Had twins and whenever meals were served, I couldn’t take them but whenever I buzzed, was asked to wait but then nothing came through. At the end of the flight, I had missed all my meals, no hot water for kids milk"
Plussat: "It was not immediately apparent that boarding was in a completely different terminal which was accessible by train, so this lack of info could have cost me arriving in good time as I thought I had sufficient time. I aldo found ground staff at the customer service desk very unsympathetic and unhelpful when I asked for assistance on grounds of ill health. They were quite condescending ."

Miinukset: "Muslim meal does not mean all Muslims eat curry. It’s rediculous that we cant have a decent English breakfast instead you get curry or some form of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper. Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc."
Plussat: "Everything. The staff were absolutely lovely, the brand new fit out of the 777 is excellent and modern, the entertainment was great as was the food. Overrall really impressed."
Miinukset: "We were put on standby. We expected our names to be called for seat assignments but we didn’t expect we could just swipe our boarding pass and our seat assignment would show. It’s a nice feature but I didn’t like that it wasn’t clearly explained to us."

Miinukset: "Lufthansa's narrowbodies have one of the most uncomfortable seats in the sky. These slimline seats are built with a central beam running vertically along the midline of the seat, making it very uncomfortable with your spine."

Miinukset: "I missed somehow the distribution of headsets, and I never got one (after asking for one). (Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. The random boarding went surprisingly well, although I'd prefer the more structured version. Until there is bread, butter and cheese, I am fine with the bland food."

Miinukset: "Flight out was late due to the bus being late picking up the crew. We had to run for our connections. On the way back we were delayed again , leaving 20 minutes to make our connection. Security at Frankfurt was so poor. Of the potential number of lines available, there were only two operating despite the number of passengers, most of whom were late for their connections. It took us over 30 minutes to get through. Luckily the connecting flight was delayed over an hour."

The flight we missed was still at the gate but the door had closed. We were told the flight was oversold so it benefited the airline that we missed it. It’s muxh cheaper to put us in a horrible hotel with disgusting food and fly us out the next day, then pay people to choose a new flight. I had two small children at home and Diebel to this incompetence missed my 4 year olds birthday. He was devastated all thanks to your airline."
Plussat: "Very hospitable. Really enjoyed the food. Got bumped up to Business class on both legs of the trip."
Miinukset: "The boarding could have been better organized at Frankfurt. Was very scattered."
Miinukset: "I was very irritated and angry about the checking in procedure at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Lufthansa representatives were extremely slow and inefficient. I already performed the check in online. What is the purpose of online check in if I had to wait in line almost an hour only to drop off my luggage???!! Very unpleasant experience."
Plussat: "The crew was very responsive. The seat requires real improvement. Austrian can provide bette seat than the allowed minimum."

Miinukset: "The Austrian airlines website is absolutely the worst and least user friendly that I've seen for an airline. I tried paying for my bags and it rejected half of the itinerary's bookings for no reason. It took a ton of clicks to get stuff done and I kept getting errors. Very limited movie selection."

Miinukset: "When we checked in, we were told we didn't have seats because the plane was overbooked. We waited at the gate for information. The attendants were curt and not helpful, they told us they had no information. After the plane was boarded, we were finally given tickets with seats and rushed onto the plane. When we arrived at the Sarajevo airport, our luggage and the luggage of many passengers did not arrive! We waited in a line for 1.5 hours to put in a claim for our suitcases. It was not a good experience."

Miinukset: "Online check-in did not allow me to select my seat. It was already assigned and didn't let me change it Boarding was later than scheduled and caused my connecting flight at O'Hare hectic This was the first time that I had ordered Kosher food and I would never make that mistake again, the meal was okay but the sandwich was awful and had no taste!"
Plussat: "They were really good with checking in my excess baggage and my two cats. Cats travelled well and arrived as expected. Check in at O'Hare was very friendly. In the air, flight attendants were very accommodating and friendly. All luggage and cats arrived! The plane from O'Hare to Austria was very nice!"
Miinukset: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Miinukset: "had a narrow connecting flight VIE to MUC, VIE flight was delayed and had to catch MUC to IAD flight in less than 15 min. One luggage was missing at baggage claim, but as DC/ Baltimore is home, luggage arrived in 48 hrs. All is well that ends well."

Plussat: "Seating like every other airline in economy. There was NO baggage charge for economy and the drink trolley offered wine and beer, at no cost, on our 1.5 hour flight."
Plussat: "After flight to Vienna was cancelled, we were put on a flight to Frankfurt instead."
Miinukset: "Kayak sent me an email at 5:16am for an 8:15 am flight titled, "Austrian Airlines flight #704 from PRG on time". It was in fact cancelled. Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

Plussat: "Hi there, the gate for the flight was changed at the last minute and I missed the connecting flight from Frankfurt to Vienna. I was told by staff that there would be a 300 Euro fee, plus the cost of the next flight. This broke my heart. why I wouldn't I simply be put on standby and get on the next flight? I ended up travelling by to Vienna by train, over the course of the next several days. I am a lone woman with a developmental disability, travelling to Europe for the first time. It was very disappointing to be treated this way. Thanks for reading."

Miinukset: "The flight from Budapest to Vienna was delayed so we missed our connection to Tel Aviv. The behavior of the ground staff who were supposed to assist us was outrageous. They behaved like a low cost company with one answer to any request, and this is the word "NO". It does not seem logical that we ever go with Austrian again. We do deserve a compensation for the delay and the behavior."
Plussat: "IT WOES HAREBELL. 4 HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT THEY TELL NE THETA WE DOESN`T HAVE PLIES ON THE FLIGHT. THE MAN IN DESC 377 GAVE TO ME BIRDING CARD TO GET G. IN STAND-BY. THER FLIGHT 599 NOT ON THE BORD. AT THE HEAD OFFICE OFF THE OSTREIN CCOMPANY IN GAT G TELL TO WAIT. HALF HOUR LATER STILL THE FLIGHT NO ON THE BORD AND I RAN EAGEN TO OFFICE OF OSTRIEN END NOW THEY SAD IT`S MESTEK AND I IN GET F . NOW WE MAST MAKE THE SECURITY CHECK OVER AGAIN . WE RAN TO GET F TO FLOOR DAWN . IN THE END...WE GET BORDING CARD WITH SEPARATED SETS."

Miinukset: "We were advised to arrive at the gate 45 minutes before departure. We waited an hour and a half more until we boarded. The plane was late on arrival but there were no announcements. No one knew what was going on or when we would board. There was no food served whatsoever. Just beverages. There was no entertainment."
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed"

Miinukset: "Aircraft was older 777 and lavatories weren't very clean. Upon landing in Vienna, my mobility walker (tagged to be brought up to me at jetway) was sent to my connecting flight to Sophia. The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."

Plussat: "The crew worked so hard and were always ready to do more for any problem that arose, be it, mothers with babies, the elderly and infirm, the less than gracious occasional passenger, or younger children. The entertaining things on the individual screens also helped make the long periods of sitting more manageable for young and old."
Miinukset: "I didn't like how the passengers in general, left the cabin of the plane in such a mess! The crew came through several times for refuse, so I couldn't understand. Leaving pillows and blankets should be the only thing to clear out. Maybe a note on the TV screen could say, "a tidy plane helps flights be on time :-)""
Miinukset: "After dinners the crew did not remove trays fora long time preventing movement. When the finally did there was a rush for the toilets. Having some toilets out of order compounded the problem Food is ok at best. The morning muffin was terrible A poor comparison to our flight last year on Turkish air"
