Miinukset: "My husband's passport expires in March of 2018, 4 months from travel dates and we weren't allowed to travel because it has to be 6 months. We booked our tickets in August of 2017, Turkish Airlines could've told us this. During booking, they ask for passport expiry date, what's the point if you're not going to tell us in advance and wait till our travel date to tell us this information. We couldn't travel on our vacation as planned and we were charged an additional $3,000 to change our tickets."

I got to see the flight crew handle a medical emergency and saw that they were well prepared, efficient, and concerned. The food and entertainment were fine. I felt like the seat space was better than on British which I often use. I had an empty seat next to me however. I was impressed that the flight crew moved a taller gentleman to a premium (exit) seat to accommodate his extra tall stature. He didn't ask, but they wanted him to be comfortable."

Also, flight attendants did not request people to sit up during meals which made eating very difficult in my case. 3. Bathrooms were very dirty during the last 1/3 of the flight and remained so, including no toilet paper and paper towels. 4. No second serving for refreshment beverages during flight."

The space between the rows of seats was much to tight, so I had to turn my legs to the side to fit into the space. I am 6'. However, I noticed that the row across from me had about 4" inches of additional space so I am thinking that the row I was on was set in error. This needs to be fixed. Also, they were much to late in turning on the air conditioning as we loaded and waited for takeoff."

Miinukset: "There was no air in our section of the plane. The entire flight from Houston to Istanbul was miserable. It was 85 degrees or higher, and every chance we got to complain to a flight attendant was met with dismissal. We were told they were trying to fix it, but really there's nothing they could have done, and they shouldn't have made it sound like if we just waited a little the problem would get fixed. Not only was it hot, but there was no actual air flow of any kind, and as a person with Asthma this was extremely uncomfortable. Our section was right behind the first class section, and the flight attendants kept trying to keep us separated with the curtains, even though the only way we were getting any air was from that cabin. We consistently requested them to leave the curtains open in the hopes that some air would make it's way to us, but there was little change. Some families with newborns were moved to first class, and some passengers were able to scout out and find other available seats throughout the plane, but for the majority of us in that section, we had no air, and were treated very poorly for as much discomfort as we were going through. There was no apology and little acknowledgement to the problem at hand and I felt personally very disrespected by the whole experience."

Miinukset: "Overall it was a good flight but since I was not familiar Turkish Air, there were some glitches. Although I'm not wheelchair bound, I have great difficulty walking distances with fear of falling. I was never offered some assistance by the Houston airport or the airline at this point. The seating on the plane is difficult to maneuver for a disabled person. The flight was OK except for cramped spaces. The flight left on time and that was good considering Houston had just gone through the hurricane."

Plussat: "I like the food in the air craft it was good, but the crew seemed not wanting to speak inglish The are more willing to serve turkish speakers, They were not even able to solve seat problem. that I and my next seat guy decided to solve the issue by offering our seats to them so that they can sit together, the crew spoke poor english and we were held up by that seat problem, ask that crew member they will tell you what happend, After we gave up our saets to random girls who were also angry about turkish airline, we were able to take off for nairobi And yes the coffee store by the cafe nero and nearly all business refused to give us a wifi And turkish airport offers wifi to only those who have a turkish phone number that is so very low Shame on turkish airline for treating us the give us a free rides we are their bussiness and we will make sure that we stop giving our bussness It looks like they took their customers for granted and we will just tollered it but I will not and many people whom I know will not It is simply desaster... 0% service from the time you come to the airport untill boading time I had to ask about 5 deffrent men to tell me if where I was terminal. One but none of them know what i was saying And at the time my flight was sopposed leave 7:50 so I was freaking out And no one helping at that crtical moment I finaly got the delay flight info after running somany times up and down the road"

Miinukset: "Staff at the gate and on the plane were rude. At the gate, I asked if there was an isle seat or an emergency row seat available (because I have long legs and long feet) and he said he would check and see. Well, he failed to inform me if any of the seats were available, so I sat in a window seat to Istanbul and a middle seat to Venice. I had to pay $160 for an extra bag to Venice. I asked if the airline allowed military members to check a third bag for free, I was laughed at, and told that US military members get charged more because we're not in the Turkish military. So as you can see, this trip started off horribly. My flight attendant seemed like she was having a horrible day because her attitude and customer service was bad."

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Miinukset: "The whole operation was shabbily done. Because of a Turkish airlines' flight delay, we wouldn't be able to make our connecting flight to Venice from Istanbul. So the agents booked me and my traveling companions on DIFFERENT flights the next day, long after we had paid to be getting to Venice. It took a long time and a lot of work on my part to get our tickets corrected to all be on the same flight, and the whole thing was very unprofessional. The lower price for Turkish airlines is not worth it when you have to spend an entire day of your vacation sitting in the Turkish Airlines airport hotel because Turkish Airlines can't properly get you to your destination on time."

Miinukset: "When I got Istanbul Ataturk Airport, they left me in baggage area with my wheel chair. I had to carry my two luggage through the exit door."
Plussat: "This was the best coach experience I've ever had. Food was great, tv screens were large, little bags with earplugs, slippers... were provided. Other airlines could take some pointers on how to treat passengers on long, overseas flights."

Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

Miinukset: "Seats were crammed in as close as possible. I've never had such little room on a flight this long. This is a really long flight, so I'd probably see if I could find a more comfortable airline next time, even if it cost me a little more cash."

I booked thru JUSTFLY.com for DELTA AIR PARTNER = AIR FRANCE. AIR FRANCE was late to IAH, my departure airport. THIS CAUSED ME TO MISS ALL MY CONNECTIONS. AFTER 7 PHONE CALLS to BOTH DELTA AIR (who partners with AIR FRANCE) and to JUSTFLY.com my FLIGHT CHANGE and REFUND were DENIED. HINT: Don't use DELTA. Don't use JUSTFLY.com --Dan (OCT. 2022)

First flight on Delta and I was impressed. Tickets are a little more expensive. However, great entertainment and they even offer complimentary earbuds. I think their economy seats are slightly better than other planes. Thumbs up for me!

On time to a t. The lead flight attendant Cameron was so kind helping us with luggage as we got on with our two little ones and then gave our son a treat as we headed off.

There was a storm brewing in NYC but you would never know it from the flight. Great experience and barely any turbulence considering the storm.

Just a standard Delta flight: comfortable, excellent flight attendants. We had a direct flight, seated in Delta Comfort Plus, so it had a lot going for it, nevertheless, it was a good flight…

Aisle was barely longer across than my foot, and the guy next to me was a bit bigger than average, leaving me to have to scrunch in my seat the whole flight. Lots of elbows, butts and hips knocking into my shoulders as people boarded."

The problem is that nothing can compete with the exit row for leg room and being crammed between two guys isn't an upgrade either. Plus, due to proximity, got sick. And the flight was delayed leaving - due to the late arrival from ATL (Delta HQ) which had a power outage. And no video entertainment. No meals."

Waited 7hs to talk to an agent in the airport. 24h wait in Atlanta had to sleep in airport. They wanted me to wait three days in atlanta. They forced me to check a carry on because they didn't have room in the plane. They told me my bag would arrive with my flight. It never did. I still dont have by only bag. Unbelievable."

Miinukset: "I don't get it.. why airlines have no pride? Tickets are expensive! Fuel is lately cheap.. a Don't get it.. why do they keep crying and act like poor helpless companies? You are connecting 2 major cities in the US... can you please have some pride and offer a Nice airplane and not a crappy old one? Can you have some service going beyond just a soda? It doesn't make sense! When you fly in Europe with any major airline company (not low cost..), no matter how long or short the flight is, minimum you get a sandwich and abundance of drinks.. not with Delta (or any other american airline company).. pontless. We always get treated like cattle.. but they like keeping the prices of tickets expensive, don't they???"

Miinukset: "I bought the tickets through a third party website. Therefore, our seats were not assigned until the last minute, and once they were assigned, they were published in a screen with our initials. This practice was discriminatory and violateed our rights for privacy, We even felt that it could put our security in risk. I believe that one thing is not to allow clients to choose seats in advace because they bought the ticket through a third party website, and another thing is to discriminate an treat those clients as "second class" people. When I asked the person in the counter for the reasons behind this practice, she could only say it was Delta's policy to do it that way. In that sense I was very surprised with the practice because i bought an Airfrance ticket (not a Delta one) and I had travelled before in both airlines (Airfrance and Delta) and I had never experienced a situation like the one described. I strongly believe that Delta needs to review this practice."

One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.

Service I have never gotten on an American airline!"

But she presented the two options to the fellow passenger behind us. We were extremely offended by the way we were treated. The airlines offers no entertainment for children as do other airlines. In fact, one air hostess went so far as to ask me to tell my Lil one to MUTE the volume of his ipad."

Obviously picked the salmon which was sitting on a bed of soggy rice and a dinner roll that was so cold, I could cool my drink with! It was also hard enough to use for self-defense. The entertainment system was so bad, the kid behind me was punching the screen!! It took me 5 minutes to wait for the screen to respond and it was not much larger than my phone. Again, miss Emirates-this will be my last flight on Lufthansa!!!"

Miinukset: "The flight was late in departing and then rerouted from Frankfurt to Manchester causing many passengers to loose connection. The reasongiven was a crew scheduling issue. Compensation upon arrival at Frankfurt was nil unless you asked and if you did you got an insulting 7 euros which barely even paid for coffee. No apology to people given just a "business as usual, it is your problem attitude". At arrival in Frankfurt there was a pass the buck attitude where any questions of connecting flights, and reroutes was forwarded to a Lufthansa counter that was NOT manned by anyone. Very frustrated."

Easiness

A l'enregistrement à punta cana il a fallut négocier pendant une heure et demander à parler à un responsable car la personne voulait nous faire payer nos deux bagages en soute 200 dollars alors qu'ils étaient compris dans notre réservation. Cela nous a fait perdre du temps avec notre petite fille de 3 ans. L'escale de 2h à New York est trop courte, les files d'attente sont très très longues pour le contrôle des passeports et aussi pour la douane. Il a fallut négocier avec beaucoup de personnes pour demander à passer devant, et aux États-Unis cette pratique n'est pas du tout appréciée, et tout ca avec ma fille dans les bras. Nous sommes arrivés 30 min avant le décollage àla porte d'embarquement, juste au moment de d'embarquer, mais le vol a finalement été retardé d'une heure. Et enfin nous avions demandé à été placés ensemble côté hublot, à l'enregistrement on nous a dit oui évidemment mais au premier vol on était même pas à côté ( il a fallut négocier encore une fois) et au deuxième nous étions dans la rangée du milieu. Bref ce voyage retour à été très stressant et épuisant !

Facilities for short connections.

Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.

Almost the only airline that offers free coffee and bread even in short 1 hour flights

Wi-Fi didn’t work. Boarding was totally confusing. Guy next to me took more then his area. Constantly touching me pushing on me. Had a bag blocking getting out. Almost fell. Crew didn’t help

Problems with the in-flight wi-fi (none) and the flight info (none). However, movies worked fine and the selection is exceptional.

Miinukset: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Just Wonderful

We were traveling with others who were on a connecting flight to Newark and were delayed. SAS were so helpful in getting them another flight Flight attendants were helpful and friendly. Plane was spotless and comfortable. Food was horrible.

Although we boarded late it was smooth and easy. Flight attendants were very pleasant.

This was a one hour trip before our main flight to LA so we didn’t expect much.

Such a wonderful comfortable flight!

The original flight was cancelled and were unable to connect to the SAS flight. There is NO SAS customer service on the weekends. Unbelievable. Now we are getting the run around on receiving a refund.

My suitcase did not arrive. Still waiting …..

The food was terrible and the crew didn’t speak any Scandinavian language and were very loud like on their own trip

Cleaning and customer service was excellent. I will travel again

I was told by the flight attendant that people in back of plane were freezing. The breakfast was good, but the dinner was ok, but not ‘I wish I could have seconds” good. I lowered the rating because they never gave us more than the one bottle of water that was on our seats when we arrived. That may have been ok for the people in the cold part of the plane but not for us in the sweating part. Luckily we had brought a big bottle of water."

Miinukset: "No overhead fan. When flight got really hot, no way to moderate temperature. No choice of food at all, unless you are in economy plus. I don't remember the last time that a trans-Atlantic flight had at least a meant, or fish, or vegetarian dish. Usually, at least two or three dishes. On SAS, everything has to be ordered ahead of time. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, some not so friendly. No free alcoholic drinks even with dinner. Limited regular drinks - they are only served with food, aside from that you have to purchase even the non-alcoholic drinks. The food just wasn't very good, even compared to other airline food. Compared to other companies, relatively small selection of entertainment. I had considerably more choice on a domestic flight than on a 9 hr. international SAS flight. Storage pockets at the seat are pretty small."

Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."
