Miinukset: "Checking in was a nightmare of inefficiency. I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-"
Plussat: "The seats were comfy and the pilots were skilled, food was average."
Miinukset: "The handles in between the seats could've been better by being able to be completely raised."
Plussat: "The crew was amazing, friendly and on-top of it. the filght was great. I was next too a large, smelly man and that affected my flight, but that was out of the airline crew's control made the flight a bit uncomfortable."
Miinukset: "Not to be seated next to a large man and a child behind me kicking my seat. Again, items out of your control. There is one item, and that is, I forgot to request a vegan food option and it would have been nice to have one last minute even though I did not request it."
Plussat: "Fell asleep and didn’t even realise. Finnair is very friendly and the staff are super nice. I was very thirsty and asked for two cups of water instead of one and the lady was not hesitant to give me two cups in quick succession. Very good air company"

Miinukset: "Finnair had the worst leg room I've ever had in 50 years of traveling. It was so TIGHT that my knees were pressing up agains the seat in front of me the whole 8 hours of flight, even though I am only 5'7"! I felt really sorry for those passengers who were taller. Finnair also lost my checked in bag and delivered it 36 hours later without providing any compensation. Coming back the flight was delayed due to mechanical reasons, which caused a number of passengers miss connecting flights. This is one of the things that can happen to any airline, but only Finnair failed to provide an agent to take care of the passengers who missed their flights. So, after a 2 hour delay and 7 hours of traveling in the air, the stranded passengers had to find an agent in JFK who would rebook their flights. One of the worst traveling experiences. Will never travel Finnair again!"

Miinukset: "The plane landed much later than expected, and I missed my connecting flight to Moscow. While I was given another boarding pass, I had to have another layover in St. Petersburg, and fly to Moscow from there. The flight turned out to be much longer, and much more exhausting. My overall experience was unpleasant."
Miinukset: "My luggage didn't arrive to Helsinki and has been two days since I have inform and they said it was going to come the next flight but didn't sent it. I have been two days with the same cloths and no cleaning products, so disappointing they don't seem to care of all the inconvenience I have been experiencing."

Miinukset: "Ran out of food options from SFO to HEL. I was sitting towards the end of the plane ... and no more chicken so got stuck with the pork and mashed potatoes options. Need more coffee aboard the flight. ANA cleans the bathroom periodically, and wouldn't be bad to do the same on long flights. The arm rest between seats don't go all the way up, only half way. If the person in front of you is asleep during meal service, the FA (flight attendant) won't lift the seat and it may be a very uncomfortable meal experience. Other airlines will have the FA do it themselves. ...and you need to be careful about staying awake to get food (otherwise you can get forgotten)."

Plussat: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."
Miinukset: "As for the downside, I had no significant disappointments on the long leg of my flight on Finnair. I hope my return flights will be just as good."

The plane seemed comfortable but the seats sit too far back, so when the person in front of me sat his seat back, his head was almost in my lap. It made it hard for me to move or read or do anything. The food was super bland and the drink options were pretty limited. The entertainment selection was much more limited than most flights."

Plussat: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Miinukset: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."
Plussat: "I was able to log on the my booking and select aisle seats for no additional cost (surprisingly). Made the short flight much more comfortable."
Plussat: "I really enjoyed the ease of boarding and how smooth the flight went. The airline crew was friendly and the food was great."
Miinukset: "I wish that I was informed ahead of time that SAS GO LITE flights do not include check-in baggage. I ended up paying $109 instead of $60 because I was unaware that the fees change the day of departure. This upset me."

Miinukset: "Disorganized boarding. People were jumping the line saying they were in the zone that was called when they couldn’t have been. I was there early (one of the 1st) but because I’m polite and only approached the gate when my zone was called, ended up at the back. More monitoring of this would help because I saw other people bothered by this."
Miinukset: "It would be better if the plane was cleaned before boarding. The row where I was seated has potato chips all over the floor. Pls. clean your plane before boarding."

J had two hours between flights and because of total mismanagement in immigration I missed my flight to atlanta. Totally unacceptable. I might not even get on the ten pm flight."

Miinukset: "I had requested an aisle seat and on both flights to and from Stockholm and Chicago had to sit on the very last row in the middle seat between 2 people who seemed to exceed the "weight allowance" that seem so important now when you flight unless you spend a lot a money on the ticket and it then becomes irrelevant !!"

Miinukset: "We didn't have a flight. Our flight was canceled at the airport. We were told 10-15 minutes after our boarding time that there would be a delay, but we should check back in 45 minutes. So, we never made it to Stockholm to take that flight back home."
Plussat: "I loved that there were a lot of different movies, TV shows, games, music, and more to choose from- all for free! Then there was a dinner- not bad at all-, a snack later on, and breakfast too, all included. Headphones if you needed them ( lifesaver there as I had temporary misplaced mine), a blanket, and a pillow. The crew was really polite, and there was never more than one person in line for the bathroom."

Miinukset: "Food taste is terrible. They did accommodate us in getting vegetarian diet. However, online means to do this was impossible. Choices were not provided when we tried to do seat selection. In fact the web site gave wrong information that there are no meals offered even for the selection of the transatlantic flights. Toll free number calls were put on hold over an hour without success. Eventually chat worked. In the flight segment within Europe they do not even offer water for free. Charging 3 Euros for a small can of water/soda is a rip off."
Miinukset: "The screaming children. All. The. Yelling. Kids. Also it was an inferno in there. if it's a packed house and customers are standing in the aisles, do us a favor and crank the AC."
Plussat: "Boarding was easy, I'm a Star Alliance Gold member so was able to get on board first. There were significant delays leaving Dulles and our connection was tight, but SAS held the flight so I give them props for that."
Miinukset: "The crew was grumpy and unhelpful, but I can usually overlook that. What really got me was this: YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR BEER & WINE ON THIS INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT! Never in my 25 years of international travel have I seen this from a mainstream carrier. For this fact alone, I will never fly this airline again. You also have to pay to pick your seats in advance."
Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Miinukset: "Our checked bag was delayed for a very long time. It came out 15 minutes after our baggage carrousel claimed all the bags from our flight were completed. My wife was obviously extremely concerned and it started our honeymoon off on a more stressful note than it had to be."
Plussat: "Everything was great! At check-in I upgraded to SAS plus. Will choose that again.comfortable, crew was so nice and friendly. Food was amazing. Made my 10 hour flight great. ."

Miinukset: "Going over our flight was cancelled at the last minute. We paid more for a non-stop flight we did not receive, lost wages because we both worked half-days to accommodate this flight departure time, and lost half a day of our trip. When we did fly on SAS to return, I found the service and amenities lacking. Why serve drinks well before your meal time and then not come back through with drinks again? Overall, it was not the best flight experience."

Plussat: "From checkin, to boarding, to the fly, to luggage collection - the staff were all friendly and helpful and the whole experience was without issue. The flight was comfortable, leaving a touch late and arriving 10 minutes early. I have no complaints at all and would be happy to fly Iberia Express again."
Miinukset: "If I had to find one thing that wasn't so good - it was the time it took for everyone to put their carry-on luggage in the overhead lockers although this is not the airline's issue but became their issue because it meant the boarding process took a while. As mentioned - only a minor issue."

Miinukset: "The boarding was a cattle care, atrociously organized, took forever. They were asking the better part of ten dollars for headphones. No way to get a drink, as with the trip over, the chairback screens didn't work, and they never notified me by e-mail that you had to order food in advance. Not even a glass of water available on a 7 hour flight, that's actually a health hazard, should be illegal. No coffee or tea. The window seat I paid up for was about 8 inches from the window, so I couldn't even lean my head there. No in-flight magazines, or handing out newspapers , no entertainment available, just sitting there uncomfortably for 7 hours while the attendants huddled behind drawn and velcro'ed curtains doing nothing. A true disgrace. Avoid Iberia and their LEVEL subsidiary like the plague. Unacceptable in every way....and at least Ryan Air and WOW are cheap, this flight was full price. Total rip-off, never again."

Miinukset: "Very hard to get any information about connective flights. I had 1 hour between the flights and I asked the assistant at the passport control to help me to get through, she said that everyone needs to stay in the same line. I pushed myself through, which I never do, and run all the way to the gate, and hardly made my flight. It is very hard to get any information because most employees don't speak English. I will never fly with Iberia again. I would rather pay more and fly with another company. I was very upset about my flying experience."

They fasten seat belt sign was on way way too long with no turbulence so they did not have to open the bar. They would not serve vodka from the cart and you needed to go to the back of the aircraft for it. Will not fly Iberia again. ."
Miinukset: "Too little time to connect with another flight at Heathrow. Missed my connecting flight. Why is there an additional security checkpoint at Heathrow when you've already been thru security at another airport? Poor design for international arrivals."
Plussat: "Great selection of movies and the food wasn't too bad."
Miinukset: "The guy in the same row as me took off his shoes and used the remaining seats between us as a bed. I thought it was rude and disgusting and showed a lack of spacial awareness. Blankets were not very soft. Also, one of the flight attendants was really struggling to push any of the trolleys, running into the arm rests of the seat."
Plussat: "The crew members where very helpful throughout the flight with whatever I needed."

Miinukset: "The aircraft has air condition problem and they whole flight was extremely HOT!!!! Cabin crew paid very little attention to this until we were 4 hours into the flight and basically said there is nothing I can do. I call for the head of the cabin crew and she took 2 hours to come talk to me. I had to wait for here to come out from her flight nap in the crew quarters."

Miinukset: "I reserved seats at purchase but the air Europa app did not recognize my seat selections and we ended up being seated at random. The boarding was just line up and board there wasn't any announcing or organizing by row or otherwise. We eventually all got on and ended up at the same place, it was just chaotic."

Miinukset: "My plane took off 45 minutes late and no one told the passengers (in English at least) why we were leaving so late (and I still don't know). After about 20 minutes of waiting for takeoff, I pressed the button to ask a flight attendant why we were leaving so late but no one would come up to me, so I had to flag a flight attendant down when she walked by and she only stayed long enough for me to ask her when we were leaving. I also wanted to buy a snack on the plane and the same flight attendant who had answered my question before snapped at me about using a credit card when I accidentally gave her my debit card. Normally, I'm not one to complain about these types of things and this situation definitely could have been much worse, but I think it's important that any delays are communicated to passengers."

Miinukset: "We had to board this plane the old fashion way on the runway carrying your bags and everything. Very uncomfortable and no help. It also was very disappointed to be charged €60 per each piece of luggage returning to Madrid even though they had not charged for the same luggage coming into our destination. The lady at the counter was very cut and dry and was not helpful at all. This was a round trip, no explanation on the overcharged is acceptable. Kayak should warn their customers if luggage charges are going to be added."
Plussat: "I want a refund of 450 euros...i had to pay for my baggage...i paid 1.184 us dollars for my tickets...and was supposed to be free hand bag and first bag free...how was printed in the tickets you sent me.. If it WAS disclosed it certainly wasn't in plain site on the mobile app. I checked back on the app to see if I had missed it disclosed somewhere but I still couldn't see it. So it's almost false advertising. Kayak should protect its users. Also, our checked bag that we paid the extra money for arrived late! After our flight was delayed over an hour by the way! Kayak should protect its customers better. Or at least make sure they're informed"

Miinukset: "Our flight from Barcelona on Air Europa took off late (because they shuttle you out in groups of 40 to the tarmac to board the plane). We arrived in Madrid and about 37 Boston bound passengers had to make a mad dash through the airport from terminal E to terminal A... a 22 minute dash. When we landed there was already "final boarding" listed. ( It would have been nice if the told us they would/could hold the plane). afyer our sweaty group arrived, we were stuck on the tarmac an additional 55 minutes because of traffic."
Plussat: "One attendant took care of an infant while a mother was suffering from a nose bleed."
Miinukset: "Air Europa check in was at area 2, furthest corner of Zurich airport; no sign of which section of check in area 2 (1 through 5) the airline check in seciton is. You have to walk the entire area (seems like a whole separate terminal) to find the counters which were combined with 6 other airlines. Took only 20 minutes. Then to the opposite corner of the airport to board the plane to Madrid. WOW!"

Plussat: "On our way to CCS-Madrid the crew was wonderful, i'd pay with my debit US card with any issues, then when we came Rome to Madrid, the crew was wonderful."

When I told the crew there was no more toilet tissue in the bathrooms halfway through the flight, they did nothing. I took a round trip, first flight, barely room for my legs, the second flight, in the bigger plane, was fine."

Since I've never had to do that before, I wasn't expecting it, and oversused an injured knee resulting in having to use a wheelchair the rest of the trip"

Miinukset: "I had to sleep on the cold airport floor by myself because every hotel close to the airport was full. Those 5 minutes late caused me a very miserable next 24 hours sitting at the airport."

Plussat: "The flight was scheduled for 10:30pm and left at 1:30am, causing many passengers, including myself, to miss our connections- there was no assistance and no explanation. The seat spacing is very tight and seats are uncomfortable. One of my worst flight experiences."

Plussat: "There was a medical situation on board. The crew kept us informed as to why we were delayed and updated us on the situation and when we would be leaving. A dispute between two passengers was solved by the steward wisely moving one of the parties involved."

Miinukset: "The crew did not even acknowledge me on the flight as I did not prepay for their $45 hot meal. I couldn’t even catch their attention. This was only my second international flight but the first offered free meals and beverages to all passengers. I won’t fly Norwegian air again. At least they had in air entertainment. What a lousy 13 hour flight. $45 for airplane food? $3 water? Get outta here with that."

Miinukset: "I bought the ticket at the last minute and couldn't pre-pay for luggage or food. The food cost me and my companion $50 for sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Even water and soda is $3 for a small can. If you want a blanket, they charge, if you want anything, they charge. Luggage was over $80. Just pay more for a different airline, it will be less."
Miinukset: "Boarding at jfk was a shambles as there were o announcements as to why we were being delayed. Once on board it was ok very cramped seating but at least the crew were pleasant. Having read some reviews early I agree I think that if you have a good flight crew then at least your flight will be ok if not then it will be unpleasant. It wasn’t a cheap flight for a budget airline and will endeavour never to fly with them again."

Miinukset: "1. Flight attendants except for a couple, were not interested in helping passengers or answering questions 2. For the basic fare (which I didn’t realise I was even purchasing), you had to pay extra for a seat and for luggage, on long haul transatlantic! 3. I wasn’t offered food or beverage once on the 8 hour trip 4. You had to purchase a blanket if you wanted one. Everyone was wearing their coats onboard. It almost felt like they were intentionally keeping the temperature cold to induce passengers to purchase blankets. When I requested they raise the temperature, I was told that this was the warmest they could make it and this is the warmest on any plane. (Obviously not true. I fly every month and have mostly found plane temperatures to be manageable.) Oh, and did I mention how you had to pay to check luggage on a transatlantic flight!!"

Norwegian is the only airline that does NOT allow travel agencies to access reservations — meaning should any issue arise, the travel agency will be calling the same Norwegian line that you would, with even less power than you would normally have yourself. Never fly Norwegian if you don't like the sound of 8 hour delays and lost baggage that require a rescheduled flight home — because they will insist on charging you exactly what you paid for the first ticket, claiming there's a "fare difference" when in fact there is none at all. Outright. Theft. Phone operators will not transfer you to their supervisor; online request for problem resolution has not been answered in over two weeks. If you think nothing will ever go wrong with air travel and you want the cheapest seat possible, fly Norwegian every time."
Plussat: "Flying on Norwegian Air it appears one has to go online and Pre register to receive water and a small snack. If not, flight attendants rudly pass you and when pressed to explain why you can't even get water they say, "next time register". I will but not on Norwegian Air."
Plussat: "Its very cheap! But its a typical no-frills airline that doesn't give you food, extra leg room, etc."
Miinukset: "There was nothing overtly negative about this flight - you just don't get the nice "extra" things that you'd get if you paid more for your flight."
