Plussat: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."
Miinukset: "Entertainment (music and movies at least) was up-to-date but not very interested. Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"

I ended up paying additional $750 CAD just to change my itinary. This was a very sad experience will never use kayak or recommend to others. My booking number is T28V67. The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle

The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

Plussat: "From the boarding, to the friendly hostesses to the food and the business class seat, I was impressed all the way. My first time to fly Air France business to the US and it was great. I recommend it!"
Miinukset: "I just expected better toilet bag for business but what was given out was just basic."
Plussat: "Direct flight from Indy to CDG is great. The plane was not so full, so I hope business improves so we can keep it going. Very smooth flight, with good and friendly crew."

Miinukset: "I am not sure why this happened, but our daughter, travelling away from home for the first time, was targeted at every step of her journey. From the terminal in DCA to Cincinnati, to CDG. Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me."
Miinukset: "Security services at Manchester airport...too long and not friendly at all"

Plussat: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."
Plussat: "Very poor sound quality on the earphones. Made it very difficult to watch a movie and almost impossible to listen to music."
Miinukset: "The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Plussat: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Miinukset: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."
Plussat: "The fact that the plane made it to SFO"
Miinukset: "Downgrade without notice or consent separating family. Paid full fare for family to travel business class together. AF without our knowledge downgraded one member, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. They offered no compensation, no apology, and CDG ground crew was terribly rude. All anyone said was, nothing to be done, now please Leave"
Plussat: "The service and food were excellent plane was clean."

Plussat: "I am a 70 year old woman with reduced mobility. The flight attendants made sure that I was given an aisle seat and they helped me find a seat with two empty ones next to me. The crew could not have been kinder."

Miinukset: "Too many interruptions. Every time there's an announcement, it interrupts the movies and some of the announcements were completely unnecessary and there were so many of them, it was like constant interruptions, really annoying."

Miinukset: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."
Plussat: "Boarding was fast and efficient. Flight attendant staff were friendly and very courteous."
Miinukset: "Vegetarian food choices are too limited. Snack and beverage availability on long flights like this are too few and far between."
Miinukset: "Disorganised boarding with people allowed to bring on multiple and oversize bags that by the airlines own admission delayed departure"
The flight was three hours delayed and instead of having us wait to board we waited two hours in the plane before take off. For the future if they know connection flights are delayed they should have us wait outside
The mask policy is not enforced by the crew. Multiple people around us would not even wear the mask or have it on their chin. Flight attendants would walk past these people and not say anything. All they do is make overhead announcements about the masks being mandatory but they are terrible at enforcing the rules, very disappointing.

Miinukset: "The attendant made me check in my only carry on bag despite there was plenty of space on the plane for it. My bag was subsequently lost in the airport as it was moved to a different carousel without any notice. There was no food offered."
Miinukset: "We made thru customs and rescreening and still 18 minutes early. The gate agent literally closed the gate right I front of us. Argued that they closed the flight. AA closed the gate 8 minutes above the minimum 10 minute gate close requirement. We missed our flight and there was no announcement."

Miinukset: "It was very hot inside the plane and dificult to sleep No breakfast when we arrived in Brazil In Lima, after the flight from Miami, the period for the connection to Brazil was very short. At the airport, when I inquired about attention to get through the security line, the answered was that we have to ask for permission to pass before the passagens that was waiting in queue."

If the AA was the one made an error of canceling my seat, I wished they would show at least an attitude of taking responsibility to fix the problem."

Plussat: "The crew is caring and attentive. AA is upgrading all their planes and the individual monitors so you can watch and/or listen to any entertainment you wants. Plane left on time and arrive early, making transfer less stressful."

Miinukset: "This was a horrible travel experience, the worst I have ever known. My uncle had died, so I had to search for the soonest and most economical flight in order to attend the funeral. Traveling with me was my aunt (his ex wife) and my cousin (his only daughter). Our initial flight was delayed 'due to mechanical issues' and they said we weren't going to make our connection in Phoenix. So they had to reroute the whole trip, which took about half an hour because all of the flights were full. So instead of flying from LGB - PHX - CLT - CAE and arriving Saturday night, we ended up departing from LAX (which we specifically were trying to avoid) almost 9 hours later. From there to DEN - CLT - GSP arriving Sunday morning. Because of this I had to contact the hotel and let them know that we weren't going to check-in until the next day, but I still ended up having to pay for Saturday night. Then, I had to cancel the rental car and make a new reservation to pick it up at GSP and return at CAE since the hotel was close to CAE, plus the return flight was through CAE. Also, wifi was an additional cost (which we didn't use because of this), the snacks were pitiful, and the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. I have flown with JetBlue in the past, but on this occasion, last minute flights to South Carolina were prohibitively expensive. That being said, if I had known how bad the experience with American was going to be, I would have gladly paid literally double the price for the JetBlue tickets. And in the future, I will be flying exclusively with JetBlue no matter what the cost."
