Location. The hotel was at walking distance to many tourists attractions as well as to best restaurants in town. Nice view of Chapultepec park. The concierge team was very helpful Windows need to be clean so that guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the park
We enjoyed the room, once we'd upgraded to the renovated rooms. The regular rooms are dingy 1980s style, but the newer ones (for $30/night more) are very nice, if a bit small. Great views on the upper floors. Close to the museums and a few restaurants. Polanco is a fairly good district to hang in if you're new to Mexico DF. The taxi services they provide are outrageously priced. Don't take them; just wait downstairs for someone to get out of a regular taxi and take it (tell the driver to turn on the "taximetro" if he doesn't). The closest metro stop isn't a very useful one. The lobby is a big slab of concrete, although the statues are nice. The regular rooms they'll put you in initially are nasty, especially for the price, then you have to pay $30 to upgrade. They didn't find my toiletries bag that was accidentally left in the room. :(
Absolutely everything, it is just gorgeous, the views, the room design, the food options, you name it. Nothing to say on this side.
Astounded that on check out was over charged more than $1500.00!!!! Was finally corrected, but reception did not apologize.
