Miinukset: "7:05am Flight got cancelled and they saw fit to rebook us on a 20:30pm flight.. decided to reroute us to anotjer city in canada and down to a different airport in DC Lost my luggage from time i checked it it at 0500am yo time dflight was cancelled and rebooked at 0700. And to fike claim and travrl without jt. Worst experience ever."
Miinukset: "Air Canada is always late in my experience. I always end up waiting at the gate for the inbound flight which happens to be late. It is so annoyingly dishonest, considering that the flight is announced as on-time up until minutes before the departure time. When all along they know the incoming flight is late. After we boarded the plane at origin, we spent 15 minutes at the gate and quite a bit on the runway. When nearing the DCA, the plane took a complete detour went near Baltimore and then Annapolis and then flew back to near Gaithersburg as if it was intentionally wasting time on the air. Upon landing in DCA we had to wait 15 minutes on the taxiway waiting for the gate to clear. The (one hour long) flight that was scheduled to land at 10:20pm landed just before midnight. Air Canada is awful. This happens every time I fly with Air Canada and their conduct is just cheap and dishonest."

Miinukset: "Small plane not alot of storage space. Can carry small bags on board."
Miinukset: "Since my flight was delayed from calgary I had to sleep overnight to catch a morning flight. To my inconvenience I had to wait to have my seat assigned at the gate. I asked the rep at the gate to please have an aisle seat but she asked me to wait as she will call my name for seat assignments later. As I waited like she called many names and not mine, i again reminded her that she didnt call mine and she then just gave me my boarding pass without even apologizing that shr had put me in a middle seat. I told her i cant sit im a middle seat i need am aisle because I go to the bathroom often. she coldly said. "no more aisle seats". bad experience with ground staff in general as this is not the first time."
Plussat: "the cew was nice"
Miinukset: "The terminal had no food options at all when we were in a very delayed flight and hungry. We were not given seats ahead of time and therefore were assigned the last row which was very uncomfortable and could not recline. No one was at the desk to help with the seats for a Very long time. The boarding process was not good."
Plussat: "The crew at the gate were courteous and handled my inquiry professionally. Did not experience much because I slept through the whole thing. But the seat was comfortable."
Miinukset: "Air Canada receptionist (a blonde lady) at Logan took care of luggage poorly while checking in. She was impatient and threw my luggage like it was trash."

Miinukset: "If you're about to serve continental breakfast it doesn't mean that one little sweet pastry is doing that. Not good!"

Miinukset: "As per delaying of Cathy Dragon flight, I missed the flight back to Canada. Can you please give me a hand?"
Plussat: "They afford a civil and enhanced trip on an Express flight. Something AA and other airlines consistently fail to do."
Plussat: "Boarding was smooth, considering there were just over two hundred passengers to manage. The crew was excellent: responsive, courteous and proactive. Entertainment: Overall plenty of options though some were dated. Food: surprisingly good, and COMPLIMENTARY. Didn't have to pay extra."
Miinukset: "Coach is CRAMPED. And on a 14-hour flight, that's important.."
Plussat: "The flight was half empty so was able to have a role to myself"
Miinukset: "Air Canada Rouge should be renamed Air Canada Rude. Employees are very un-friendly; Seat design on the plane is the most uncomfortable of any airline out there. Very close to each other and very little padding on cushion of seat. Dirty plane; don’t think they serviced it between flights, garbage in each seat pouch. Very cold on flight, crew did not regulate the climate control. Too many unnecessary announcements both in English then French. Each announcement seemed like it lasted about 10 minutes which no one listen. So much for trying to watch a movie that pauses every time the crew feels the needs to talk. Sat at gate for 30 minutes pass departure time without any explanation until right before we departed (waiting on passengers from late arriving flights). At lease they could have told us. Anyhow this is not the Air Canada of old. Air Canada Rouge shows no signs that they care about the comfort of their passengers."
Plussat: "The crew was friendly and helpful. The plane had open seats which allowed for greater comfort."
Miinukset: "None of the audio jacks were functional with my headphones. Only purchasable headphones worked (tried several seats and asked other passengers - they had problems too)."
Miinukset: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."
Plussat: "I had a wonderful service. The airline changed flight for me when my scheduled flight delayed. So I could arrive in Vancouver on time. Thanks."
Plussat: "Flights all deprt s and arrived on time which allowed us to make our connections. A bonus is the flight attendant was pleasant Air Canada Concierge was a real help this entire trip"
Miinukset: "Our luggage did not arrive with us."

Miinukset: "Our flight from Toronto to Washington DC was delayed for no apparent reason. We were not told of this delay until 45 minutes after boarding time was supposed to begin. Good communication would have helped with this issue."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed. Announcement was made at the last minute. There wasn't enough space for carry-on luggage, mostly because the flight crew let people hog space leaving less for everybody else."

Miinukset: "I was supposed to be home on a Sunday. That I didn't arrive until the follow Tuesday should tell you something. My adventure included: 2 cancelled flights, one drastically oversold flight, being given a hotel room without a working toilet, hours spent waiting at the airport for information from gate agents who never showed up, and being curtly told that, as a passenger who didn't arrive on a connecting flight, on my second night I would not be given a hotel room, but instead a mat to sleep on in the airport. I did finally get a hotel room—this time with a working toilet"
Plussat: "Once I actually got on the rebooked flight, everything went great."
Miinukset: "I get it, weather happens, but airlines should have figured out by now how to make any issues that come from that as painless as possible. Air Canada did not have it together. There was little communication and coordination. People had to wait multiple times in ungodly long lines while agents spent way too much time with each customer. There was misinformation and lack of information given by agents and at times no one to help at all. When there's weather it should be all hands on deck until the effected customers get to where they need to be. Otherwise it's an aggravating and nearly intolerable experience. Commercial airlines have been around for 60+ years - figure it out already."
Miinukset: "The fight had intercom problems and that delayed us for 5+ hours with no decision as to the resolution. We finally got home at 4 AM ...."
Plussat: "Crew was friendly helpful."

Plussat: "The pilots were EXTREMELY polite, informing us through the intercom why everything is delayed. SUPER flight through the rain!!! FANTASTIC PILOTS!"
Miinukset: "We were Stuck INSIDE the plane for an hour. If there is a delay either offer a refreshments or let us go back inside the air port and get a refreshments. The crew were unprofessional, i travel enough and this crew was the worst I have seen. On top they offered No hot beverages. Upon my request of a simple cup Of coffee the flight attendant said, NO, ask if I wanted a coke. It is great that he is giving me an alternative but he can simply appogize that he has not made any coffee and be sincere about it. TERRIBLE service all together. We all in the plane have appointments that now we are late to, crew showed no concern."

Miinukset: "The departure time for the flight was 6:00am and there was no one in the check in counter until 4:15am. There was a long queue for the check in. Not a pleasant waiting time for the check in"
Miinukset: "The flight from Toronto to Washington DC was delayed for more than 3 hours and there was not even a drink offered for the inconvenience."
Plussat: "Quick boarding. Great with children."
Miinukset: "Multiple confusing security processes at airport. Huge lines. Flight delayed twice."
Plussat: "The crew and their sincere attitude to be of help. Wonderful team of professionals."
Miinukset: "One hour delay, which was very tiring for someone who already had gone through the 9 hour flight torture from Athens. The Global Entry for US bound passengers procedure is very confusing. Maybe it would help if the steps were communicated on the US bound passengers before disembarking. First the passport process (easy) then there is this confusing process where we need to see our names in green on the screen, with some staff telling us to move on while others insist that we need to stay back and wait for our names to go green on screens that keep changing. Good idea and intentions to help clear bags, and can be improved. Overall the Montreal to DC flight (with the exception of the awful Montreal airport and the long delay) was excellent."

Miinukset: "Food is awful and the seats are the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered!"
Miinukset: "My original flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems and then agent got me in a other flight to Newark which was the last one to NY and then there was a delay of at least 1hr to take off. Most likely, I will not travel with air canada again and I'm not recommending to friends since they are always delay with their flights."
Plussat: "The seating was alright."
Miinukset: "When we arrived at SFO the computer system was not working and it took forever to check in. Then we had delays after that. Our entertainment screens were also not working on our way there."

Miinukset: "First leg cancelled after we sat on plane for two hours. Missed connection, arrived 24 hours late. Air Canada provided excellent hotel and meal vouchers, however"
Miinukset: "I arrived at the airport and attempted to check in at 11:17, 58 minutes before my flight was schedule to depart, having just rushed to the airport from my father's bedside in the hospital. I purchased a ticket on this flight because I absolutely needed to be back in New York City by 2:30 pm today - otherwise, I wouldn't have left. When I attempted to use the kiosk to check in, my booking reference number couldn't be found, despite repeated attempts. When I approached a customer service agent to check in manually, I was simply told that I could not - I was not offered any reason other than that I was "too late" and not offered any alternative. I asked to speak with a supervisor who attempted to clear me for check in seeing as I had no bags to check and have a Global Entry card, but was told by the agent that I spoke with that the flight was over booked and so there were now no longer any seats available. I asked to speak with the supervisor in person, and was told she was on her way, but 15 minutes later she was nowhere to be seen and time was ticking. While the first agent was completely unhelpful, and never offered to rebook me on another flight, another agent helped me by giving me a boarding pass for the next flight and told me she was putting me on standby for the flight I originally purchased the ticket for. I got to the gate in plenty of time to board my original flight, but was told that I wasn't on the standby list and there were simply no seats left on the flight - even though I purchased one which should have been held for me until 10 minutes before departure as is the policy for every other airline as far as I am aware. I am beyond frustrated that due to Air Canada's overbooking the airline used the excuse that I arrived 58 minutes before my flight to give the ticket I purchased away to someone else, with no consideration for me as a customer. The extremely poor customer service I received only added insult to injury. I am completely stumped as to how Air Canada could possibly be the only airline in North America with a 4 star rating when I have consistently experienced overbooking, flight cancellations, and abysmal customer service, including 30 minute wait times to speak to an agent, an inability to check in online for international travel, topped off by poor in flight service, when traveling Air Canada. I have never before complained but am doing so in this case because today's experience truly put me over the top when the airline's blatant disregard for my circumstances and needs as a customer and overbooking practices went beyond causing annoyance and inconvenience. I am therefore requesting a full refund of the ticket I purchased only to be bumped off the flight I paid for."
Miinukset: "I am a visitor to Canada n travelling by myself, I do not carry cell phone and had no way to communicate these last minute changes to people coming to pick me up. Flight was overbooked n they bumped me off to a later flight. Then the airline lost my luggage and I was sent pillar to post to report it."

Plussat: "Terrible, only one spot open, long lines. We missed boarding and were forced to wait 4 hours after already 10 hours travel. No help and no mercy at the custom area."
