Instructions for Business Class passenger boarding was not clear. A seperate seating area for Business Class at the gate would improve the experience significantly. Experience with check-in as well as experience on onboard the plane was excellent.

Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as, if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

They have made the seats even narrower and tighter fore. Like paying someone a lot of money to torture you. Tall people—don’t mean NBA— can’t scoot down so there’s no seat to support neck. We got sore necks and no sleep. The aisles so narrow now flight attendants are hitting people’s shoulders all the time, spilled hot coffee on me. They probably have bruises. Airlines guilty of human rights violations.

The flight was three hours delayed and instead of having us wait to board we waited two hours in the plane before take off. For the future if they know connection flights are delayed they should have us wait outside

It's a small airport where you go out onto the tarmac. It's easy to get through. But there was no food or beverage service on the flight whatsoever.
Very fast check in and boarding, very nice cabin crew and great options in the onboard menu. The economy seats are fixed in the upright position, so I wasn’t able to recline. I saw that the Internet is pretty good, but it’s only free for business passengers.

There was only one person available to check everyone in for Iberia. It was grateful. Plane was old. Not even a glass of water was offered."

We then had to go through an arduous process to get handwritten boarding passes in Madrid. This put us at the end of the line for boarding. Then the gate agent refused to let us board because the boarding passes Iberia customer service wrote and stamped didn’t have ticket # on ithem. The gate agent made it clear that it was all on me to go back to the agent at customer service to get it addressed and make it back in-time. The other passenger was my 80 year old mother who a I had to leave unaccompanied at the gate so i’d have some chance of running across the terminal and making it back in-time, which fortunately I did. The complete lack of interest in helping or even acknowledging that this was their mistake is the reason why I will never fly Iberia again."

Plussat: "Exit row seating has plenty of room"
Miinukset: "The cabin temperature was unbelievably low, everyone was complaining about how cold it was, rubbing and blowing on our hands. The woman next to me was concerned about being made sick because of prolonged exposure to cold. Then they forced us to buy blankets for 25 euro. Unless I hear that this flight was unique I won’t ever fly level again no matter how discounted the airfare"
Plussat: "Entertainment package consisting of up-to-date TV shows/ series and movies that have recently been released. The time passed by faster than expected with this. The meal plan was better than some restaurants. With Meatballs being the main course followed by rice & veggies and finished with the sugar cake."
Miinukset: "Having the seat by the bathroom. Even though passengers were instructed not to form a line, they did and were encroaching in my personal space for the majority of the flight. Though this is not an airline issue, it did effect the comfort of the 4.6hr flight."
Miinukset: "Our luggage did not arrive. They told us it was sent to another city by mistake and that they would get it to us as soon as it arrived. It's a long story but we didn't get the bag for a week. We called multiple times and got very little help. We finally got the bag, but had to buy new clothes to get by in the meantime."
Plussat: "The prive"
Miinukset: "Even though there were rows of empty seats we were assigned the very last row. The flight attendants were clanging and banging right behind us though there was no food or drink service. The seats are too close together leaving no leg room for this six footer to sit with any comfort level. We won't do that again."
Plussat: "Cabin crew did reseat a passenger when there were two tallish men in same row."
Miinukset: "The seat on the LGW to MAD leg of my journey was very painful and uncomfortable. Seat pitch was very short. I have never seen such close seats in 45 years of flying including bargain airlines let alone more pricey higher quality airlines like British. Iberia was supposed to be an extension of British. When I arrived at MAD I went to the Iberia desk and tried to make an upgrade to their "business" class which was not up to the level of British's Premium Economy. At the Iberia desk at MAD, or online, or on the phone to upgrade the short leg of my return trip without raising cost of my whole round trip from USD $1250 to over USD $4000! years.This was RETURN part of my journey! Also was not able to choose seats ahead of time at MAD when I landed, online, or on the phone. British also said that I could not upgrade just the first (MAD to LGW) leg of my return journey. I would have to upgrade the LGW to TPA also. It is critical to me that I can physically fit into the space between my seat and the one in front. Emergency evacuation would be very difficult for all pax with the short seat pitch. My having to sit sideways with my legs in the aisle would make it more difficult for other pax to to evacuate in an emergency. Since I need a wheel chair I can no longer request the exit row as I have done for 45 years. British should be aware that bad experiences with partner airlines tarnishes their reputation. As a premier airline British should pressure partner airlines to maintain seat pitch at no less than 32 inches which is still tight for many people. Since not all partners have equivalent classes of fares, British should allow mixed classes. For example on a TPA to MAD round trip journey, it should be possible for the transatlantic legs to be at Premium Economy prices, and the short legs LHR or LGW to MAD at business class prices. Miinukset: "Connecting flight by the same airline put us only 10 mil late. The plane was still at the gate, but they did not let 15+ of us on board and left. We had to wait for 2 hours at a very unfriendly customer service to get placed on another flight."
Plussat: "Lovely staff"
Miinukset: "Due to delay of previous flight I missed my connection for which I had a 3 hour layover prior to delays. I was put on another flight out of LGA upon arrival but was not given a travel voucher even though I was told tmi had one in my envelope. Trying to get someone to issue a voucher almost made me miss my new connection."
Plussat: "a non event flight - meal was ok, flight attendants helpful"
Miinukset: "airport in london - waited for hours to find which gate to used - sent us across to the wrong side and then only 40 minutest to board and we were running to take underground rail back to other side and find correct gate."
Plussat: "Overall I give the flight an average score, I like that everything was attended in a service oriented manner."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the aspect of lack of order at the airport specially when boarding, crew seemed a bit lost for a second there. In some respects I felt the plane had a dated feel to it; but then, I've never flown with Iberia before."

Miinukset: "Boarding process out of Miami international was disorganized and unpleasant. Crew did not have control over the order for boarding and it became a bit of a mob."

Miinukset: "Unable to get to connecting flight in time available - this itinerary should not be sold. wasted 4 hours in Madrid and my ride in Jerez wasted time also. Many people from my flight and others were in the same position."

Plussat: "Seats were not as bad/tiny as expected although they would not recline at all. We were served 2 meals on our overseas flight. That was also a surprise."

Plussat: "I felt rushed when eating. There was not enough time to eat when they were coming to offer more bread and coffee. They were in a hurry to pick up. Food was short"

Miinukset: "I got fever after I boarded the flight. After the lunch/dinner , probably 30 mins after it I asked for Hot water or some hot tea as I was feeling cold. Both the flight attendants told me the service is closed. If this is your hospitality, ba**s to you from next time."
Miinukset: "the flight over LAX to Madrid was horrible. An old plane, both my husband and I had broken seats, no screens, and no charging capability. The flight from MAD to LAX was much better with a newer plan. I would however, not fly with Iberia again, because the out bound flight was so awaful. So average rating is okay."

Miinukset: "Flight was over two hours delayed; flight attendants mostly ignored economy cabin, closed the curtains and chatted in their little area, and took a really long to respond to calls for attention to get water etc."

Miinukset: "Checking was a mess : Could only check in for the first flight, checkin for the second time was available 24h before the second flight, and when I finally was able to check in, it failed. so I had to check in at the desk in Paris. I also was not sure if I had to checkin at the AA desk or Iberia desk : ended up being AA, but you all should be clear about this and say it on your confirmation email for multi company flights. My ticket said Iberia but the flight was handled by AA. Food was awful and no personal screen in the plane, but that's not your fault."
Miinukset: "had a booked flight from madrid to gatwick, london and connection the next day at 11 am to Tampa US. We were at the airport at 1500. Flight was supposed to board at 1820 and leave at 1850. When checking the board, the flight's boarding was anticipated to 1810. We were at the gate at 1815 and there was an electronic sign signaling "boarding". However there was no personal, no line of waiting passengers and no plane. Upon checking we were told that the plane had already left. (this was at 1828). The only way to make our connection in london was a flight to Heathrow later with BA. Then we had to get a taxi to get to gatwick. Will never fly Iberia again."
