Miinukset: "After missing our connecting flight in Istanbul on our Turkish Airlines flight on January 9th from LAX-Addis Ababa (due to a nearly 45 minute delayed flight), my sister and I had to spend 24 hours in Istanbul and still pay for a night in our 4 star hotel in Addis, despite the fact that we weren't there. So, in preparation for our flight back to LAX, I spent hours on the phone with a Turkish Airlines representative to ensure that we would not miss our connecting flight on the way back to LAX on January 29 (Jomo Kenyatta-IST-LAX). The TA representative spoke very little English and became incredibly frustrated with me when I expressed my concern about how closely scheduled our connecting flights in Istanbul were. The representative said she could "help us" by seating us at the back of the plane from Jomo Kenyatta-IST, as she was "mostly sure" that our plane would deboard from the back of the plane once we arrived in Istanbul and, in theory, we wouldn't have to wait behind all the other customers to exit. This was totally incorrect: our plane only deboarded from the front exit door and the seats she selected at the back would surely have caused us to miss our next flight were it not for the fact that the plane wasn't full and we arrived only a few minutes late. Still, by the time we got off the plane in IST, our connecting flight was already 15 minutes into boarding. We showed the TA attendants our boarding passes at the long security line, and at first they both said, "don't worry, it will be fine". I had to convince them to let us skip the line as we would clearly have missed our flight. Once we finally made it through security we ran through the ENTIRE Istanbul airport to get to our gate, as we could hear them calling the final boarding call for our flight to LAX. We literally ran as fast as we could for almost 20 minutes straight, with all of our bags, which ended up being over a mile, I would guess. When we got to our gate, we had to go through yet another security line - WHY??? Apparently there was a celebrity in front of us, and while we were sweating and nervous about missing our flight, the security agents were taking selfies with the celebrity. It was insulting and rude and totally unprofessional. The take away for me is that Turkish Airlines should NOT be allowed to sell flights to people that give them less than an hour to make international connecting, especially in an airport as large and disorganized as Istanbul, and especially when Turkish Airlines flights are often late or delayed. This was one of the most stressful flying experiences of my life."

That ruined my whole holidays and I had to go all the way home from Gatwick airport and next morning going again to Heathrow airport. Turkish TSA seemed a little confused with what to confisticate. They almost took away my portable shaver too. There were 4 little kids running around aisle during the flight forcing me to watch movies instead of sleep crossing the Atlantic Ocean."

After 3 hours of waiting I finally got someone to get us on a flight to Qatar and then to our final destination Oman. That person then left work before printing the tickets and I had to start all over again. It was a very stressful and tiring ordeal and cost us an entire day of our vacation."

Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!

Ilmainen kahvi olihan kiva. Lento myöhässä yli 2 h Hesan päässä odotettiin rappusia. Huh huh. On se vaikeeta!

Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.

Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.

Myöhässä taas.

Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.

Erinomaiset ja viihdyttävät lentäjät mutta lento lähti myöhässä

Tällä lennolle kaikki sujui hienosti. Henkilökunta toimi ammattitaitoisesti ja lentäjät olivat huippu ammattilaisia, nousut ja laskut olivat hallittua. Kiitos Finnair.

Jokin ongelma saapuessa jolloin bussikuljetus ja kävely toisesta päästä kenttää… kangasmaski käskettiin vaihtaa kesken lennon vaikka osa oli ilman saapuessakin koneeseen Lentolippujen kaivaminen oli haastavaa,sitten keksin liittää finskin appiin

Minulla oli aivan kova nälkä ja halusin ostaa lentokoneessa leivän mutta valitettavasti minä olen nuori enkä omista luottokorttia ja en saanut koneesta mitään koska normaali electron maksu kortti ei kelvannut eikä käteinen kelvannut..

We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"
Plussat: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."

Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.

When you look for a cost effective flight especially when flying with family including 2 young children you think it is good that the flight costs were quite good, however when you add in the additional baggage fees each way and the reserving you seats so you can all sit together the overall flight costs including the extortionate food prices on board makes them out to be much the same if not higher than that of one of the premium airlines that already include all those things in your flight cost. Not to mention when arriving home in Boston around 40 passengers bags had been left in London and there was NO Norweign staff available to help with this, it tool numerous requests from passengers as well as the flight services people to get a Norweign member of staff to come and help. SO there were a lot of unhappy passengers. I will be seriously considering whether i use Norweign any more in the future because of this."
Miinukset: "We were diverted to Dulles because of weather, which is no one' fault, of course. We were assured on the flight that there would be buses ready to take us to New York or accommodation for us if the roads were too dangerous. We went through immigration and were greeted by a resounding silence on the part of Norwegian. No representative, no message, no announcement, no luggage, which we STILL have not received a week later. All efforts to get in touch with Norwegian were fruitless. Never, never, never will I give them my business again."

My single checked bag was $65, there was also a charge for reserving a specific seat (not even the upgraded seats), there was no food or water on a 9 1/2 hour trans-Atlantic flight unless you paid extra for it. After arriving at Orlando, the cargo door of the aircraft would not open meaning bags had to be unloaded 1 at a time through a smaller hatch resulting in a 2 hour delay to get a checked bag. Not impressive for a supposedly new Dreamliner."
Plussat: "I recieved emails informing me of possible disruption to travel to and from airport ie road congestion & weather conditions and recommendations to avoid delays which I thought was a very helpful service."
Miinukset: "We didn't pre order food but understood snacks could be ordered during flight. The sandwiches had all sold soon after we departed New York. We were lucky enough to buy the last fruit salad. We had nothing else to eat for the entire journey. We booked hand luggage only. Obtaining a boarding pass electronically for myself and my partner was impossible. On the fourth attempt I booked myself in individually and was successfully. I then booked in my partner successfully.We tried to go through departures armed with our boarding pass but we're refused entry. We were redirected back to Norwegian main check in to obtain a happy face stamp on our boarding pass which is obtained after the weight of the luggage has been checked. Unfortunately this means that instead of going straight through departures with hand luggage only we had to go to the main Check in anyway. I agree with checking weight of hand luggage but the process could be improved greatly."

You are in the service industry for crying out loud! - If any of such amenities are not offered on long haul flights, that needs to be EXPLICITLY NOTED IN BIG BOLD LETTERS DURING BOOKING. - Very poor understanding of customer behaviour and flight booking.. - Price discrimination by having to pay for standard amenities on long haul flights is evil and unethical"

Miinukset: "Information about system for ordering food was very problematic. I was not informed that I needed to order food 3 online days in advance. I tried to order it while checking in online because I realised only at that point that it was likely I would have to order in advance...I was charged but did not receive what I ordered. One crew member was nice, the others were not. When checking in at the airport the staff desk attendant was very rude. Too many hidden costs. Paying for extras like food and luggage does not make the price economical."

Miinukset: "The plane hadn't been cleaned properly, there was still food in the pocket in my seat from the flight before. And they didn't bring the trash through nearly often enough which resulted in passengers leaving wrappers and cups on the floor. We were 30 min delayed as well."

For the basic fare (which I didn’t realise I was even purchasing), you had to pay extra for a seat and for luggage, on long haul transatlantic! 3. I wasn’t offered food or beverage once on the 8 hour trip 4. You had to purchase a blanket if you wanted one. Everyone was wearing their coats onboard. It almost felt like they were intentionally keeping the temperature cold to induce passengers to purchase blankets. When I requested they raise the temperature, I was told that this was the warmest they could make it and this is the warmest on any plane. (Obviously not true. I fly every month and have mostly found plane temperatures to be manageable.) Oh, and did I mention how you had to pay to check luggage on a transatlantic flight!!"

Plussat: "I flew round trip from Oakland, CA to London. This is a budget airline. You pay for anything extra. That said, the airplane was new, spotless and comfortable. The toilets were clean and well stocked with paper products. ( I have experienced quite the opposite on more expensive flights.) The crew was efficient and responsive. The plane was on time and the flight was great. Given the $700 price reduction, I don't mind paying to check luggage or bringing my own food, water, blanket, pillow, ear phones, music, sleep mask and earplugs. If you want a snack, drink, coffee or water, it can be ordered for airport prices. The snacks looked better than the food they served."

Miinukset: "I fly routinely for work including internationally. I have always been able to carry on 2 pieces of hand luggage -- 1 small rolling bag and a personal messenger bag. I was surprised upon my return flight to be told I had to check one of my bags because their combined weight > 10kg. There was no problem with me having both bags for carryon during my departing flight. The return flight wasn't even half full, so there was plenty of cabin space for my rolling bag. Instead, this was a ridiculous policy of Norwegian so that they could ring some money out of me. I doubt I will fly with them again."
Plussat: "Just all in all, a really decent flight. The airplane was clean and tidy, staff were polite and I was really impressed with the free wifi. The flight was comfortable and I was able to get a little power nap in before we landed!"

Miinukset: "I felt this was a bait and switch offer. Cheap price offered, but no checked in baggage included nor any food and drinks or snacks. NOTHING. Flight attendants basically ignore you the whole flight unless you purchase on the flight or in advance. Very poor choice of movies, all old movies. And no WiFi whatsoever. All of these are major inclusions on trans-Atlantic flights, and were not visible when purchasing this flight. I thought it sounded too good to be true. To be honest, if this were all included up front, I couldve brought on-board food and drink for the flight. I dont like being nickel and dimed on everything. Charging over $50 for a checked in bag is ridiculous. At least if it were for $25 like every other flight, I wouldnt of minded."
Plussat: "Norwegian is bare bones, but this flight on the Dreamliner is very comfortable. It ‘helped’ that the delay meant lots of people cancelled and there was a lot of spare space on board."

Miinukset: "They charge for just about EVERYTHING. I was aware that checked luggage was not included in the ticket price so I prepaid for that. But be prepared: even on an 11-hour flight you must also reserve meals (i.e., prepay), or you'll be looking forward to buying from the "snack bar"--$9 for a small sandwich. Other items they charge for: water, earbuds, blankets... Don't even ask if there are free snacks. I'm surprised I wasn't charged for speaking with a crew member (when I could flag one down--good luck with that). They begin "boarding" 2 hours before departure. Why? So you can stand in a long line, no food venues nearby, to then be sequestered in an enclosed waiting area until they condescend to let you on the aircraft (no fee for that, surprisingly). Unless you prepaid another fee for expedited boarding. But if you're a common peasant I suggest taking a different discount airline where they actually care about their customers."
Plussat: "Dreamliner was a very good place to be for seven hours. As budget airlines go Norwegian are the best we've used, amazing value to cross the atlantic."

Nearly slipped up with baggage as did not purchase bags coming back as missed the point while booking. How many people book return flights and don't bring bags back? Should have been an 'are you sure' check."

There were about 15 people to check the weight of people's bags, and basically run security again (mostly standing around), while one person checked tickets and passports. This lead to the flight leaving an entire hour late. I ordered a meal for the flight, but was surprised that when I needed even just an additional glass of water (during the 12 hour flight) I was charged $3. If I had not ordered a meal, I would not have received even the one drink that I got. This was a 12 hour flight, and most people around me were not offered even water."
Plussat: "The staff was really nice, and when my husband's tv screen wasn't working they made sure to reboot it several times, until it did."
Miinukset: "I have never been on an international flight where they made you pay for food and water. They, in fact, won't stop the beverage cart for you unless you've paid for a meal package. When I booked my flight there was no option to opt in nor out of any meal package. I called the airlines 48 hours in advance, and they told me that, in order to pay for a meal package I would have to have called at least 72 hours in advance. Also the flight had no vegetarian hot meal options, which sucked for me. I was appalled that you had to pay for, even, water!!!!"

Miinukset: "There was a mechanical issue which delayed boarding and since we were quarantined to a small area without enough seating, no restrooms or food services which made me very upset. Once we were on the plane there was a possible terrorist threat which delayed us even longer and scared everyone on the plane after police entered the cabin. We were not given any services for the 12+ hours we had no access to purchase food. The food service system was no working on the plane. It also took us 20 minutes to find a gate. The plane was very warm and everyone was angry. The check in process was also horrible with the staff being rude. The flight attendants were also not very nice and after experiencing the scare of something going on they should've been a bit more accommodating. I will never fly Norwegian again or fly out or into Gatwick Airport."

Miinukset: "Paid extra to pick seats. Not to pick a better seat but just to pick any seat ahead of time so family could sit together-like a lot extra! Not good Norwegian. Paid extra for food. Not clear on site so didn't know that even on long trip overnight, you get nothing to eat or drink- not even water- unless you order it ahead online and pay OR order it on board and pay. And if you didn't order any food or extras, the crew pretty much ignored you like you werent there not good Norwegian Paid extra for baggage-and a lot! Sizes/weighs allowed for baggage is less than American air carriers and they charge you per kg for overage."

Miinukset: "The cabin service and crew members on 2 of the 3 Norwegian flights I've been on this past month are the rudest I've ever experienced.. They were snappy, impatient, not communicative about the handing out of hot food, and also I heard one of them talking very negatively about other passengers. I understand that it's a service industry job and dealing with customers/passengers can be difficult at times but it's really unattractive to do it directly in earshot of other customers. The price is great for the flights but I'd really rather not travel Norwegian again because of the attitude of the service team. Really, the worst. The breakfast meal was pretty unsatisfactory. The cold wraps are not appetizing and the juice is just super sugary, kind of garbage quality."
Miinukset: "Extremely rude flight attendant that served my section. Lack of information about when you would be served. No free drinks including water, even though I paid for a meal. Very narrow seats, the only type of person that would fit comfortably would be a child. I was given a different seat from what I reserved and sat in the middle of 2 men (one with horrible body odor), both whom were very thin, but it was if we were all sharing the same seat, I couldn't move!!!! Toilets hadn't been cleaned, absolutely disgusting. When the pilot spoke, he had such a thick accent no one around me could figure out what he was saying. And last but not least, we sat on the plane for 3 hours before we took off, 2 of those hours was without airconditioning."
Miinukset: "Showed up to my flight an hour before and was told I was late and booking closed... was told by another airline three hours later that an hour before I was able to change my flight for another time but was never told by Norwegian airlines employee. Not only did I pay $542 for a flight home that I actually never was on but had to pay an additional $1400 to get back home and getting home the following day. I would like a refund of my $542 since I was told the wrong information and was on time for boarding."

We took the same size plane both outbound and inbound yet on our return flight all of a sudden we had ti pay for one of our bags, exact same luggage as our departure flight including the same size plane"

Plussat: "Every trans-Atlantic flight I've had with Norwegian has been on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which is an incredibly comfortable airplane compared to current standards. Ventilation and lighting are superior in a way that I doubt can be corrected on older aircraft. Norwegian's crew are *superb*. I've never had such snappy service on an aircraft; ordering via the built-in touchscreens is quick and straightforward. Also, I pre-bought the meal for a 7-hour flight, and it also came with a snack near the end, and each came with a drink."
Miinukset: "The food is not as good as Turkish Airlines. I don't think you can order anything but snacks and sandwiches if you don't pre-order, which isn't very enjoyable on a trans-Atlantic flight."

Miinukset: "Flight left super early. It didn't really seem that Gatwick processes passengers this early: - not many baggage drops open, long wait. - boarding of plain very disorderly. Stuck standing on air gate for sometime. Hadn't loaded disabled passengers first. It was hard for them to get through as other passengers allowed onto air gate."

Miinukset: "Flight was more than 2 hours late no one informed on Boarding counter only was saying it is 10 min late, then end up sitting in plane for 2 hours in hot humid condition no air con put on. For courtesy didn't offer any refreshment. Disappointing."
Miinukset: "Our return flight on Sunday evening from London Gatwick to Edinburgh was cancelled without any clear explanation. Customer service thereafter was poor."
Miinukset: "Two flights to Palma de Mallorca this week for two of us. Wednesday and Friday at the same time from Gatwick. Both late by exactly the same time but for different "reasons". Odd and annoying."

Miinukset: "Easy jest sold me ticket when wasn't sure they will have enough seats.after spending 3 hours to get to the airport and pass check in and security i have been told right on the front of the plane that there is no seat for me. They offered me next day flight from Luton when my original one was from Gatwick! They even didn't want to make refund and wanted to give me flight voucher.pleased after they have been told i will make a post in social media they made the refund. Never ever with Easyjet.no mayer how much will cost me!!!! Shame on you Easyjet!!!!!"
