I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."
Miinukset: "Seat in front of me was mostly lowered in a position that caused an uncomfortable force against my knees. My neighbor had to place his knees in my sitting area for the very same reason. Otherwise everything was great."

Miinukset: "The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start."

Miinukset: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."

In "biz class" you still had to rub elbows with your neighbor, something other airlines with newer planes have sorted out, but allowing extra space between seats.... but overall, for a short flight (not much longer than an average subway commute in NYC), it really was not a huge deal...."

I know that it could get chilly at the board and do take warm clothes with me just in case, but this was way too cold. Neither blanket nor my stuff helped. Another thing - I was sitting in the raw 50, and at the 49th raw crew ran out of chicken with only pasta left. ))) This happens, I get it. I've had it actually happened to me before on British Airways flights too couple of times. So it's not too big of a deal. I just wish that pasta tasted better)))"

Miinukset: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

Plussat: "The shorter flight to Zurich was on a smaller plane than the overseas one, but I'm not sure what model. It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

Plussat: "Brand new A350 business class was excellent - far better than tired old BA planes. Great IFE and food and beverage service. Excellent cabin crew aervice. Overall, thoroughly good from start to finish (Finnish?)."

It also took a very long time to get a hotel assignment because I was stuck in Chicago overnight. The finnair air agents at ohare were not very understanding or helpful. I was sent from their line to American Airlines and then back again. They were slow. We waited in the line for a long time for someone to come and help us. overall they were not very apologetic regarding the fact that I was stuck there overnight. It took soooo long to get to the hotel. I arrived there well after midnight. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER. NO LAYOVER TIME IN BETWEEN MEANS MISSED CONNECTIONS! THIS HAPPENED BOTH WAYS ON MY TRIP. VERY ANNOYING"

Miinukset: "We had a very rude male flight attendant that argued with us when they didn't have a vegetarian meal for my wife even though we checked that box when buying our tickets. My wife ate two bread rolls for dinner before the next meal 7 hours later. Later, when the second meal was served, he muttered a smart assed reply to my wife after he handed her food to her. After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."

Plussat: "On a long haul flight, when I bought my ticket, Kayak advertised entertainment on my long haul flights. There was none on this flight! Seata were extremely uncomfortable."

Plussat: "WOW went out of business before our flight, and Kiwi handled our transfer very poorly, promising things they never delivered. Agents in Prague were infinitely more helpful and straight forward."

They didn't even try to hide that they don't care - some of the seats were off color! Clearly recycled from some aircraft junkyard!"

We had to overpay for awful junk food. One of the worst experiences flying...doubt will book Norwegian ever again."
Miinukset: "They forced me to check my bag leaving JFK. Charged me $250 to check it and then proceeded to lose my bag. They have since refused to refund my money. Don't ever fly this airline"

Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."
Plussat: "The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boarding process was fast and efficient. The crew was very fast in their response time especially when food was ordered. The entertainment was probably my favorite part of the ride because it helped pass the time."

Miinukset: "The cabin crew didn't have any personality, and didn't look happy most of the time, a smile goes along way. When you look for a cost effective flight especially when flying with family including 2 young children you think it is good that the flight costs were quite good, however when you add in the additional baggage fees each way and the reserving you seats so you can all sit together the overall flight costs including the extortionate food prices on board makes them out to be much the same if not higher than that of one of the premium airlines that already include all those things in your flight cost. Not to mention when arriving home in Boston around 40 passengers bags had been left in London and there was NO Norweign staff available to help with this, it tool numerous requests from passengers as well as the flight services people to get a Norweign member of staff to come and help. SO there were a lot of unhappy passengers. I will be seriously considering whether i use Norweign any more in the future because of this."
Plussat: "787 Aircraft is nice. Decent selection of in-flight entertainment options. The main reason to fly Norwegian is low cost."
Miinukset: "Boarding was delayed 30 min because Norwegian isn't very well organized. The boarding lounge at Gatwick has half the capacity of the aircraft, so people were packed in to a tiny space until boarding actually started. In-seat USB charger didn't work."

Miinukset: "No complementary water tea or coffee. That is very basic for any flight over six hours. It was a big surprise to pay $45 for each seat in order to reserve ahead of time. We traveled as a family of five. Not so cheap as advertised will think twice next time."
Plussat: "The entertainment were a good selection but if they can give specific season and episode that would be great because I want to be able to watch an episode in order."
Miinukset: "I didn’t like how when I was holding my cup of hot water. A crew member walking very fast down the aisle pushed my hand and splash water onto my lap. That didn’t make my 8 hour flight back to NYC very nice."
Miinukset: "Broken seat, no movies "they didn't download", we were promised a drink as a lame compensation for a 7 hour flight with no entertainment. Drink offer was rescinded to no alcohol. You have to buy everything you need and there are extra checkpoints at every possible juncture to weigh bags, check status and docs. Not worth the small savings."
Plussat: "Flying on Norwegian Air it appears one has to go online and Pre register to receive water and a small snack. If not, flight attendants rudly pass you and when pressed to explain why you can't even get water they say, "next time register". I will but not on Norwegian Air."

Miinukset: "this flight had wifi, but no USB ports to charge your devices. was a joke even the flight crew thought was dumb to offer service on plan with no charge ports."
Miinukset: "I ordered red wine from the screen, waited 45 minutes, and then, because I hadn't used that system before, got up and inquired about it. The flight attendants looked like I was bothering them and just told me I had to wait. I said ok no problem. An hour and a half later, still no wine. I got up to ask about it and they, again, looked annoyed, doubted that I had ordered it, looked it up on their computer, and gave it to me eventually without any apology whatsoever. The most unfriendly staff I have had on an airplane. I understand it's a budget airline, but there is no need for that poor level of service."

We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("

They used the seatbelt light to keep people sat down during each trolley service - come on, it there’s turbulence, you don’t serve drinks. Oh and I don’t know why they are allowed to say “Low fares airline” as it clearly isn’t."

Plussat: "Staff were good - even the cabin crew member who was still training was friendly and professional. Landing was incredibly smooth. The pilot also dealt very well with the turbulence and was able to predict it so the seatbelt sign already came on before any trouble."
Miinukset: "Even by budget airline standards, Ryanair is mediocre at best. The chairs are uncomfortable for a 4 1/2 hour flight - manageable, maybe, for a shorter journey but not anywhere good enough for that length of time. Boarding took an unusually long time and even priority passengers were stood around waiting to get onboard a good 15 minutes or so after already having gotten into the jetway. Not to mention after landing, we were stood over an hour waiting for baggage because, for some reason, four different flights used the same carousel (and presumably only had one team getting baggage off all four planes) despite there being a second one free which I'm sure they could have easily used. Don't have four planes landing near concurrently if you don't have the facilities to deal with it. Ryanair is cheap, yes, but by the time you have to pay ridiculous amounts for things most other airlines consider normal (for starters, you can't even take a full size hand luggage bag on board without priority boarding), it adds up to being less "budget" than it would have been to fly with a higher end airline like British Airways and you'd have to be an idiot to choose Ryanair over a cheaper, higher quality, airline. Honestly, I have no idea how people choose Ryanair more than once in their lifetime."
Miinukset: "Excessive time to pass security, opening every bags, we were 30 passengers not able to board because Ryan Air agent didn’t wait and closed the door right in front of us when we arrived at the gate."

Miinukset: "Small and uncomfortable airplane. No organization for boarding. They charge a 50€ fee if you don’t check in online, but the online app also purposefully separates passengers so you have to purchase seats together. So many fee charges not worth the aggravation."

Miinukset: "Changed gate three times , 1 1/2 hrs late. Not accurate times given when it changed. On ground staff could have done better. System of boarding- all for themself created at least extra 20 min. Should board by rows"
Miinukset: "On both flights we were called tbrough for boarding only to be kept queueing for over half an hour before actually boarding the plane. On the flight to East Midlands when everyone was on board we were then told due to an air traffic restriction we had to wait another 45 minutes before we could take off. On the return flight after queueing for half an hour only after I asked why we had waited so long were we told that the plane HADN't EVEN LANDED YET. So both flights were delayed with no explanation from anyone. Also all announcements on both flights were very difficult to hear above the engine noise. I am afraid that this experience has made me realise that I will NEVERTHELESS fly with Ryanair again. I would rather pay the extra and fly with a better airline."

Miinukset: "Boarding time kept changing. I stood in line from 2:47 until I finally took my seat on the plane at 4:03!! If you are not checking luggage and the plane is full as was the case, you are made to stand in line because only the first 90 carry ons are guaranteed. The heat in the boarding area was unbearable. Then we proceeded to the boarding tunnel where we were made to wait AGAIN in the heat. I felt like a hostage packed into a tin can! Never in 50 years of air travel around the world have I experienced such an inefficient process. I will never fly Ryan Air again."
Plussat: "everything on this flight went like clockwork the flight left on time and the crew onboard were really helpful and pleasant"

Miinukset: "Me on row 2 ...wife row 18. All because we didn't pay 'extra' for seats that we had already paid for in the price of a flight! So, basically, if you don't pay, then Ryanair purposely separate couples in punishment. As a frequent flier, this was the very last time myself and my family will be using Ryanunfair!"
Miinukset: "I didn't like that the originally fairly cheap price became higher and higher to provide minimal comfort and service. 30-35 euros per bag, paid ahead of time, is a ridiculously high price to charge in addition to the flight cost. Middle seats unless you are willing to pay more. Not even a drink on the plan unless you are willing to pay. etc etc. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient not to provide a paper ticket. I was unable to print a boarding pass as I was away from home. At the check-in I was not given a paper boarding pass, and then when I got to the entrance area, my phone would not work to show the boarding passes electronically. Ryan Air's website was impossible to navigate to find my boarding passes, taking me literally about a half hour to figure out. This delayed our entry tremendously. On the flight out from Barcelona to Rome my son was allowed to carry on his skateboard plus one small other carryon. On the flight back, he was NOT allowed to take the board through security, and was told he was too late to check the board. This turned out not to be true, but we were not informed of this at check-in, again seriously delaying our boarding. Luckily we had arrived at the airport way too early, and this worked to our advantage given Ryan Air's incompetence. The next day we flew home on Swiss Air - what a pleasant difference to fly on a real airline! No issues, lots of help, etc. etc."

Miinukset: "My seat/seating area was littered with crisps, this was very obvious to anyone and should have been cleaned up. The seat tray was sticky."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed 1h 30min. We lost our connection to New York and hs to buy a new ticket that cost us over 500usd each. Its incredible how little preocupation you put on getting to destination in time."
