Finnair on lentoyhtiönä nykyään aivan perseestä! Siirtävät esim lentoja 2 päivällä eteenpäin eivätkä kerro matkustajille edes syytä! Laitoin kyselyä asiakaspalveluun jo maaliskuussa 2022 ja lentomme oli 27.5 ja en ole vieläkään saanut vastausta miksi lentoa siirrettiin.
Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.
Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)
Tämä nykyajan "turvatarkastusteatteri" on aivan absurdia matkustajien kiusaamista. EI voi mitenkään olla perusteltua että joutuu jonottamaan yli 2 tuntia sitä että käsimatkatavarat tutkitaan. Matkustajista 99.99999% on rehellisiä asiallisia ihmisiä eikä heidän kiusaamisensa moisella teatterilla edistä mitenkään lentoturvallisuutta. Parannusehdotus turvallisuuspäällikölle potkut tehtäviensä hoidon täydellisestä epäonnistumisesta. Esim lennollani 2 oli vain läpivalaisulaitetta käytössä ja jonossa tuhansia ihmisiä. Ilman lennon myöhästymistä olisimme missanneet lentomme tämän pelleilyn johdosta! Kyllä moiset tarkastukset pitää pystyä järjestämään siten ettei matkustajan tarvitse seisoskella jonossa tuntikausia. ( tämä jonottaminen tarkoittaa myös sitä ettei kukaan voinut käyttää kentän palveluita, eli myös heidän business kärsii tästä typeryydestä)
Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.
Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.
Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.
Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.
Nopeaa toimintaa, kaikki sujui hyvin.
Matkatavaratietomme puuttuivat järjestelmästä. Turhaa vaivaa moisesta asiasta. Valitin suoraan Finnairille.
Kaikki toimii suunnitellusti, ruokaa tai viihettä en käyttänyt.

Check-in jonoa oli aamulennolla, mikä on pienellä lennolla ymmärrettävää. Kaikki muu toimi mainiosti.

Henkilökunnan ystävällisyys oli hyvää, mutta pienille reittilennoille Suomen sisällä olisi mukavaa saada pikku suolaista.
Friendly and professional crew
Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!
Ilmainen kahvi olihan kiva. Lento myöhässä yli 2 h Hesan päässä odotettiin rappusia. Huh huh. On se vaikeeta!
Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.
Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.
Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.
Lentoemäntä joka oli Lennon takaosassa oli todella mukava!
Tässä odottelen laukkua vieläkin niin missähän olis parannettavaa!
Kaikki oli OK. Ei parannusehdotuksia.
Lentokentällä saimme apua kahdesta pisteestä.
Tällä lennolle kaikki sujui hienosti. Henkilökunta toimi ammattitaitoisesti ja lentäjät olivat huippu ammattilaisia, nousut ja laskut olivat hallittua. Kiitos Finnair.
Jokin ongelma saapuessa jolloin bussikuljetus ja kävely toisesta päästä kenttää… kangasmaski käskettiin vaihtaa kesken lennon vaikka osa oli ilman saapuessakin koneeseen Lentolippujen kaivaminen oli haastavaa,sitten keksin liittää finskin appiin
Minulla oli aivan kova nälkä ja halusin ostaa lentokoneessa leivän mutta valitettavasti minä olen nuori enkä omista luottokorttia ja en saanut koneesta mitään koska normaali electron maksu kortti ei kelvannut eikä käteinen kelvannut..

They need more staff to work at check in desk or change flight hours. There were 2 flights of LATAM at the same time and other 2 flights near my flight hour so the line to check in were too long and it didn’t move fast. I understand that now they take more time because they have to check many papers because of COVID-19. But I nearly miss my flight. I barely arrived to the gate 5 minutes before departure time! And obviously this things leads to delay.

Miinukset: "It seems LATAM changed the way they charge fees in July. The ticket for my return trip included no allowance for checked bags, and that detail wasn't obvious on my reservation information. Imagine my surprise when I check-in for an international flight and I'm told I can't check any luggage because it isn't included on my ticket. I ended up paying $210 to check two bags. Also expect to pay a bit more for decent seat assignments. My default seat assignment was at the very back of the plane, right against the rear bulkhead where seats often can't recline. So, another $60 to move elsewhere."

The plane is a beauty, silent, smooth, but when you flight in tight seat, with a minimal reclination, it all goes to the trash. Good entertainment service, modern, but the missed a few movies they should have."
Miinukset: "The uncomfortable seat. It doesn't recline much, very small space between them."
Miinukset: "We flew Latam to go snowboarding in Argentina. The moment we arrived at the desk to check in, it was chaos. We waited in line for almost 2 hours to check in. When we got to Buenos Aires, our snowboard bags had not made it on the flight. Having to deal with Latam agents who hardly spoke English and were not helpful at all was intensity frustrating. Our bags finally got to our destination 2 days later. We had to drive to the airport to pick them up because they were not going to deliver them for another day, so we would have been 3 days without our snowboard gear. Latam did nothing to compensate us for the days lost no did they even seem to care. This is one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. I booked a return flight on Delta and lost $1000 just so I don’t have to deal with Latam again. Any money you save on a flight is not worth having to deal with this company. Stick with reliable American-based companies with customer service that is up to American standards."

Miinukset: "Delayed more than 4 hours and I couldn’t get to my next connections. And they didn’t give us a good solution and they gaved me wrong advice and at the end they wasn’t successful on assisting any request that you did"

Miinukset: "Too many people have carry on baggage that is too big, no space left in the overhead bins for those boarding last. Seats are too narrow, even for a person that is not particularly big."

I've flown to Europe with various international flight companies and LATAM has equaled such but what put it above others was the personal attention when I had a problem with luggage. In Lima, Peru there was a connection and an attendant named Sebastian went the extra mile contacting luggage handlers with his cell phone to ensure my bag was recovered and waiting at the gate of my connecting flight en route to Buenos Aires. A special thanks goes to Sebastian. Thank you Brother."

Ended up breathing the most disgusting smell for hours, arrived to destination with an upside down stomach and nausea."

The airline informed them about the change in schedule but the company did not informe me and I almost lost the flight which would have ended with me not arriving to australia until who knows when. I am quite disappointed with this!"

Plussat: "Despite being closed out of my flight, LATAM made it relatively inexpensive to change my flight to the next day. But, flying on other airlines out of Santiago, there is really no need to close the flight one hour before flight time. This is a LATAM policy only. I should have been on that flight. My return flight was delayed 3 hours. Go figure."
Miinukset: "Arrived 50 min before flight, but it was closed and was forced to pay a change fee and arrive 2 days later to Easter Island. There was still plenty of time for me to make that flight, but LATAM's policy of closing flights 1 hr before flight time really screwed me."

Miinukset: "The check-in process was chaotic and they have lost my luggage even though it was a direct flight."
Plussat: "The stewardesses were great. Great service. Both trips we thought the service was the best we have seen."
Miinukset: "They had difficulty getting the bags on the turnstile but I think that was more an airport problem in santiago. Check in in Punta Arenas was very slow. Sky airlines processed twice the number of people in the same time"
Miinukset: "Both flights were delayed and there were no meteorological problems, I finally arrived in LAX more than 2.5 hours late"
Plussat: "My original flight was delayed and I was going to miss the connection, but LATAM rebooked me in different connecting flights back to the U.S., arriving a few hours later. They automatically took care of my rebooking my luggage, and it arrived just fine. Great proactive customer service!"

Miinukset: "I went to Argentina to spend 4 days with my family, wich I didn't see for 2 years. I arrived to Mendoza. I wait until the last suitcase shows. Any of my suitcases arrived. I spent another hour making the complain. I had to come back to the airport in the evening and spent another hour for my baggages. Unfortunate i waist my first day in the airport and only spent 3 days with my family. Also the day that I had to return to USA the LATAN fly was late 1 and a half hour."

Miinukset: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Plussat: "1. Entertainment - Decent movie selection. I wished the angle of the screen in economy could be adjustable as well. Turkish Air does it better. Once the seat ahead of me reclines I dont have too much hope of saving my eyes from the awkward angles."
Miinukset: "1. Boarding - Learn from maybe Turkish Air who allocate people zones based on where you are seated in the plane. People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Miinukset: "Leaving late seemingly without reason from Paris - chaotic boarding line in Paris with difficult to hear PA. Seats were ok'ish but than again, it's a 45 minute flight. The sandwich was gross and I'm somewhat known as a person who eats everything!"

Done entertainment for the kids. It's a long journey. Bring back your old aeroplane food, I used to love your cooked breakfast when we had a really early start.
Miinukset: "I'm still at Heathrow 12 hours later. I never made it to Oslo."
Miinukset: "We waited THREE HOURS just to check our bags; we didn't have time for a meal prior to boarding as a result. Were told in-flight that they should've given us vouchers, and now we'd have to pay for something to eat. Our luggage was lost and took four days to be delivered."

Miinukset: "Worst transfer ever from Lisbon flight to Chicago flight. Arrived late, bus from tarmac to terminal 5: 12 min. Up down stairs, security check, up down stairs to take the train, up down stairs to gate. Then take the bus back to tarmac to board the plane. A lot of waiting for bus, then being in the last group everyone shoved in the buss like sardines. In the future I’ll avoid at all cost transfers in London ."
Plussat: "Leg room. Direct flight from Europe. Drink services were a lot better than our outbound flight."
Miinukset: "Plane was incredibly old for a long haul flight, with no power socket and extremely outdated TV's. Seats were dirty and small. We were in row 34 (middle of the plane over the wing) and when they got to us with the food options, they had already run out of the second choice on both occasions. On the first service, we asked the attendant if the food had any fish/seafood ingredients (due to allergies) and she said no. We then read on the lid of the food tray that there was a possibility of fish traces so my husband could not eat it. When we told the attendant about it she told us they didn't have anything else. Hard to believe there was nothing they could do, we've never experienced this issue before. We then asked another flight attendant if there was any food available for purchase but she said no. Luckily, she was able to find a vegetarian dish that my husband could eat. We're grateful that she found this as the next food service was not until 6 hours later. Sad that we had to ask again, we were expecting that they cared a little more. Overall, BA didn't meet our expectations unfortunately. This was a trip to Europe in which we took 4 BA flights and overall, the experience was of that no better than a low cost. Would have a hard time thinking of choosing this airline again."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "Waited forever for the wheelchair come if they came on time I would of made it to my flight because they took over an hour I missed my connection flight to JFK"
Plussat: "Crew was courteous. Seats were comfortable, but tight. Meal was tasty and the entertainment was great."
Miinukset: "Boarding is totally chaotic. Once priority boarding is done it is every man for themselves. Most airlines give you a boarding number and that cuts down on the pushing and shoving."
Plussat: "All staff were very helpful and polite"
Miinukset: "This flight was delayed. When it came to boarding my husband who needs special assistance was first taken to board first but then had to be brought back as refuelling was not done and was then last on board. When we arrived at Heathrow his special assistance was not there and we had to wait for about 10/15 minutes. It is stressful traveling with someone who needs help and even worse when there are delays. We were advised that we could leave the aircraft which we did but we were left waiting in an area without any toilets which is a problem for him"
Plussat: "The plane take off and landing were great. The cabin crew were pleasant."
Miinukset: "Boarding was confusing as announcements were hard to hear about zones. The plane was old and run down. The top of my arm rest had a plastic cover that kept falling off. There was no entertainment on the plane. It was a 2 hour flight from Madrid to London and we didn't not get any refreshments for free. I would at least expect a drink and pretzels as that's standard everywhere else."
Miinukset: "At airport had line for baggage drop if had boarding passes. But, then only had one station open out of four or five. One person had problem I guess. Line didn't move for 10-15 minutes. VERY BAD!!"
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Miinukset: "No options for break fast on the last rows, and I get the feeling the Snack Menu rans out pretty quickly"

Plussat: "Excellent leg room (I was the first row after the bathrooms). Kind and polite staff. I enjoyed that there were trivia games as well as movies. The free wine was an unexpected bonus."
Miinukset: "Usually I am moderately impressed with British Airways food, but not this time. The pasta alfredo was acceptable, but there was no vegetable aside from an overly cream-laden slaw and there were no recognizable greens in there. Maybe onion and celery. The bread roll was dense and dry."
Plussat: "meal was excellent, blankets were appreciated"
Miinukset: "Seats were way to cramped in economy. Center seating armrests did not elevate -- even tho there were no other passengers in my row, I could not spread out. I ended up with difficulty walking for 2 days afterwards due to T-band cramps. Please advise your passengers that they need to get up and walk every couple of hours. Common sense, but none that I apparently had."

Miinukset: "old airplane, kind of run down impression. annoying and not really working touchscreen, lousy choice of movies. Everything had the air of not being organized, we had to change our seats twice without knowing, why. Really poor food compared to any other airline I know. One of the stewards constantly spilled drops of beverages over me, when he was pouring them for me and the passengers around."
Plussat: "The pilot communjcated very well and was able to keep passengers calm during the heavy turbulence."
Miinukset: "I was only allowed ONE free bag for an international flight??? Totally unheard of. This was my first time flying BA and it will certainly be my last. For a 12hr flight, we were only fed ONCE! There was also an hr + delay without prior notification sent via email."
Plussat: "Especially a flight attendant...he was in the back of the plane, unfortunately I can't remember his name, he was so very nice , attentive to our needs and wants...what a difference it can make to have staff like him.And in general ell staff staff on board were very courteous and friendly...they were there not just to work, but to be kind and very pleasant."

Plussat: "Politeness of crew. The employee at Toronto was able to change my middle seat to aisle as requested. My original seat was aisle but it was changed and I found out in Boston."
Miinukset: "That it was cramped. I was on a 4seat row, aisle, but I had the man next to me encroaching on my leg and arm space"
Miinukset: "Delayed 4 hours so I missed my connection. Flight attendants not kind. Could not sleep due to flight attendants chatter standing next to my seat."
Plussat: "Great crew and smooth flight. Boarding is a bit stressful because storage is eaten up quickly by other passengers. Great movie selection and decent food. Thank you!"
Miinukset: "Extremely delayed, and changed our seats to worse ones"
Miinukset: "Major delays due to poor maintenance. Maintenance is done with passengers on board. No issues with inconveniencing passengers. If you call to complain and ask for compensation, I’ll hey tell you to submit an email and they will respond 3-5 weeks or longer. Will never fly Air Canada again. Will tell everyone on my social media how awful this airline is to customers."
Plussat: "Good leg room. Staff friendly and helpful. Really great flight."
Miinukset: "Food was grose. Seat was located on an emergency exit and supposed to be "preferred". Worst seat ever. Right next to the window is very uncomfortable since your stuck to the wall if the plane. Theres no window on that row. But this specific seat is awkward and very uncomfortable."

And I lost 2 full days because of the airlines' delayed flights."

Plussat: "Wel,l my flight out of SFO was delayed by an hour and ~20 minutes, which was the length of my layover in Toronto. The pilot was able to make up some time in the air, but I still had to go through customs, security, and then run through most of the Toronto airport with only 25 minutes (before my flight left, probably even less because they close the doors before take off). I was off the plane at 7:30. My flight to Charlottetown was on-time, leaving at 7:55. The nicest male flight attendant on the plane moved me to a seat right before first class and put my carry-on in the closet at the front so I could be of the first off the plane! I ran through the airport, customs, security and all. I got to the gate at 7:41. The lady at the gate saw me running from far off and asked if I was Michelle. She was so happy that I had made it and let me catch me breath before I boarded. The delay on the first flight was very unfortunate and stress-inducing, but all the Air Canada people I interacted with along the way were very wonderful."

Miinukset: "Air Canada Oversold my flight, the process of reaching my destination was incredibly painful and uncertain. For example -at one point an Air Canada service representative provided me with a ticket for my original flight with a seat assignment however when I tried to board the aircraft the gate agent confiscated the ticket and then destroyed it advising that I was not supposed to get a seat. Air Canada gate agents and check in staff were visibly struggling with the computer booking/reservation system at multiple points throughout this process. For example - at one point my bag was checked on a flight that I was not on and the gate agent openly expressed disbelief and concern that it was happening outside their control... very concerning."
Plussat: "We arrived to our destination safely"
Miinukset: "Overbooked flight Switched gates at the last minute before boarding--very confusing. Filthy bathrooms on plane Typical bad airline food; couldn't even break apart dinner roll it was so rubbery. No individual movie screens, had to use your own mobile device and earphones or pay $10 to use an ipad provided by the plane to access in-flight network. Overall very disappointing service. Expected much more from Air Canada."
Plussat: "The fact that I could charge my i phone..."
Miinukset: "The lax attitude to service and customer satisfaction there was a problem with the entertainment system, took over an hour to get attention... But no positive resolution..."
Plussat: "We were delayed leaving Barcelona. Liked that Air Canada rebooked flights and kept us up to date on other flights with short connecting times."
Miinukset: "This is for Air Canada Rouge which is their low cost portion. Had outlets to charge but did not work or very slow to charge phones, no wifi available even to buy, flight attendants are young and inexperienced in handling questions about challenges. No entertainment on flights which I did not know until after my first flight to Venice with no entertainment (iPads were all rented out) or Wifi available for over eight hours. Bathrooms are old and several bathrooms did not have brighter lighting after you lock door."

Plussat: "Entertainment choices on this flight/with this plane were endless, and you didn't have to pay extra for them like you do with Condor, for instance. The seats were relatively comfortable, in comparison to the way you are packed into some planes these days. Particularly liked the headrests that were adjustable side to side. It helped in this particular case the flight wasn't completely full, and so I had the seat next to me free."
Plussat: "Flight attendants were great, very nice, professional, accommodating. I woke up in the middle of the night and they politely gave me a glass of water, good food and drink service. I was so tired, I chose not to eat the dinner, so I can't speak to that, but the breakfast was juice, coffee and a slice of banana bread which was very good. Pilot was great, easy flight, easy landing. No complaints!"
