Plussat: "They were helpful"

Plussat: "Nothing. I was so disappointed with the whole experience."
Miinukset: "Everything. I paid a lot of money for this ticket. When I tried to check in yesterday I was denied. When I called the ticketing office, they explained that everything was fine with the ticket, and I would indeed have a seat, but I would have to go to the airport. I even asked them about the possibility of overbooking but they said that wasn't a risk. (I am Star Gold so I didn't think that was possible.) When at the airport they wouldn't give me a seat and they bumped me leading to many hours of confusion, a connection through Tanzania, and a loss of a night of sleep. And lots of stress. I know they de-prioritized the people who booked on Kayak. This was a miserable experience and unless you do something to fix this I will never use Kayak again."
Miinukset: "The grilled cheese sandwiches. They've been in the menu for a while but my family does not enjoy them at all. Tuna sandwich on another flight was much better. Also lack of entertainment. They allow you to access it, then they turn it off. Is such a tease. Plane left late and kept us in very hot cabin."

Miinukset: "I always enjoy a window seat but the people next to me didn't get up at all! So I was stuck sitting and didn't have a chance to stretch my legs. Not the airlines fault of course. If you put your seat back a little, it just pushes your knees farther forward."

And they always supply the same thing, unless I was just unlucky to have the same thing three times in a row. Boarding was chaotic - a full flight crammed into a departure lounge with far too few seats. There were many families trying to board and the staff could barely cope."

This first time i used buying tickets for u and you give me ticket from turkey airline and am never been with turkey airlines before, it’s the worse company I had ever seen in my life I got tired went hospital because of this company am very very sad ,please helping me my issue I bought tickets from you and then I went to airport to check in , the officer she said your bags it’s very heavy so i Said that fine I’ll paying the fees for extra, she said can you go buy in store 2 bags and move your clothes I said ok that’s fine, I went there back after am done she said am late u can’t take the flight because am late 3 mins i told her you just said go move my stuff and back the first I had emergency my sister she is past way 4 days ago and she is my twins and I didn’t see her for 4 years ago and then she’s past away I wish you feel me sir a and I explain her my this, she was trying tell me pay money for taken the flight next day and she wasn’t care sir she didn’t tell me sorry about my sister she’s only keeping talking pay money before 6 pm because after 6 it will be too much, so I told her please take my card and charge me and let’s me takes my flight I have emergency please she went inside and she took my card and she’s Back said my flight it will be tomorrow and charge me almost 200$ I said I didn’t say I want flight tomorrow and I feel very sad and she’s don’t care about my feelings but she’s was very care about money wooow, the end of day I getting tired to even speak and I was very very sad like i was thinking buying anther tickets for another company but she’s ready charge me and I left from airport to home back then I came next day and I went check in it was all the stuff different people and the lady she said my bags it’s big go buy one bag and move some stuff in this bag, again I said please can you cheak in and charge me extra bag let’s me fly she’s very very mean to me I went store and the lady from the store she’s was remember me because I went 2 times the first day and yesterday and back to check in she said am late for 2 mins and trying pay fees for next day, I was crying I can’t believe this I trying to explain her I was her last night and I have emergency nobody care nobody have feel me how am sad I trying to speak with anyone to help me nobody like all stuff they want done work and don’t care about Costmuer I went to Restrount and back nobody there and when I asked where’s all stuff they are left I was getting tired I have bags I trying to fond some one helping me nobody i got too much tired sir I was hospital yasterday I had 5 bags and I lost 2 bag I have big problem now for my back I got tired my body and my mind I have recorded all the stuff and from turkey airline I want send u the record and then you feeling me I only asked for help please help me I want flight and I can’t even walk it was too much please I don’t wants turkey airline"

Miinukset: "Here is a recommendation. When your business class is empty, and by empty I mean nobody was there, use the available seats or some of them to upgrade some of your loyal travelers. Also, when your business class is empty there is no need to draw the curtains, unless you have something to hide. Your personnel was not in the mood to work today."

Miinukset: "We ordered regular vegetarian food without any meat, fish or poultry. We had reserved it at least 2 weeks in advance. Again reminded them at the time of ticketing. Agent went to some one, there was some nodding of heads and we were told to tell crew member in advance. We did it in a written request to head crew. When time came other crew member served us completely ignorant of our request. We were served flash of some animal. We did not want to make a scene but people around were were also bothered. We came out hungry at the other end"

Miinukset: "The Tel Aviv airport check in is a nightmare!! We were there 3 hours ahead of our flight and the line would not move. Finally made it to the front 20 min before our flight!!! The people in the check in bags did not care if we missed our flight, was very rude and sloooooowwww!!! I have been to many airports and this is by far the worst! I had to run to my gate and ran into another check where they let me pass bc my flight was about to close! Made it 2 minutes before the bus left! Nightmare!!!"

Food is too much the same across all Turkish Airlines flights. I took 6 flights with Turkish Airlines in 1 week and got cheese sandwiches in every flight!"

Miinukset: "I booked my flight with Turkish Airlines for June 28th at 11:05 pm. A few hours before my flight, there were bombings in the airport in Istanbul, which was where I was flying into. I tried for hours to contact Turkish Airlines and their phone was disconnected. I could not reach anyone to try to re-schedule a new flight or to ask if the flight was going to be re-directed. I received no information and ended up having to book a new flight for the next day. After my flight had already left Turkish Airlines posted on their website an alert. I am shocked that it took so long to post any information and I am very upset that I was unable to reach customer service. I will NOT be choosing this airline to fly on again."
Plussat: "The turkish delight was great and the personal TVs were nice. The choice of shows to watch was good and the hot towel was a nice touch. I also liked the bag of goodies like a toothbrush and eye mask. Very nice."

Plussat: "Food & metal utensils,, courtesy, 5-star hotels on my two 14-hr layovers with meals as appropriate.,"
Miinukset: "Being asked to raise my seat back so that I woman behind me would find the positioning of her magazine more comfortably read. The space was mine. I am 78 and need all the backward lean (which is not much in economy) for my back that I can get. I finally said so. But my discomfort should not be asked in such a case....when at first I though it might have something to do with some expected chop or the like."
Plussat: "The service was outstanding, this is one of the best airlines I have ever flewn. Considering its elegancy and exquisite service. My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."

Miinukset: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Luggage handling was disgraceful and lots of luggage was left behind after being delayed for more than an hour.

The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."

Plussat: "It’s acctually the second time , just last week 23rd , our flight with delta got delayed that made us missed our connecting flight and I had to pass through Nairobi, female crew serving snacks came over to me with snacks and told me I ordered low fat food which I did and I asked her if it was ok if I had chicken that day she insisted that had ordered low fat mean and that’s what she has to serve me and I had to tell her again I needed chicken, she started arguing with me over snacks she got offended and she just threw food in my hand almost dropped to the floor , I think that was not professional at all. And today again coming to Nairobi the female crew came over serving snacks again and requested if I could have some wet wipes my hands were dirty dirty because had seen a crew handing out with to the people in the front raw but she answered me it was in the bank and she kept on and I again asked the male crew and he explained to me that they mostly don’t give wet wipes for short flights but I had wet wipes when I flew to Nairobi from Amsterdam and I had too when I left Nairobi to Uganda , what’s the point of serving foods when passengers gotta eat with dirty hands , and today again-the same female crew skipped the first raw of two males with snacks who were seated in front of us and even if they told her they missed the snacks, she stood there and called the male crew just unprofessionally to bring the snacks for the gentleman and she just never cared . I think they should do better thanks ."

Plussat: "This company obviously trains its employees to belittle and disregard customers. I have never dealt with a company so at fault for an issue and so utterly unwilling to make up for it. First, they cancel the first of our 3 flights to Delhi 18 hrs before it is to leave. The flight they replaced it with would leave us 10 min to make the connection. So we went to the counter and they told us they'd hold the plane, as did the stewardess on the flight. They lied. The plane left 10 min before we landed. We were stranded. Also, I got food poisoning from their food. They did nothing to help. They would not pay for the hotel we wanted, when we asked they rudely served everyone else they stranded first. The employee would not call his supervisor or give his name. The next morning i saw a doctor but the stomache infection was so bad i couldn't sit up or walk. The doctor wrote this on my clearance to fly document. I needed to get to India to get better medical help. We presented this to the kenya airlines agent and she would do nothing to help. She had business class reclining seats available but would not upgrade me. Even after everything this shitty airline has caused. Unbelievable. Every step along the way of this nightmare could have been made better, so much better, by some human decency but instead we got rude disregard."
Plussat: "The plane was pretty comfortable, they gave us blankets and pillows even though it was only a 4-hour flight."
Miinukset: "They served "breakfast" halfway through which was two tiny servings of meat and a piece of chocolate cake. Not much food and not really what I wanted to eat in the middle of the night! Boarding was completely chaotic, some screens said the flight was delayed, others said it was on time (it was delayed). When we arrived in Nairobi they hardly apologized for the delay, and also insisted on sending a bus to come pick us up from the plane because it was raining, which took forever. Missed my connection by about 5 minutes and had to wait almost 10 hours for the next one."

Miinukset: "My flight was 36 hours delayed and Kenya Airlines did not tell us why. I then heard that the same flight had been delayed three nights in a row. This led me to book another flight to my destination, so that I did not miss anymore of my trip. I am going to pursue a refund of my original flight. It seemed to me that Kenya Airlines new the flight would be delayed and said nothing until two hours before. Also how they handled the situation was very poor. I will never fly with Kenya Airlines again."

Miinukset: "Notorious for flight delays! How can you cancel an entire flight the day before?! Horrible! The delays are very annoying! Kenya Airways you're fired! Kayak, you guys should remove their crappy service from your options!! I only found out about the delay from their online service. The actual people suck! And do not even try to get through on their customer service line!"
Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled after waiting from midnight until 6:00 am in the Airport. Could have gone to a hotel... lost 2 days"
