Miinukset: "The crew we had was very impatient and irritated quickly. The flighy attendent name was Jorge. Starting at the beggining of the flight before we took of I asked him about the head phones. One child had one on tye chair and I asked him if its suppose to be on the seat or given later on. He said it will be passed later and then with a patronizing manner he gave another head phone set and said: "I guess we havw an emergency". On the flight, every time he with the food and drinks he just stood there next to me talking over my head with the passenger begind me. Very uncomfortable, especially when it happens 6 or 7 times. When asking what drink we wanted ( the first time), i replied apple and orange juicewith no ice. He replied, with a patronizing manner "this it European company, not American company. Here we don't put ive if you do not ask for it".The incident that bother me the most is one that involved my kids also. My daughter (3 years old) was a bit scared of the flight, tired and did not want to sit on her chair. We tried to keek her on the chair buy she started crying laying down on the floor infront of our seats. Jorge the flight attendant saw her and told me to put her on the seat. Not in a manner I expect out of soneone in the service industry. I told him we are working on it and we will have her on the chair as soon as we can. When I said that he got irritated and a bit aggressive. For no reason the situation became hostile. The flight attendent on the other side (do not know his name). Can over and asked us what we needed amd if we need help. I told the other flight attendant we need 5 minutes and he said OK. After a few minutes she calmed down. Anotger passenger asked Jorge what beer it is and he replied, with contempt, " its German beer, its good"."

Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

Plussat: "This was a direct Copenhagen to Boston flight run by SAS for Privatair. It was a small aircraft with only 70 total seats. That being said, the seats were comfortable, the service was wonderful, and the flight was smooth."
Miinukset: "Inflight entertainment consisted of an iPad with very limited options. Only one non-alcoholic drink included with dinner, and purchase price of wine was the highest I have ever seen on a flight."
Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."
Miinukset: "We paid over $75 for each piece of checked luggage. We could have saved 40% by pre-purchase but were not warned when purchasing our flights for almost the same price as the cost of the luggage."

However, when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I had to pay an additional $75 to check my bag in even though my boarding pass stated I was able to check in one bag. I was then pushed back and forth through the airport to complete this process. I would have liked to be given warning if I had to pay any additional costs."

When i arrived in airport i realized flight was actually cancelled. And i tried to call and nobody picked up the pphone. I was travelling from Moscow."

Plussat: "Reasonable fares. Good baggage accommodations. Denver to Iceland direct. Nice flight staff. The flight attendant pointed out the people who were awake the northern lights which was definitely the highlight of my trip!"
Miinukset: "Seats small. Surprised no meals unless purchased. But didn’t matter too much I ate before the flight left. And it was nice to have something to purchase if needed. It was confusing where I could purchase my baggage ahead of the me while checking in online so I just paid for it once I got to the airport."

Miinukset: "Checked-in online, got baggage tag from kiosk, only to find that there was no baggage drop, and everyone had to stand in line whether they had already checked-in or not. They had several airlines mixed together and no signage to tell you where to go, so people ended up in the wrong place first. Knew there would be no food, so brought snacks, only to have the crew tell us there was a person who was allergic to peanuts on the flight and we were not allowed to open our snacks because they contained peanuts."

Miinukset: "Depending on the seat you get (aisle, middle, or window) you either can or cannot fit anything under the seat in front of you. Each seat has different space. What I usually take wouldn't fit anywhere but the window. The middle seat space is USELESS as there is something installed that MAY give you about 6 inches from floor to it. The aisle seat's forward under space is a cube shape, so typical carry-ons won't fit there either. As I slept the whole way to Reykyavik, I don't know much about the service. The under seat space may lead me to not booking Icelandair again."

Plussat: "I appreciated the fact that we were able to fly out despite there being a major snow storm and closed airport just hours before our takeoff. We also appreciated being able to switch our connection flight fairly easily once we knew we would be delayed. The staff was very kind and since we had a longer layover in Keflavik, we were very grateful for the food vouchers to used in the airport while we waited."
Miinukset: "The airline wouldn't make a decision about whether or not the plane would be flying out on time or be delayed until about an hour before our original boarding time. Seeing as the airport and only road getting to the airport were closed, it seems like they would have been able to make that decision and alert all passengers much sooner. We kept calling in to check on the flight status and they said we would receive texts and emails with any changes, but I never did."
Plussat: "Huge snowstorm in Denver caused the airport to shut down. Plane left about 5 hours late. We missed our connection and even though it wasn't Icelandic Air's fault they gave me a taxi, a room and three meals until I caught my connecting flight the next day. Amazing service."
Plussat: "Comfortable seat and enjoyed movie/TV selection."

Miinukset: "I did not like having to pay for snacks or the fact that our row could not access the flightpath on our screens. I also was most annoyed by the passenger behind me who seemed not to know that her tapping fingers on the screen in front of her were actually tapping the back of my head as I tried to sleep. Perhaps airlines could remind passengers that what they do to the seat in front of them affects the occupants of those seats?"
Plussat: "Food and entertainment options a step above US options"
Miinukset: "Icelandair used other airlines personnel to check us in in Denver. Did a poor job describing flight options such as Saga Club access to Nited Club lounge."

Miinukset: "The crew was late getting to the gate. All of them talked to me like I was a child they were disappointed in. No one smiled. I thought all of the crew was mad at us for using their airline."

An announcement would have helped a lot. Philky-Prg: Long delays with food , staff was slow on the Philly -Prg flight. Seemed like they didn't want to be there. No info from flight crew. Phily to Prg - Crappy old plane that should not be flying over seas anymore. Applies to both flights unless specified."

Miinukset: "On the way to Denver from Miami we were on a nice new AA plane with TV entertainment, movies, power, and comfortable seats. On the way from Denver to Miami we were on an old plane with no entertainment and old uncomfortable seats. If this is going to be the case, charge me less up front as well. My daughter had a terrible time for a 4 hour flight."

Plussat: "My checked in bag did not arrive to HEL... Nedless to say I did check the bag tag was properly labeled RIX to HEL... oh well ... bad score for Baltic Air ... truly hope to see my bag in CGK when I arrived. Qatar airways pls come to the rescue."

Miinukset: "They overbooked the flight and without any apologies on their behalf or without even informing me, they stop me and my fiance at the gate and just told is that we can not go to the flight I book and prepay 4 month at advance! The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"
Miinukset: "This is an airline that has perfected the art of nickle-and-diming customers. One example: I asked for a glass of water. The smug flight attendant told me, “We only sell bottled water,” with a look that dared me to complain."

Apparently Air Baltic has no clue about how to run a service business. Somebody has to teach them this naked reality: IN SERVICE BUSINESS YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR MAJOR MARKETING ASSETS! They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

Other airlines use two languages - national and English"

Plussat: "The equipment used for the trip to latvia. the cs300 was superb and I enjoyed my seat. It was comfortable. The boarding was quick and efficient. spacious and quite lovely. the food was ok . i enjoyed the grilled pork."
Miinukset: "the customer service rep stopped only me, the only black man travelling from riga to russia and was scrutinizing my passport for some long agonizing minutes. My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."
Plussat: "Flight was on time which was surprising given a late snow storm in Tallinn."
Miinukset: "The flight was fully booked, and the system re-assigned seats for a number of passengers. This created confusion as passengers arrived to their assigned seats to find other passengers in the seats. There also appeared to be a miscommunication between the crew as some crew members said to passengers whose seats were taken they should sit anywhere, whereas other crew members tried to get everyone back in their assigned seats. This was frustrating. Also the overhead bin lockers are very difficult to open"

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed approximately 45 minutes as a result of late arrival of aircraft - surprising since it was a morning flight.. I am 6ft2, leg room is VERY tight. I slept most of the flight so cannot speak to food or entertainment. Watch out for the fees! 5 euro per leg for a seat assignment 60 euro to check bags."
Miinukset: "For people who have Airbaltic as a connecting flight this might be very inconvenient. We paid 40 Eur/person each way for our luggage . That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"
