The crew that checked at the gate was completely unprofessional, i had a child, stroller and a carry on luggage and the crew did not bother providing any help getting down 3 flight if stairs. I asked for hel and they ignored me

Plussat: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."

Boarding and transit security in Frankfurt was anxiety-inducing – between getting to the US departures area and additional screening, it took more than an hour from deplaning to getting in line. Boarding w/o group numbers was an exercise in patience. And the terminal wifi is so spotty!"

I ended up paying additional $750 CAD just to change my itinary. This was a very sad experience will never use kayak or recommend to others. My booking number is T28V67. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

The gate crew in Paris was HORRIBLE. I purchased a Premium Economy seat and was "involuntarily downgraded" to regular economy, splitting up my family. There was no apology and they were very rude. And then they subjected me to an additional security check. When I asked about a refund for the difference, they simply said, "check with the ticket agent in LA when you get there." But due to flight delays, we didn't get to the ticket counter until 11 p.m. and they couldn't help me. The flight crew was astonished this had happened, and they tried to be helpful. But the whole experience was pretty lousy.

This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me."

As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Plussat: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Miinukset: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

Miinukset: "Luggage....it is allowed to charge but they shouldn’t charge. During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This occurs only because they charge to dispatch luggage when buying the tickets. So nobody dispatch luggage and those who dis became frustrated because they payed. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."

Miinukset: "1 hour delay with no email or other notification. Flight number changed with no notification until check in. Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Miinukset: "I needed to change my flight because of a death in the family. To change my flight was more expensive than the initial ticket itself. That is ridiculous. You should not do that to people. There should be a $300 change fee and that's it. At most. The entertainment would be good if I could hear it - but I couldn't. The sound was terrible. Uncomfortable seats. Barely slept. Overal terrible experience. Also turn on the damn entertainment while we are waiting on the tarmac - why wait until we are in the air? Almost every other airline - all the good ones - Emirates, Lufthansa, and other quality airlines - will let you access the in flight entertainment as soon as you sit. But the change cost of the ticket was the most offensive thing. I feel robbed, in a time of tragedy."

Miinukset: "Plane was 6.5 hours late taking off. I missed a meeting in Cusco because overall I arrived 8 hours past my scheduled arrival time."

Miinukset: "I was very disappointed to discover that I was not able to choose my seat in advance because I bought my ticket from a third party. I ended up in the emergency exit aisle with a seat that wouldn’t recline so I was unable to sleep on my overnight flight. Also the staff at the gate showed up just 5 minutes before boarding, so I waited in line a long time to get my seat- almost an hour. I could not see the movie screen from my seat."
Plussat: "LAN moved to departure gate five minutes before scheduled Board Time from downstairs shuttle bus to plane, to a walk on gate to plane."
Miinukset: "Original schedule pulled in one day due to Hurricane Irma cancellation/rebook from MIA to SCL. LAN wanted $280US to change ticket. I paid $160US for ticket originally. No sympathy from LAN for hurricane impacted travelors. Extremely poor customer relations!!"

When I asked the ticket agent why the change in time, her response was that the scheduled departure time is only estimated......!!"

Miinukset: "This flight was entirely unnecessary. I paid for this flight and another from Lima to D.C. I was in Nazca, so could have easily boarded in Lima which was 3 hours away, but the airline forced me to make the 14 hour trip back to Cusco instead, just so I could fly BACK to Lima on their plane, otherwise they would have cancelled my whole reservation. I will never fly with LATAM again."

Miinukset: "The attendant was rude to my daughter. She was discriminated against. During the meal pass he gave everyone else a meal and gave my daughter water and said ' You will be fine with that.' At the Lima airport the restaurant refused to serve us. If you are traveling to the Olympics and you are an American I suggest you avoid Lima. The Peruvian airport personnel don't like us and they let you know it."
Plussat: "They have all the boxes checked. It is what you would expect from a coach flight."

Miinukset: "After a 2 hour check in line in the airport lobby, we ran to the gate, only for there to be absolutely no info available. Flight was then cancelled, 2 hours later. Re booking was an absolute nightmare. I will never fly LAN airlines again."
Plussat: "crew and cleanliness"
Miinukset: "Uncomfortable spacing of seats on short flights a nightmare on long hauls. Have to assume the distance between seat and seatback ahead is now a safety issue should an emergency evac. be necessary. Had to argue over an imposed seat change despite holding a 2 hour old agent issued boarding pass. Gate agent plainly lied in claiming an equipment change was making it necessary. At start of trip (1/14), not allowed to board connection and suffered an additional 5hr. layover delay due to baggage transfer problem. No compensation of any type graciously offered for any of the inconveniences."
Plussat: "The best business class seating we've encountered ... tons of leg room, side by side seating arrangements. I peeped into economy and that's not too bad neither. The seats were 3 sets of 3 seats per row. Most other planes would have at least 10 seats across."
Miinukset: "All passengers had to open their bags to be searched by hand ... didn't we got screened already by the airport? So it took forever to board the plane"
Miinukset: "There was a LAN strike at airport. No manager from LAN, nor airport came forth for over 2 hours to talk w/ passengers. 8 a.m. flight left at 2 p.m. No apologies given."
Awful small sit, doesn't recline. They lost my bag!
The flight itself ws fine. My issue is with the fact that it was virtually impossible to make the connecting flight the Iberia listed as an option and that I booked. The Madrid airport is so big that you need quite a bit of time to get from one flight to the next. My husband and I missed our connecting flights so had to wait 3-4 hours to get on the flight Iberia re-booked us on.
Check in was a breeze! The seats were roomy and flight crew helpful.
Everything was ok based on the new “normal” environment.
Flight delayed. Missed connection. Bags lost. One of which has been lost for 11 days
i had to go thru security in Boston to get on plane. that is normal. landed in Madrid to get my connecting flight to alicante. they made me go thru security twice to get on the plane. i had to run almost 1 mile to make the plane with a bacpack and carryon..im 72 years old...only good thing is that a made the flight. sweating and very hot. the girl brought me a glass of water with ice without me asking..she was an angel from god.
Half hour late but is ok!!
Had to fly standby with 15 other passengers from JFK to Madrid because flight from JFK left late. Charged me 4 euro for a cup of coffee! Bad customer service!
The flight was fine and the crew was very professional. The long lines at the Iberia check-in counter were a bit much. Not enough counters. I purchased on-board Wi-Fi - it never worked. Also, be aware that claiming checked in luggage takes a long while to arrive at the carrousel (Barajas is slow that way).

Plussat: "From checkin, to boarding, to the fly, to luggage collection - the staff were all friendly and helpful and the whole experience was without issue. The flight was comfortable, leaving a touch late and arriving 10 minutes early. I have no complaints at all and would be happy to fly Iberia Express again."
Miinukset: "If I had to find one thing that wasn't so good - it was the time it took for everyone to put their carry-on luggage in the overhead lockers although this is not the airline's issue but became their issue because it meant the boarding process took a while. As mentioned - only a minor issue."
Plussat: "Food was good, lots of great movies to watch during such long flight."

Miinukset: "We were charged 100 Euros extra as they indicated the 2 pieces laugage was not included. They didn't respect the seats that where assigned in the reservation claiming we jus reserved the sits but didng pay for them."

Plussat: "Seats were comfortable, pleasant staff, good ent. good wifi and none of that loud chit chat through the flight like tha American companies."
Miinukset: "The only thing I was a bit disappointed was with the meal. I don’t eat red meat and requested it theough the website, but nithing special was arranged and I ended up eating pasta. Pasta is fine and I love it, but people that don’t eat meat need to have vegetables added to their meals, or at least an egg. And for breakfast the only option was a ham and cheese sandwich, so I didn’t eat."
Plussat: "The plane didn’t have coach puls class that I paied for and they gave me an upgrade to business class! Great Surprise!"

Miinukset: "All but two toilets were out of order halfway through the flight."

Dijo que si el levantaba esa maleta el podía dañar su espalda.. y el seguro no lo atenderia.. le dije al señor que yo había solicitado asistencia.. pero el dijo que para otra vez, pusiera mi equipaje en carga.. un pasajero vecino de mi asiento al ver la negativa actitud de ese señor.. levantó mi equipaje y me ayudó. Yo soy viajero frecuente de Iberia y se que una mala actitud no hará cambiar mi preferencia."

Miinukset: "Unless you paid you do not even get a seat assigned until you get to the airport. No food or even drink unless you pay."

Plussat: "Check-in was good, no queues. I arrived about four hours before scheduled departure time and check-in had been open already for an hour. In Mexico City Airport I had missed a flight three days earlier as I'd been observing the departure screens and they'd failed to update the status of my aircraft: this time I was informed of the gate at check-in. Flight was on time and didn't do anything scary. I was lucky as my neighbour found another free seat so left me with more room."
Miinukset: "I've found Iberia to be uncaring. This flight was much the same. The food and drink service was cheap, and I felt the attendants didn't feel like they had to try to give good service. The new entertainment screens kept coming on, and I kept turning them off as I wished to sleep. Eventually I discovered they were being triggered by the electrostatic charge on the pillows that I was rearranging."

Miinukset: "Chaotic boarding. A large crowd was allowed to clog gate access, and no announcements were made regarding boarding procedures therefore as a preboarding family with toddler we had to push through the crowd to accessential the gate. It seems boarding status announcements could have alleviated the boarding tension."

Miinukset: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."
Plussat: "Special ordered meal was good, and seat was comfortable. Movies great!"
Miinukset: "Boarding was disorganized - signage very misleading. Cabin was stuffy and warm until the plane started moving, and during the trip it did not cool off sufficiently. Would be better if they told passengers about when meals will be served. Stewardess poured old coffee in the basin while people were waiting to use the bathroom. Seat was splashed with coffee. Disposal for paper was stuffed. FYI Breakfast was inedible from ORD to Madrid."
Plussat: "I felt rushed when eating. There was not enough time to eat when they were coming to offer more bread and coffee. They were in a hurry to pick up. Food was short"

Miinukset: "Poor service. It seems most if not all Iberia staff are not happy to work for this airline, and definitely hot happy to work with people. My kids asked a few times why those people were upset (regarding both flight crew as well as ground crew). Online services to request seat assignments does not work. We tried to get seat assignments over the phone, and it seems Iberia only picks up the phone if you going to purchase a ticket, otherwise forget about getting help over the phone, and/or online (email as well as website). After trying to obtain child menus over the website and phone, I drove to the airport Iberia desk to order it there two days before the flight. The desk manager was helpful and requested for us to send an email with the request, so he could set it up once the flight opened up two days before the flight. I sent out the email to find out on the flight once food service started that the request was never placed."
Miinukset: "This is a horrible airlline. No inoformation or connecting here info in Madrid, no agents anywhere to be found. Online check-in malfunctions food was the worst food I ever saw. Airline causes huge amount of unecessary sress."

Plussat: "The food for vegetarian meals was horrible. They gave only salad and fruit dish. In a regular meal, they got other perks such as a cake, candy, yogurt, and salad with dressing and a better main meal. Vegetarians can eat cake, candy, and yogust. Also, salad dressing such as ranch or something would be nice. I don't think this flight understands what vegetarian truly means. It does not mean salad and fruit. We we also not given bread that comes with butter. Begetar I and eat bread. Also, for main meal for vegetarians pasta with marinara or patio sauce or a cheese pizza slice would have been nice. Please look at British airway and other airline vegetarian menus for Better sense."
