Good cabin crew, Wi-Fi availability al through my trip.
Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.
Plussat: "Crew are the best!"
Miinukset: "Boarding was a disaster as my companion was selected for random search which held us up as there was no urgency to process us. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."
Plussat: "Crew attentive. The delay was due to airport conditions in FCO, cannot be blamed on Air France."
Miinukset: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."
Plussat: "Exit row seat had much more space for legs, very much worth the upcharge for this seat."
Miinukset: "Cabin temperature was very cool for me. Never used a blanket on an international flight before, and used a blanke on this whole 9 hour flight. Maybe a function of the seat location? Not sure but I was cold."
Plussat: "Entertainment system"
Miinukset: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."
Plussat: "The crew was terrific."

Plussat: "The entire experience was amazing that gives me a broader scope to choose from when selecting flights to Europe. The most amazing part was the attentiveness of the staff. Exemplary!!!!!"

Miinukset: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."

Miinukset: "The food was not heat correctly it was cold and I felt that the crew rush to give out the food. The seats are terrible, if the person in front of you reclines you won’t be able to see the screen if your watching a movie and you will see the top of the persons head."
Miinukset: "Separated me and my wife for the whole flight! Could not accommodate us together. This reservation was made over 6 weeks ago !!!"
Plussat: "The size of the plane was nice. They had a good move selection. The vegan meal I was given was great."
Miinukset: "It was loud, cold, the food was just okay at least my vegan meal was the bomb but it would have been better had when we booked the flight it allowed me to also choose this option for my husband. Since he is vegan as well."
Miinukset: "Told us to get in line for boarding and review our tickets and then made us stand there for 75 minutes before boarding."

Plussat: "Although we departed late from Paris, it arrived on time to Mexico City. Most of the stewardess very professional and kind."
Miinukset: "Although we traveled in Business, all business cabins were full of children, tired crying, walking around. My suggestion to AIR France would be that the small cabin of business were assigned to adults only. Regarding food, some options were not available when our turn came."

Miinukset: "We ordered a vegetarian meal. However, the vegetarian option offered to those who did not order a special meal looked better than the vegetarian option that we received."

Miinukset: "Premium economy seats do not recline, only slouch. One of our 2 seats wouldn't slouch more than half way. The entertainment options are extremely sparse and the screens are 4:3 ratio, tiny, and of such poor quality that they look like laptop monitors from 1999."
Miinukset: "Disappointed to get delayed due to control tower issues at CdG. Landed more than 30 mins late in London"
Plussat: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Miinukset: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."
Miinukset: "Food was not good."
Miinukset: "Everything. AF changed seats without authorization or notification, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. Their entire attitude was "nothing to be done, now board plane and leave" no compensation was offered, nothing done to remedy their mistake or rude behavior and treatment"
Miinukset: "The food is awful The entertainment, i.e. movie selection, is not very good and doesn't change very much. The seats are not comfortable and my chair did not recline."
Plussat: "I am a 70 year old woman with reduced mobility. The flight attendants made sure that I was given an aisle seat and they helped me find a seat with two empty ones next to me. The crew could not have been kinder."
Miinukset: "There is nothing I did not like."
Plussat: "The flight was good overall. Friendly crew good attention."
Miinukset: "There was a delay due to technical dificulties in previous flight. This caused a delay in take off and no AC while waiting in the plane for 40 minutes."
Flight from Nashville to Dallas, 7:15 AM flight, I'm sitting in first class which means I paid a lot more than coach passengers, and all they had to eat at that hour were cookies, crackers, and chips. That's less than adequate for that hour. American Airlines needs to find a way to do better!
BA food is always a little strange. Wasn’t as much food as usual
in my case I forgot my jacket in my seat. I reported it after 2 hours of getting off the plane at Coustumer Service and they couldn't give me a reason, I checked with AA staff on my next flight to Lima and they told me that at my final destination they could help me find out with the cleaning company. I hope you can find it... in the end I made a report on the AA website
USB plug did not work in-flight and it seemed super bumpy from start to finish. Not sure if it was because it was a much smaller plane, but I fly generally 2ce a week for work and this was by far the bumpiest and wobbliest(not sure if that is a word..haha) I've had this year. Also, in Albuquerque the gates shifted from what was on the boarding pass to what was in the terminal which caused some confusion. Then landing in Austin for my layover to Tampa the flight was delayed and then back on time on the in-app boarding pass, the gate changed too and when I got to the gate my flight was not posted. I thought I was going to miss my flight because it was supposed to have been boarding right then and I couldn't find the gate for my flight. Finally someone showed up to the desk and I was able to ask, and she confirmed that it was that gate and was delayed. There were several of us going to Tampa that were a bit stressed and confused. After all was said and done we were delayed about an hour, but it was the confusion that made things so much more stressful. I like to fly American quite a bit, and have a MC as well, and although there have been some delays, which I understand will happen, I haven't experienced this level of confusion.
The flight was three hours delayed and instead of having us wait to board we waited two hours in the plane before take off. For the future if they know connection flights are delayed they should have us wait outside
Small airplane, not completely full which is good,no food but short flight so it's ok. overall i rate 7 out of 10 good but not the best.

Miinukset: "SERVE FOOD!!!! all other airlines are serving and if your serving in first class, then clearly you do not care about the well-being of coach passengers. You can use touch less systems for paying . Don’t be cheap. We’re already paying. I’m losing interest in American air."

Plussat: "Decent selection of movies, 2 rounds of drink offerings for a 4-hour flight"
Miinukset: "Despite having to use our own cell phones/devices to watch movies, there were no electrical outlets to keep our devices charged; had I known this ahead of time, I would have made sure to charge my phone fully. Boarding was also challenging as multiple people had to walk to the rear of the plane to store roller bags, and then travel back 'upstream' to their seat; one of the flight attendants became slightly testy when assisting these passengers back to their seat."
Miinukset: "Don’t get the egg salad breakfast sandwich. It’s got more turkey and cheese than egg salad."
Plussat: "Flight attendant Odette was exceptionally professional and pleasant, moreso than any other AA crew in recent memory."
Miinukset: "It took a long time before we received an explanation of why we were delayed in takeoff and during that time the smell of jet fuel filled the cabin."
Miinukset: "Wheel got stuck during takeoff. Had to fly standby to get home. Originally told I would not get home that day. It was 8 am"
Plussat: "crew was good. plane was clean"
Miinukset: "terrible entertainment option. plane interior was old and only way to have entertainment was using my own device, which was a phone and has a small screen. on the way back it was great"
Plussat: "The Jetstar flight was smooth and on time."
Miinukset: "Fukuoka and Narita airports had terminals that weren’t connected by a train or even an indoor path. It was covered but it was cold in Narita and Fukuoka required a slow shuttle."

Plussat: "The counter attendant was helpful in changing our seats so could sit together."
Miinukset: "The flight attendant when first boarding was extremely rude. We had a bag we brought on three previous legs of our total travel which was considered by all of the other attendants as a personal item. This particular attendant very rudely informed us it was not, and we needed to check it. When we tried to explain the previous flights she responded with “I just explained this to the other passengers...it’s not allowed.” We didn’t argue, and gave the bag to the personnel in attendance, but the tone for the duration of the flight continued."
Plussat: "The customer service/ticket agent skipped her lunch break to get us on the plane. She went way beyond the call of duty. We will be eternally grateful."

Plussat: "The Resolution team assisted me initially when I arrived to correct an issue from my online attempt. The agent printed bag checks for me to my final destination and told me how to get needed boarding pass for the final stage. How wonderful to have pleasant and professional personal attention."
Miinukset: "There was an announcement made after takeoff that due to "turbulence" no hot beverages would be served. That is just unbelievable! I spent a good amount on a ticket and you mean to tell me that you won't serve coffee due to turbulence?? Turbulence is staple of every flight. What an excuse!!! American Airlines stinks! No tvs on any of the flights too."

Miinukset: "Where to start? How about when I checked in at the counter, I asked the check in attendant to add my FF number on my ticket. They said they'll get right to it, handed me my tickets and sent me on my way. It never happened. Not a big deal, I can request the mileage post flight, but still something. Look at my tickets, that I had booked a week in advance and specifically reserved an aisle seat. My ticket says "Priority Verification," whatever that means. Turns out it means you don't have a seat, and you get the worst of the worst. So what seat is the worst? How about the middle seat in a row of 5. The middle in a row of 5, on a transoceanic flight... What kind of airlines has 5 in a row? The guy next to me spent $300 for his ticket, I spent $1200, for the same flight, and this is the kind of seat I get? The plane felt like it was straight out of the 90's, carpeted center walls, old seats, tiny tv's. Overall, a plane that felt had not been updated in decades. Took 20 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to the flight attendant sign. This wasn't during beverage or food service, just a normal time at cruising altitude. They also don't have eye masks. Every other transoceanic flight I've been on has them provided in the seat pocket, American Airlines doesn't even have them on the plane! Economy class has no USB or power outlets, the in flight entertainment is about a 5" screen in probably 260p resolution. Decent selection of movies, but you have to join the movie in progress or wait approx 10 minutes for the next movie to start. Legroom was okay unless you had one of the entertainment boxes in your way, then that takes up 30% of your space. Some of the tray tables do not have cup holders, on the top, bottom, or anywhere on it. Also my table was tilted, so every time I put a cup on it, it slid right off. Seems like a minor complaint, but eating dinner and fighting a sliding cup the whole time is a pain. Dinner and breakfast tasted decent, but you can tell American is cheap on the food. Most airlines will give something like a main course, a bread roll, fruit cup/salad, juice, small dessert. American gives you the main course and a fruit cup and that is all. Crappy utensils too. Overall, if I had paid maybe $200 for the flight, I wouldn't have any room to complain, but because American holds the government carrier contract for FY17, I had to fly on them at exorbitant cost, and would never recommend them to anyone."

Miinukset: "The in-flight entertainment choices were lame. I suppose most people sleep on long flights. The food was not great. Mostly edible if you're really hungry. There was not enough room for everyone to put a carry on in an overhead bin. Luckily, I'm short and I keep mine under the seat."
Miinukset: "Apparently Finnair leases a Hilly plane and crew for this flight right now, so it wasn't quite the same."
