We had a carry on and were flying business class. They made us check in the bag but it was clear that it could fit. They said it was a busy flight so we had to give our bag up to check in. We arrived on the plane and there was plenty of space to put our luggage. It was not a friendly experience especially paying the premium to fly business. They were very direct and non forgiving. Crew on board were nice though!

They lost my bag! I was waiting for this ski trip for a year, and they lost my snowboard bag. It is still in London and I'm at Avoriaz, waiting for a driver that god knows when will come.
Even though it’s only a 4 hours direct flight, They lost my baggage!!!

I order some to help to find my gate for a another international flight,but no one came. For such long flight, definitely need to have sits with more space. Very hard to flight in such tight space
The food was a far miss to my other flight from BBK to Istanbul . I know it was a different flight also being a bit tired after other flight did not help . Otherwise the were excellent .
Food and entertainment
They ran out of select drinks on the plane. Boarding was a pain!!! They had the longest security checks, and it was extremely chaotic. Seating was crowded.
Boarding was a breeze and the staff were lovely. Online check was very simple and easy to navigate.
The amount of extras you have to click no to while checking in online.
They have one line of executive class after the kitchen and toilet, is very noisy.
Flight was lovely, crew were friendly and very helpful and food was delicious!! We travelled with assistance for mum and it was excellent and we were kept updated all through the flight.
Pretty basic one hour flight so there's not much to complain about or praise about. I got some sleep which was good.
The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me.

No alcohol beverage service before take off. One of the only airlines that does this. Also flight was delayed again in Istanbul. We were delayed on our layover in, and out of Istanbul. Both times stuck on the tarmac. I see this as a common problem
I have a trip from Manchester to Riyadh and I have a stop in Istanbul. Manchester plane was delayed one hour, no problem, but I arrived in Istanbul at the right time and the gate was open I gave them my ticket. They told me that the sestem moved your seat to the second plane but now the plane is open. ? I waited 6 hours at Ataturk airport and had a working meeting I could not attend

Food was abundant and pretty good. I paid $91.95 US (think it was 75 euro) for the exit row and felt this was money well spent.
They charged me $90 for my luggage. Several weeks or perhaps even months after I booked, I received an e-mail saying I had booked Super Cheap Economy or some such. It had a link to pay for 'additional services' but not luggage. At the time of booking, I checked and the price given was $35. So, I have protested the additional $55 with my CC company and will see what happens. BTW the luggage was not overweight. They turned off all the lights, including my personal reading lamp, so I could not read and had to just sit there doing nothing. That really blew big chunks. I only got two small glasses of wine.
They gave someone else seats I had reserved for 6 months and that I had paid extra for. I will take that up with the company forewidth
It was fine, on time. I didn't have a checked bag or I would have waited in line at check-in for at least 30-45 minutes. Online check-in was relatively easy and digital boarding pass was convenient.
Seats are small, if you need to check a bag it will take forever. The underseat area is much.smaller than other airlines. The flight was very delayed because of some discrepancy regarding the number of passengers. Nothing seemed to be wrong but it took forever!
Staff courteous compared to our previous TAP FLIGHT
This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!
