signals about how to check in. Then we found we had been given seats rows apart, despite being one booking. To be honest, we haven’t even taken this flight yet. Our rebooked flight on the following day is hours late and we’re waiting for it now. But I already know enough to post that I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

Miinukset: "We went on a trip to Berlin via Istanbul, everything was awesome except that the plane between Berlin and Istanbul on the way back was not equipped with TV entertainment."

Denied boarding at the document check line. In line with all the other passengers but were the only ones denies boarding. We’re told the gate had closed.

No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

Miinukset: "The amount of entertainment available was not unappreciated, I enjoyed many of the documentaries although I wish there had been even more nature documentaries, as those are my favorite :) I did hope for a more updated selection of Hollywood movies."
Miinukset: "We were in the middle at the very back of the plane. It was quite bouncy for some time during the flight. The stewardess informed us that that was typical for seats at the back of the plane. It is not easy to choose your seats when you buy the ticket online, but I would prefer a calmer location. Also I was squeezed when the person in front of me leaned back in her seat. Service was excellent, however."
Plussat: "For a direct flight between the N.E. and Frankfurt, it is one of the best."
Miinukset: "As with all flights, I wish there was more room. It is tough for a 6 ft 2 inch person. I can't imagine being taller or heavier than I am and what it must be like."

The aircraft was a brand new Airbus and next to me there was a rip on the wall cover. I could see what is underneath...i had a slight fear that it could get bigger..I understand that the fuselage expands in the air."

Plussat: "I ordered gluten free meals on both of my longer flights and the crew seemed to have difficulty distributing them to the appropriate seats. My flight from Boston-Munich was fine but on my return trip from Frankfurt-Boston, I didn't receive a gluten free meal and the passenger behind me was given my gluten free snack."

Miinukset: "Economy area flight Frankfurt - Boston 26th October. Tall, well dressed, middle aged Italian gentleman beside me on aisle seat talking on his phone from boarding until we started to accelerate for takeoff. I had to ask him to shut his phone off twice. Staff not looking out for phone use. Then he was receiving text as we landed in Boston and never even bothered to put on his seat belt. Again staff did not notice. I travel a lot and normally air crew notice these things. Booked to carry skis via the Lufthansa US call center and was told there was a special offer and they were free for US bound flights. This was great news as I had assumed I had to pay. On bag check-in the associate told me they had booked them as golf clubs not skis. She also did not agree skis were free and spent 15 minutes reading the details of the contract and talking with an associate. She was polite but firm about it and I had to pay Euro100 to get them checked in."

Plussat: "The food was terrible. Your seat space is exceptionally small. I am small but others of greater stature cannot really fit and then they encroach into my space. Makes for an uncomfortably long journey. Your attendants were most attentive."

Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."
Miinukset: "Long lines at security check before the gate. Our luggage was lost"
Miinukset: "Flight attendants served too many drinks (hard liquor) to the passenger sitting in front of me, and continued serving him even after he was visibly drunk. When preparing for landing, one attendant gave an annoyed answer when I asked him to remind the same passenger to set his seatback in vertical position."
Plussat: "Crew was great and seat comfortable except my entertainment system wasn’t working. But the crew member offered me a different seat."
Miinukset: "My biggest issue was that my seat didn't recline. 30C. It was quite unpleasant for a 5 hour flight with a large man pushing his seat farther back than it goes, in front of me. The other issue was that one gentleman flight attendant had terrible body odor. He mostly smelled like he'd been sweating, but his uniform was in desparate need of laundering ... particularly the pants. I started to mention to it with the friend that I was traveling with, and she knew what I was going to describe before I said it, despite us not talking during the flight (seats were split apart). I'd also mention - although there may not be anything that can be done - but boarding was a nightmare. A large Chicago flight had a boarding line crossing in front of our gate as we were called to get in line (no zones or row numbers). It was quite slow to be standing for 50 minutes and the entire plane settling into all rows at once."

Miinukset: "In-flight entertainment system was broken on my seat. Flight crew tried to help but it wasn’t able to be repaired."

Miinukset: "No food and alcoholic beverages on an international flight - very disappointing. Also the entertainment system didn’t work."
Miinukset: "My seat was changed less than an hour before the flight so that I was no longer sitting with my wife. The person at the service desk explained that they substituted a smaller plane because the flight was not full. She said it was better than the flight being cancelled."

Miinukset: "Many of the electronics on the plane did not work. Could not summon flight crew, not turn on light. Seatbelt signs did not work. Plane was horrendously outdated. Former Kenyan Airlines livery. Unless I’m going to Iceland, I am going to avoid Icelandair from this point forward."
Miinukset: "I was very surprised, that I had to pay for my luggage. Didn’t have to do that flying from Boston to Munich, but on my way back."

Miinukset: "Plane was at full capacity and at least an hour prior to landing flushing of toilets was no longer possible due to tanks being full. It was a 3 hour flight! Not acceptable!"
Plussat: "You’re going for no frills. Competitive pricing maybe but consider baggage situation first. We went transatlantic and paid for a bag using economy light fare to make it work. Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal. Cabin is ok."
Miinukset: "Witnessed many customers checking in who thought a bag was included. Entertainment is ok but screens have limited kid activities. Each leg of my flight took off 15-20 min late easily. Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain."

Plussat: "Believe aircraft was about 2 hours out of Iceland when my 87 yo mother had and emergency being unconscious. The crew jump into action unbelievable and assisted with remarkable training. Thank GOD there was a MD on board from Germany also a paramedic. Crew,MD,Paramedic took over the situation and mother was recovered THANK GOD for the training your attendants are given or surely it would have been a death on board 3 hours until landing in Boston. I was surely a MIRACLE for me and my family. No words can express our the skills of those on board. I only suggestion is that more IV solution should be on board - the bottle was small - but certainly aided in her recovery. THANK YOU THANK YOU ICELAND AIR"

Miinukset: "The boarding process at KEF for flight back to BOS was a mess. Only one attendant checking people in. The gate was so crowded it was ridiculous. The one attendant did not have any PA system so you couldn't hear any of her announcements. It was a long, hot, crowded wait to get onto the bus that brought us over to the plane. Not the best way to end our trip to Iceland."

I was really surprised but the Icelandair personnel at the airport were extremely unfriendly. They seemed irritated when asked a question and did not smile."

Miinukset: "Rejkjavik aiport is woefully undersized and understaffed to handle the volume of passengers connecting through to other destinations. Jam-packed waiting areas and walking aisles and long queues in restrooms and refreshment areas. A lovely building, but not a pleasant experience at all."

Miinukset: "Boarding took forever, long lines, flight was an hour late. Not sure if this is due more to IcelandAir or the airport. Although it was a 6 hour long trip food was only available for purchase..and it was very expensive. Limited selection of entertainment (and seldom subtitles or translations in other languages) as well."
Plussat: "Love the leg room... nothing exceptional, but more than the other discount airlines. Free layover in Iceland. Kind and helpful staff. Includes one checked bag and in flight movies (not latest releases, but enough to get you there.)"
Miinukset: "Limited free drink choices, but you do get tea, coffee, and some soft drinks. Check the in-flight magazine to make sure you don't plan on a Coke and end up with 7Up. Boarding at KEF is a free for all, Iceland style. If the Scandinavians start lining up, get in line. Not that it matters much since seats are assigned and there is adequate carryon space due to free checked bag."
Plussat: "It was a good flight overall. No major problems. Boarding in Keflavik was a bit chaotic, but that's just Keflavik - an airport too small for the volume of passengers. Iceland air is a good mid-level airline."
Miinukset: "I have problems with food not being served on international flights. That just bothers me."
Miinukset: "Our seats were reassigned at the last minute (upon boarding) to seats that couldn't recline at all. The people in front of us could recline their seats fully, giving us no room whatsoever to move. We had no room to even rest our heads on the table or cross our legs. It was very uncomfortable. Had I known the seating was so uncomfortable, I would not have flown this airline. These were not the seats we selected earlier, so we were taken by surprise at being given such terrible seats and offered no options. I will not fly this airline again."

Miinukset: "too many flights landed at KEF at one time. the iceland customs could not handle all the flights at one time. it seems like the idea/plan to make iceland a primary stopover location was done without determining how many flights could descend on the terminal at one time. i was in a line that was almost all the way down the terminal. we truly were processed quickly - but it gave many around us a lot of stress over thinking they would miss their connecting flights. since i had done this before and the exact same thing happened (too many to process in too short a period of time) i reassured the people around us that icelandair holds the connecting flights until all people were processed. it gives a bad look to iceland and icelandair and i am sure could be remedied by changing some arrival/departure times. again, the idea of having iceland be a primary stopover to put them 'on the map' and glean the revenue from the potential travel is excellent, great marketing strategy - but is iceland air shooting them in the foot if they have implemented this plan without the infrastructure - please pass along to iceland- a country i really loved when i visited before this marketing plan!"

Miinukset: "The boarding makes no sense. If you let people board from 2 ends of your plane, you should at least tell rows 1-20 to go to that door and 21- 35 go to the other. Since that's not done, mayhem ensues. The whole no free food thing is ridiculous but I will either fly a different airline (Lufthansa) or bring my own food. Also the entertainment is what you see on TV in the USA, there are no new movies AND the content is the same east and West bound."

Plussat: "The connecting flight was with air Canada. In general the flight was fine. Landed on a Saturday afternoon."
Miinukset: "What was not fine was the horror at the other end when air Canada lost my bag (which had my suit and prescriptions) and couldn't tell me where it was or when it would be delivered for over two days of calling between their service centre and one the ground people at Boston. The call centre was in India, no one in Boston would tell them what was going on. It should not take three days to sort, when the bag had actually been sent on the next flight (on Saturday evening) after the one I took. Fortunately, was able to borrow BP medication from a relative and ultimately had to spend money to buy new suit and clothes before bag finally appeared because I had business meetings for which I needed appropriate attire. Every other airline I gave flown where my bag was delayed was always delivered in 24 hours. This was not Brussels airlines fault, it was the fault of air Canada."
Plussat: "The flight from Toronto to Boston is extremely short, about an hour. I don’t feel as though I can rate the food since I didn’t buy any, it just doesn’t give me an option to not rate it. It was a completely full flight. It was as comfortable as can be. It’s a smaller plane so you feel everything but the captains were good flyers."
Miinukset: "I’m not sure if this is something I can really complain about but I wish the flight attendants would’ve spoken a bit lower. For a plane where half of the people there had missed their connecting flight and were put on a 6:30 am flight, I don’t think we wanted to hear about their detailed personal lives."

Miinukset: "Being stuck in Boston and Ottawa for 2 extra days and adding around $1200 on to our trip in hotels alone (I was travelling with 4 kids on a school trip and my wife). Additionally, we didn’t find out the flights were cancelled until we arrived at the airport. Apparently, they had been cancelled 2 hours before but there was no notification. Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way."

My return flight was cancelled amd i was automatically put on a different flight, and instead of waiting more than 2 hours from boston to get to canada, i was put on an earlier flight for which i am thankful for. However we couldnt take off as delta was clogging up the way to the runaway so ended up waitimg an hour to taje off which was ridiculous. Hope delta hires more ground crew so that others arent inconvenienced in the future."

Plussat: "I flew through Vancouver from Boston on my way to Brisbane, Australia and back. I was nervous at first because of the 2 hour connection windows. This might be a testament to Vancouver Airport more than Air Canada, but the flight home after an initial 14 hour flight was pain free. Boarding was fast (the flight wasn't full) and we ended up pulling away from the terminal early. I slept most of the flight so I can't really comment on food. The entertainment was the same as when i left for Australia, which was ok. It had a decent variety to select from."

Plussat: "Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but they can only do what is within corporate rules to help you. Their corporate policies are NOT GOOD!"
Miinukset: "Flying Air Canada is horrible! They nickel & dime you to the point of tears. They charged me $15 per leg to make advanced seat assignments ($60 total) then changed my flights and put me in middle seats on two legs without asking me - I didn't find out until I was ready to board and they called my name to come to the gate desk! They also charge $33+ US to check one bag. If you go over the 50 lb weight limit they charge $100. By the time you add it all up, I could have flown on Delta through the US for less. Trying to get my seat selection fees reimbursed was very difficult; At the airport, they told me to go online and ask for a refund; Online, I couldn't find the way to get to the refund link; Called Customer service again, who gave me an 800# to call for a refund; the person on the 800 # told me I had to request it online but walked me through it to find the refund link; I filled in the online request and was told by automatic reply that Air Canada would investigate it and get back to me within 3-4 weeks. Ugh! No more Air Canada for me!"

Gave excuse that bag must go with me. Customs confirmed that this is AC not customs. To add insult, they flight to Montreal was late, the flight to Boston was late, and finally my bag NEVER was on either flight so there excuse was an out right lie. I missed half the weekend home in over a month. AC doesn't value my time and I don't value their service. Every time I go back to this airline I realized why I left. Going to Asia; don't get suckered into using this route. BTW a friend on PVG-YUL-BOS never made it as well. AC still using a CRJ200 that can't land in weather. NOT A BUSINESS CLASS EXPERIENCE."

Miinukset: "There was a major winter storm on the way, and the flight should have been canceled like every other flight to Boston was. Long story short, we couldn't land in Boston due to the storm. So we flew not to Boston, but to Quebec City. They would not let us off the airplane. Eventually we flew back to Montreal where we started. More than 7 hours on a plane with no food, and they only offered us water. The flight should have been cancelled in the first place. That would have been a lot less stressful to deal with."
Plussat: "It was excellent. Though due to snowfall, flight took off late due to de-icing but taking safety precautions is a best practice."
Plussat: "This was my first time in Canada never been there before I had a great time until that one moment I had to deal with workers from air Canada except one agent at the ticketing desk....I had checked in online the day before however I had some card issues because they got shut down by my bank and due to the holiday in America I was unable to call my Bank prior to the airport....got to the airport and tried to explain that all I wanted to do was pay for my bag with cash ...but no one took the time out to listen each time i tried explaining myself I was send to a different location to join another line ....by the time I got to someone who was willing to listen my flight was closed ..her name was Aurora and gave me nothing but attitude when I explained my story......anyways finally got to ticketing and a met the only agent that day who exercise some level of customer service that day...if only I could remember her name ...sigh she went the extra mile because at this point I was frustrated and unsure if I would make it out of the country a sane person due to the amount of chaos I experienced prior. She got LISTENED .....SHE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN...got me on a new flight and went above an beyond to assist me that morning I was on the verge of a breakdown at that point all other staff member was very disgusting not only to my self but the other individuals who had mishaps that morning."

Miinukset: "Our Swiss crew told us over the loudspeaker several times that "even if connecting we still need to get our luggage" which turned out to be false as our luggage was transferred to the Boston bound plane automatically... We were ushered out as a group to a connection security check which required electronic kiosks to be used for scanning our passports photos and fingerprints... They fraught with malfunctions then after waiting in line for s while we did the whole check all over again with s human security agent in s booth... There were only 2 security agents in the booths as well but there really needed to be several more to keep the line moving quicker... After security we walk directly out to departures but no mention of baggage claim, which was fine had we not been misinformed by Swiss initially... We ended up inquiring several times with SirCsnsda staff until it was clear Swiss had misinformed us."

Plussat: "The flight itself was fine, free WiFi on board, movies to watch, stewards and stewardesses on board were very kind and attentive."
Miinukset: "I was originally flying WestJet, and the 7:05 AM flight I booked was cancelled. I hopped online and booked the 8:10 AM flight via Air Canada back to Boston. First, the flight was oversold, so only AFTER I was able to check my bag did I learn that I was flying stand-by. Completely nerve wracking. If I had known in advance I would have booked with another airline. I was able to get on the flight thanks to some volunteers who gave up their seats on the 8:10 AM flight for the next flight out (10:10 AM) in return for some monetary compensation. I arrived in Boston, and after waiting for 45 minutes, I learned my bag was put on the 10:10 AM flight rather than the 10:10 AM flight, but only after dealing with a snappy and disrespectful check-in attendant that seemed to not believe me that my bags indeed did not arrive. The office for baggage services for Air Canada was vacant and locked next to the carousel. Myself and a couple of other travelers, upon getting to the check-in counter and explaining the situation mistakenly lumped us all together and said "okay so you're all traveling together and your bags need to go the same place". Me: "No, that's incorrect, we are not related or traveling together, we just all have the same issue--none of our bags have arrived". Other Air Canada representative, who up to this point had not been involved in the exchange: "She didn't ask you if you were related, she asked you if your bags were lost" and then proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away from the counter. I suppose she misinterpreted my concern for rudeness and felt the need to put me in my place. Granted, my early morning flight cancellation and the stress associated with flying standby had nothing to do with them, but the attitude I was given as a concerned traveler whose bag was potentially lost was completely unwarranted. Compounded with the frustration of the entire morning I cannot describe how infuriating this exchange added up to being. I was told my bag would be delivered to my home by 4 PM that day. No bag. Got a phone call at 7 PM - they'd be there in the next hour. 10:00 PM and going to bed: No bag. I gave up and prepared to make a claim in the morning. 8:30 AM Sunday morning - my bag is sitting on my front porch wrapped in a trash bag. What a fiasco."

Miinukset: "-Significant delay prevented me from checking in to my room, which was highly inconvenient. Fortunately I had a friend who was willing to have me, but if not (and because the nearby hotels are filled up due to the beginning of freshman orientation at my college), I would have had nowhere to stay after 13+ hours of flying and exhaustion. This alone significantly hurt the experience."
Plussat: "Everything excep boarding on return flight."
Miinukset: "Delay on return & boarding was really slow! Not sure if it was the computers or attendants."
Miinukset: "Our inbound flight was two hours late. When connecting through Toronto, they lied to us. They said that the outbound connection was on time, that we'd likely missed it. Then, after standing through their requisite customer service line with only one open desk for two full flights, we were told to sprint through customs. We arrived, breathless to find the connection was delayed. We were told that they don't post the delayed connections for fear that passengers won't run or that U.S. customs will close. Uncommunicative and untruthful, their service is atrocious."
Plussat: "Flight crew was friendly. They were dealing with a lot of crabby people due to a 4 hour weather delay. They handled it, some better than others."
Miinukset: "I checked my bag. It got soaked. I am talking drenched like dumped in a lake and left there for the 4 hours we were delayed in Toronto. When we contacted air canada the luggage complaint rep told us to complete an online claim. We haven't heard a peep out of Air Canada in a week. Unacceptable Air Canada. You must would at least acknowledge that something was done wrong by a baggage crew even if they aren't on your payroll and on an airports."

Miinukset: "After waiting 30 minutes after our boarding time, I got an email on my phone saying the gate had changed. No one at the current gate knew anything about it and I went to ask but no one could be found. I asked a man sitting behind the gate, who happened to be the pilot, and he also knew nothing about it. Needless to say, the gate changed and absolutely nobody was told about it. 2 hours later, our flight finally took off, and I was thanked by the pilot for getting us to the right gate... At least he provided a little humor to the situation! Plane also wasn't cleaned, pretzels and trash all over the floor."
Plussat: "This was the smoothest flight I've ever had. Great pilot."

Miinukset: "As my mom explained to me, there was a time in the 1960's when flying was a special experience. The flight attendants were proud to do what they did, and treated people with kindness and civility. That is all gone now. It is an ice cold experience. I feel like cattle."

Miinukset: "After we board the plane, we were forced to sit on the tarmac at LAX for 2 hours. I missed the Ferry to Provincetown and it cost me an extra night of hotel in Boston. The food choices were very limited, and the seats are just not comfortable at all!"
Plussat: "It was quick and on time."

Plussat: "Nice service, let us use the bathroom in business class, gave me a free glass of wine."
Miinukset: "Late departure by 1.5 hours sucks!"
Plussat: "Friendly and helpful crew, seats were newer and a bit more comfortable than my other United flight."
Miinukset: "Everything else, delays on top of understandable weather delays, slow boarding, poor snack and drink options,"

Miinukset: "UA lost 4/4 ski bags through our connecting flight in chicago - which resulted in us having to stay at baggage claim until 1:30am EST. We needed our ski's to ski the day we landed - and had major headaches due to this issue."
Plussat: "The plane was nice and in good shape. They had beverage service for a very quick flight which is nice. Can't rate food or entertainment because only hour or so flight."
Miinukset: "It was freezing in the plane and I'm never cold. When I asked for a blanket they had none!!! They had just announced whatever they can do to make your flight more comfortable ask them. Not true, just words. Disappointed after the great treatment after flying ANA."
Plussat: "Excellent crew and snacks, we were on time, actually arrived early in Boston."
Miinukset: "The strong exhaust fumes while in the gate was really uncomfortable. It finally cleared once under way but 10 minutes of breathing it was not pleasant."

Miinukset: "OK, United, I understand and fully support "no more seat monitor" policy to reduce costs (even though it seems very backward); however, there's one problem--if you still want to enjoy onboard entertainments, you need to download the United application above 10,000 feet where you can never find your 4G connection. Oh wait, but there's still Wi-Fi service, right? Sure, if you are willing to pay $17 just to download application!! United, I understand how you want to make little money out of a customer's pocket, but this is not how you should do it. You should at least allow internet connection before departure or let the customer aware they need to download application beforehand."
Plussat: "Comfortable seats"
Miinukset: "Boarding took a long time in the plane. There was confusion as they had passengers going both ways in the aisle .. this forced several ppl to stand in the aisle a long time. One of the air hostess had a major attitude. For example one passenger who was stuck in the middle of other passengers asked her politely if she could help him put the carry on in an overhead bin near her .. and she responded "I cant help you, you need to put it up yourself sir". Not something one expects. She was also terse with passengers, ordering them in an annoyed tone."
Plussat: "I didnt know I could only bring one item on board that had to be checked UNDERNEATH the seat in front of me. I didnt have the "right" ticket for over head storage. I had to buy a box for $15 to put my purse in and THEN pay $35 to check my PURSE in! I couldnt check in early. I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment and then even though my assigned seat was in the 10th row, I then had to line up in groups like Southwest and I guess my punishment for sitting in economy was to wait to board last. I felt like third class boarder on the Titanic. United has become less than a Greyhound bus. They will NEVER be my first choice again! It was HORRIFIC I will go to ANY other airlines before them. P.S. the service at the Houston counter were rude and awful except for Ms. Edwards"

Plussat: "United doesn't care about you or any of their customers. Charged me extra fees for luggage then lost my stuff and tell me to write your home office. No thanks but I will let people know how little you care and how poorly you treat your customers. Sorry I flew United!"
Plussat: "Friendly staff, easy boarding. They got me where I needed to go, and on time!"
Miinukset: "I'm disappointed in their in-flight entertainment system. Download the app and check out all of the amazing options they have, then try to use it & good luck. It took me 5 hours to watch 20 min of the movie I chose. It just kept cutting out, then would say entertainment service isn't offered, etc. Why are airlines going away from personal TVs & instead having you bring your own device which may or may not work with the service up there? There was also NO room. I'm not a big person, but I didn't even have space to put my bad under the seat in front of me & sit comfortably. I flew back on JetBlue with the same amount of stuff and had ample room. It was interesting to see the difference."
Miinukset: "Airline staff was misleading. When we left Costa Rica hours late and all missed our connections, the staff in San Jose assured us we would be compensated and put up in hotels. This was not the case, and I ended up spending over 30 hours sitting in airports to get from San Jose to Boston, including an entire night in the Houston airport."
Plussat: "Free TV since we were 2 hours delayed"
Miinukset: "4 delays in 1 day on 2 flights. 2 gate changes with no relay of info and to top it all off my wife and i were reassigned to separate seats at the last minute by the airline and very rudely told to deal with it and to calm down when I simply asked why. We were appalled and embarrassed in front of many others in the gate boarding area. The gate agent in Houston has no place in customer service and was on some kind of a power trip. This surprised me with recent events. We are done with United now for many reasons"

Miinukset: "Boarded late. There were no seats at the gate so everyone had to just stand around waiting to board. No announcement or apology. Took 25 minutes after we landed for the first bag to come down the chute at baggage claim. My first class dining options were chips, pretzels, or a banana. Short flight but still."
Plussat: "Was on time."
Miinukset: "Flight was completely full so I was stuck in a middle seat. The seat felt small and cramped, so was unable to sleep at all on the overnight flight. There was no in-seat entertainment (although I could have watched stuff on my phone, if I had previously installed the united app, and had sufficient battery)."

Miinukset: "Took way too long to determine that a new plane was needed, took way too long to get the plane ready, and reloaded and in the air. Could have driven and been half way there from Newark to Boston in the time all this took. Not ok, with not even an apology or any type of compensation for leaving 3 hours late."
Miinukset: "The fact that I have to pay extra for food or any form of entertainment is appalling compared to other airlines. $20 for WIFI? That's a joke."
Plussat: "Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again."
Miinukset: "United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible."

Miinukset: "We boarded our plane and during preflight check on the runway the captain learned there was mechanical error (in the right engine fuel something). The issue could not be solved and we had to change planes. On the second plane, the captain shared with travelers that "and two loose wires were found, so it's good we caught that and changed planes". What the heck? Shouldn't basic functions be checked before a plane is boarded? What was supposed to be a 1030 red eye, turned out to be a 1 AM bloodshot eye."

Plussat: "The promptness on the flight -the friendly crew - arriving on time means the most, also the flight itself was smooth"

Miinukset: "The controls for my TV didn't work and when I asked for it to be fixed, the attendant told me in a frustrated way that she guessed she could move me seats but then just walked away. For a 5.5 hour flight this was pretty irritating because I didn't have access to any entertainment but also I couldn't even turn the super bright TV off."
