Additionally, upon landing it is customary for passengers to unbuckle their seatbelts while taxi-not to the gate and standing up before the seatbelt sign has been turned off. The passengers have no regard for safety or rules."

Jose the supervisor at sift 10!am was like a robot about the allocation sitting. Did not understand personal circumstances to have a family flying together on a 9 house flight. Customer service is generally useless and a very unpleasant experience, the new seat charges and the inflexibility is making me wonder if I will choose air Europa again for my flights from the US. Flight was also delay due to some lugage delays. Pretty messy experience overall."

Plussat: "Although I was able to board the airline didn't have my name or reservation number or anything... it was like i never purchased a ticket. I had to wait until the plane was boarded and hope that someone didnt show up to get in the plane. This was the first leg of other connections to go to Amsterdam and it was too close to ruin my complete itinerary."

Miinukset: "The website would not allow me to check-in on my phone or my laptop. Had to retry 5 times. Finally when the boarding pass was sent it did not have a barcode. I was able to repeat the check-in to have a barcode in the app but then the reader at security would not read it! I had to go back to the check-in desk for help. AirEuropa web needs to get their act together."

Plussat: "Boarding was fast. The breakfast sandwich was good. It was nice the cabin lights were turned down since it was an overnight flight. Also all seats had a pillow and blanket."
Miinukset: "The seats were extremely cramped, very difficult to get comfortable. The bathrooms early into the flight were dirty and one had no toilet paper the entire flight, making me wonder if any were cleaned between flights. Having TV's is a nice option to pass the time on a long flight. The problem was the seats were so close it was uncomfortable to watch them."

Miinukset: "Nuestro vuelo entre Boston y Lisboa arriba llegó con retraso a su destino, Lisboa. En Lisboa, las maletas se retrasaron más de 1 hora. Debido a ambos retrasos, perdimos el vuelo de conexión entre Lisboa y Oviedo. En Lisboa, los empleados del mostrador de Air Europa ni nos miraron a la cara. No se disculparon ni hicieron ningún ademán de ayuda. No había otros vuelos entre Lisboa y Oviedo hasta el día siguiente. Tuvimos que rehacer los billetes de avión en el aeropuerto de Lisboa, encontrar un hotel en Lisboa y cenar allí por el retraso del avión de su compañia y el indebido manejo de equipajes. Aunque las compañias aereas entre Boston y Lisboa y Lisboa y Oviedo fuesen distintintas, el asunto de " no es nuestro problema" " no es una sloución" al viajero, especialmente cuando se trata de vuelos internacionales. Lo menos que Air Europa podría haber hecho por nosotros es habernos facilitado un voucher para pasar la noche en Lisboa. Por decirlo claramente, rehacer los billetes a Oviedo y pasar la noche en Lisboa sumó otros 1000 dólares. Ni que decir que en Oviedo tuvimos que rehacer todo lo demás,porque nuestro vuelo no salió hasta las 4 de la tarde del día siguente. La vuelta del día 21 de Julio desde Lisboa a Boston aconteció iigualmente con otras dos horas de retraso. La compañia Delta en Boston e ofreció a montarnos en un avión Bostón-Atlanta más tarde sin gasto alguno. Su compañia en cambio se disculpó en un vuelo internacional. Su lema "No es nuestro problema". De poco sirve esto ahora de vuelta en mi casa, exceptuando que esta familia no utilizará en el futuro su compañia en ningún vuelo internacional, ni recomendará su aerolinea a otras personas. Nunca Iberia,Delta, Air France, British Airways, Tap ni American se han comportado de este modo a lo largo de nuestro recorrido por el mundo."

Plussat: "The price was great for a direct flight from Boston to Madrid."
Miinukset: "The plane was very, VERY old and extremely uncomfortable. This was an overnight flight, they turned down the cabin light for the first ten minutes but then it was on for four hours, making it impossible to sleep. There was no in flight movie, and there was no way to turn off the antiquated cumbersome seat TV. Really awful to get off the plane and be exhausted. They didn't offer food to the inside rows, only to the window side. When you asked you got an annoyed glare."
Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled without explanation. We scheduled flight was also seriously delayed. Flight to Barcelona was siginifivantly delayed as well. Poor communication to the passengers. I'll never fly Air Europa again. Moreover, I'll recommend my friends to not fly this airline as well."
Plussat: "Equipment and crew on both Paris to Madrid and Madrid to Miami were good. On time and as pleasant as economy air travel today can be. No food or entertainment to rate on Paris -Madrid leg."
Miinukset: "Distance between landing gate in Madrid and departure gate too long. (Sign says 31 minutes walking time!) Also very long distance between landing gate and luggage claim in Miami - I don't know what passengers who can't walk well do."
Plussat: "Fell asleep for almost the whole 2.5 hour flight so I'm with it."

Miinukset: "When I booked my flight it was not at all clear that I had to pay for checked luggage, therefore I had to pay extra when I arrived at the airport. Please make it clear from the very beginning that checked luggage is not included. Easy Jet does a great job of this, giving you the option to pay for a checked bag when buying your ticket. With Air Europa, I had no idea at all."

Plussat: "Very little to like about the trip. As a very experienced traveller the trip to MAD was not pleasing. It appeared that crew attitudes reflect unacceptable monitoring and control by Air Auropa management of crew performance and equipment maintenance..The unworkable entertainment system failed ti entertain. No major delay. Able to meet connections."
Miinukset: "MVD to MAD leg. At meal times crew did not request passenger to sit their seats upright. Crew sleeping in the 2 seats in front of us had seats back total time of trip. It was very difficult to eat meats with the seat back in front of us. Hit in the face by crew member forcing seat back rapidly on change of crew rest period. Curtains of crew rest area encroached into my seat area. It was annoying, colostrophobic and unacceptable . One male member of the crew, when serving drinks at meal time mumbled Ïdiotö¨. I assumed he was referring to me. At breakfast time we were ignored when drinks were served. The entertainment system was unusable. It was apparent that the system was mal functioning and needs replacing. . I spoke to the head attendant and relayed our concerns. I was refused a visit from the captain in order to express pour concerns."
Plussat: "It got us to our destination. A member of the crew, the male attendant (can't remember his name), was very kind and helpful. We sat in the emergency exit row and it was the first time an attendant ever went over evacuation procedures for sitting there. (We always try to get the exit row bc I am six feet tall.) He was personable and funny and made us comfortable after waiting a long time to finally board."
Miinukset: "We couldn't find it! Our boarding pass said go to Gate ABC however that's not a thing. Each Gate A, Gate B, and Gate C had like 60 options. The crew from the previous flight didn't mention how to find connections or where to go and when we asked airport employees, they took one look at our ticket and said they didn't understand what Gate ABC meant. We saw a board and discovered it was Gate B65---a 45 minute run/walk away. We ran through the airport. We heard our flight being announced as final boarding so we ran even faster. When we got there, the attendant asked us if we were transfers and we confirmed. She then said that she was about to call our names. We were relieved we made it in time. Then we got on the bus to get to the train and waited 35 minutes!!! Why were we rushed through the airport only to wait on the bus?? Other people boarding after us did not look rushed at all. Also, the female crew member kept telling my mom to move her purse. My mom explained that it was attached to her outfit and that she wore it through takeoff but the attendant didn't listen because she just said again that my mom had to stow it. But it was part of her clothes! It couldn't detach! My mom explained again but the attendant said back "it is our policy to store purses." It was frustrating bc she either wasn't listening or didn't understand even when my mom showed her it was attached. She just stood there looking at my mom. It was attached to her jacket so my mom finally said whatever and had to take off her entire jacket (scarf was also attached) and put it in the overhead bins all because the woman seemed like she didn't understand English."
Plussat: "Almost nothing"
Miinukset: "The distance between the arriving and departure flights was about 20 minutes walk, and we had very short time to go from one side to the other. Then the departure was delayed without any explanation for about 2 hours. The food is not good. The entertainment system does not work. Even they sell the headphones. Little space between seats. Baggage was delivered after two hours!"
Plussat: "Our seats were comfortable. The crew was kind. The flight was very smooth."
Miinukset: "The water and juice were hot. The coffee was not good, it didn't had coffee flavor. The ice was very poor. The lights were on the whole flight, we couldn't rest at any time."

Miinukset: "Snacks (breakfast or PM snack) Also this is the 3rd fly that I take in las 15 months and alwyas de plug on the seats are either damage or do not operate. 3 out of 3. Please conduct an assesment of your PM verification"

Plussat: "I have never been on a flight to Las Palmas where the crew was so un attentive. It was really a shocker to me. I have had the luck of flying and usually getting very professional and courteous flight attendants and crew members. On this date I hardly saw them, they didn't acknowledge me whatsoever. I am wondering if the reason for this was because I sat way in the back of the plane. It was my first time selecting a,seat near the end of plane. However, that is no excuse. I had waited a long time to board this flight and I attempted to order some food but after 3 attempts and being ignored by the 2 female crew members in my isle I just fell asleep. It was a negative experience because as,a paying customer I always expect good service to say the least."

Nest, while we were in the line, they changed the sign to say you could only check-in 2 hours before the flight and then, when we got to the front of the line, they said it was 2 1/2 hours. Very rude in response to our questions."

Plussat: "Nothing, I was no allowed to check in online, at kiosk and was told to wait in line while employees did not address my concerns, was stuck in a line behind an irate customer for over 40 minutes and missed check in closing the flight by 3 minutes while I did not have any bags and I was forced to buy a new ticket with cash at office for following day at airport and extend my hotel and miss my group meeting in Croatia."
Miinukset: "The entire experience, employees did not listen, the counters were not manned, I was blocked by an irate customer who missed his flight the previous day . I was in line over an hour to check and was not allowed to check in before they closed my flight at 5:23 behind a customer who was yelling. I spent the next 3 hours yelling in Spanish trying to get rescheduled o a flight, was forced to pay in cash and file a form . Not great help when there was about 200 people in the customer service line"
Miinukset: "Delay of 35-40 minutes again, as always."
Miinukset: "Apparently Vueling, Iberia's cheap cousin, saves a middle seat in row 1 and charges more. A lot more! I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."
