Long trip not enough snacks for the kids , crew are not very helpful
Plussat: "The crew was polite but did not enforce social distancing when boarding. Disembarkation was chaos with everyone pushing to get off the plane."
Miinukset: "Calling people to board by rows would have made it less chaotic. Disembarkation was a dangerous disorganized mess."
Plussat: "The entertainment was adequate and there were multiple snacks/meals. The bread rolls were warm. And they provided towelettes for wiping hands after meals."
Miinukset: "The crew could have been more considerate, and the Economy seats were even tighter than usual! There was no leg room and even without the person in front of me reclining, the seat back was hitting my knees. The passenger next to me had longer legs and was much worse off. The food was very poor."
Plussat: "That was extremely nice of the company that we had that little package with toothpaste, toothbrush, pillow, slippers etc. Very happy about that."

Miinukset: "The boarding gate was located much further than I remember for previous flights. And then we had to board shuttle buses to the plane, which made for an unpleasant boarding experience. Too many carry-on bags onboard meant no space for my bag in my allocated overhead bin. The plane seemed old and the seats were small and cramped. The entertainment systems kept shutting off in the beginning of the flight, and my screen was slightly unresponsive to touch. Not the best flight experience compared with what I'm used to and expect from Turkish."

Plussat: "The flight and crew were fine. But I am frustrated with Turkish Airlines and their non-response about my tax refund for a flight I did not use."
Miinukset: "I am disappointed that Turkish Airlines has not responded to my request for a refund on taxes for this same flight that I did not use on February 19 because I was sick. Dhaka-Istanbul-Tirana-Istanbul-Chicago. They made me pay double what I paid for the entire round trip flight to move this flight 2 days later when I was well enough to fly. I have called and written several times and they have not responded. I have used Turkish Airlines for years and this is very disappointing, I am entitled to the airport taxes that I paid and did not use."
Plussat: "I didn’t like anything. Or maybe the only thing I liked is getting to my destination so I don’t have to be flown by that terrible airline anymore."
Miinukset: "The fact that Turkish airline clearly is too stingy to take proper care of their passengers. You don’t provide accommodation when people get a stopover which is disgusting considering it is an airline that is supposed to represent a developed country. This cancels out anything you feel is a plus about the airline. This needs to be sorted out."
Plussat: "They boarded on time, took off on time, and the service was friendly."

Miinukset: "The boarding was chaotic. The space used at the gate could not cater for the number of passengers and there was no way anyone with any priority boarding status could make it to the counter. This is not new and has been a recurring problem with this flight and turkish airline does not seem to care enough to handle."

Miinukset: "Quality of service and quality of plane. Seems most of the flight attendants could care less about the flight passengers."

Miinukset: "Staff at Business Class checkin walking off the desk when we tried to check in. The on-line check failed and that was the only reason to go to the counter, but, alas, it then took an hour to get things sorted because the single staff person just walked off because no one was there to relieve her."

I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"

Miinukset: "The food is a total zero. Food is presented to human being like begged on the street . Pasta with just tomatoes sauce ? No meat , chicken or fish absolutely empty . The chicken meal had like 2 spoons of riice thrown in . Food was very unappealing . For a flight of about 7hrs it could have been better. My flight from U S to Istanbul was perfect . Meals , service ,bathrooms all good . Please they need to improve on the African route or stay off the route ."

One cannot change my arrival from Sunday night to Monday night. Called Customer Service 20+ times to have it fixed. They are all outsourced incompetent and unprepared. Good planes overall, but horrible customer service. I will never fly Turkish again. I prefer to pay more and have decent customer service and no flights cancellations in the middle of my vacation."

Plussat: "Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food was rather impressive for a plane flight. I liked the number of selections that were available per the movies and media based entertainment on the flights."
Miinukset: "A few of the stewards and stewardesses had a bad attitude; as if they had brought on board some format of negativity. I understand the flights can be long, but there's no need for bad behavior towards customers."
Miinukset: "the connection in Istanbul was short (around one hour), which created the following problem: the 1st flight had to wait 20-30 minutes for the landing permission, and this made us running and rushing to the connected flight. The landing permission was delayed not because of the weather conditions, but because of a long line of aircrafts that came to Ataturk airport at the same time. Therefore, it is kind of Turkish Airlines blame."

Miinukset: "I am fairly tall and lanky, so the configuration of the seats makes it very difficult to get comfortable. In this specific case, the person in front of me kept trying to recline their chair despite the chair pressing painfully into my knees."
Plussat: "Turkish delights on-board and relatively pleasant crew."

Plussat: "The food was great, had a chance to sample some Turkish cuisine. Way better food than any meal you would get from an American-based airline. Entertainment was excellent, great variety of TV shows and movies. The flight attendants were attentive and helpful. The Batman v. Superman theme was a nice touch. Decent leg room in economy class."
We didn’t get to go directly to Munich because our first flight was operated by Air Canada and arrived late. We were rebooked through London. Lufthansa was unsympathetic and not helpful. Since I paid for the tickets that Lufthansa sold us we had a contract and Lufthansa did not hold up their part.
One of the staff members was extremely rude and raised her voice at me - this upset me greatly.
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

I aldo found ground staff at the customer service desk very unsympathetic and unhelpful when I asked for assistance on grounds of ill health. They were quite condescending ."

Miinukset: "To whom it may concern I had booked flight from Casablanca to Chicago via Frankfurt , on May 6th , by Lufthansa, two hours before the flight , at the counter in CMN , they notified me , that the flight , is over booked , and I can’t catch this flight , and they offered me different difficult options, , till the flight boarded , they offered me one of the most inconvenient flights , and reward me some amount , in this case : I missed my flight which accordingly , lose my appointment , and lose my business. I frustrated with this decision at late hours . I asked full consideration of all the difficulty situation and the turbles they put me ."

Miinukset: "My granddaughter of 3 years had painful ear block and the crew was so unfriendly about it unlike other airlines that try to offer remedies. Both legs of the journey the crew was lousy on this. So child unfriendly"

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Miinukset: "Expect to pay $85 euro for a carry on bag that they will ask you to check in. This is our returning trip with the same set of bags for the round trip to Paris. At the gate we were asked to check in the other carry on bag which we bought right before the trip making sure it fit the new small size req. Still that was put into check-in. We ended up with no carry on luggages with us boarded. Only to find quite a lot of bags that are much bigger than ours were allowed to be in the cabin."
Plussat: "The planes of United Express are shabby. The service is unreliable. This was the last flight to Cedar Rapids from Chicago on the 14th. It left on time, which I regard as a miracle. That flight is chronically late or canceled. So I felt very lucky, especially after a long flight from Israel. The crew was nice however."
Miinukset: "I have already indicate that in part. The planes are shabby and the seats are fairly uncomfortable. The good thing about this particular flight is that the person at the gate who organized the boarding, changed my seat to one where there was no one else sitting next to me."

Miinukset: "I paid for a reserved window seat so I could sleep. The passenger next to me was such a large man his arms and shoulder came way over into my seat space and I had to sit in an awkward and very uncomfortable position twisting my back for the entire flight. I cannot believe I paid extra to be in this position. My back still hurts from being in that position for 9 hours. I was miserable the entire way. And I paid extra for this discomfort. The big guy was plenty comfortable as he took up my seat space and slept well. Not happy at all with the flight and how Lufthansa crams people into seats."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."

Miinukset: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."
Miinukset: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."
Plussat: "Left ontime and service was excellent."
Plussat: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Miinukset: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."
Plussat: "Overall everything was ok."
Miinukset: "Not that I cared at the time but having been asked for a rating on “entertainment” - there was none. Cheap and cheerful really. No extras over the likes of RyanAir."

I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
Miinukset: "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"
Plussat: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Miinukset: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."
Plussat: "KLM fed a sandwich even though the flight was only 2 hours. The crew was pleasant. Getting through the Amsterdam airport to catch a connecting flight with only an hour to do so was no big deal. Airport staff was pleasant and helpful."
Plussat: "Nice, turbulent-free flight. Food was good, service with a smile. Leg space was OK because Boeing 777s are usually better at this."

Miinukset: "Boarding was a disaster as my companion was selected for random search which held us up as there was no urgency to process us. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us.The food was also mediocre."
Miinukset: "There was no amenities pack given in Premium economy. The food was ok. It would have been nice to have been offered another bread roll. Seat comfort was fine, but I kept getting hit by the separating curtain as the flight attendants went back and forth from economy."
Miinukset: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."

Miinukset: "I flew out on KLM on what felt like a new plane. Amazing service, seat, temperature, entertainment and food. In stark comparison Air France’s plane was old, too hot, poor entertainment choices and system and average food which for the French was surprising!"
Miinukset: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."
Plussat: "SFO - CDG (Air France) was a great journey in all respects. But the one major reason for that was, the middle seat was empty. I was so fresh after the journey, would definitely recommend this flight to anyone."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed by atleast 45 mins and therefore had to rush at the CDG airport to catch the next flight."
Plussat: "Flight on time"
Miinukset: "The usual Air France flights to Rome, that I have been flying for years, are now operated by Joon. For a couple months nothing changed, except the way the crew dressed. But now Joon is showing its true nature as a LOW COST airline.Seats cramped. Snacks and apple juice are now available for purchase only."
Plussat: "Everything except the seat. Service ("would you care for a drink/beverage?") could be better."
Miinukset: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Miinukset: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."
Plussat: "The cabin crew were excellent"
Miinukset: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"
Plussat: "Plus seat was good. On board crew was nice."
Miinukset: "Another Air France company, with their motto: We Don't Care. Ground staff was rude, no good food onboard and have to pay for it. Entertainment is your device, but you can't download the app to use it."

Miinukset: "Disorganized uninformed staff. One says I have to have an additional "random" security check after going through the same thing in security. Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Plussat: "I had a choice of movies, games and music that was very appealing. My concerns about not receiving the correct meal was handled professionally and promptly during the flight. I was surprised they couldn't discover I only ordered it for the second leg of my flight."
Miinukset: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."

Plussat: "Crew was attentive, punctual, and third meal on a 14 hour flight is right."
Miinukset: "Movies are badly dated, and a bit limited in choice. System was a bit difficult to navigate, and slow to respond."
Plussat: "I didn't fly throw the Kenyan airlines because they kept delaying my flight time and they want to spend 24 hours at the airport because of my wife is passports is not american passport, so I had to change the flight , the worst experience ever in my flight life"
Plussat: "By far the best food I have ever had in a flight. And I am still trying to figure out how we landed without and no one noticed. Every one on the flight were amazed that we didn’t feel a thing upon landing. The crew were so friendly and accommodating, it was unreal."

Plussat: "The pilot on the airlines updated us that we were running 15 minutes late and would try to make up some time in the air. He also apologized on behalf of the crew for our delay and communicated that it was because the aircraft arrived late from the previous flight. I appreciated that clarification."
Miinukset: "Our flight was delayed by 3:15 hours, and our gate wasn't listed on the monitors. Our gate location changed twice, and the only way I found out was by asking the "Kenya Airways Guest Services desk" twice. The overhead announcement of the gate change happened 15 minutes after the boarding time listed"

Miinukset: "Kenya changed my flight to two hours later 18 hours before I was to leave. Making me have a 10 minute connection. Then after an hour in a airline office they promised to hold my connection. When my flight landed on time, they did not hold my connection. So they changed my flight and didn’t follow through on the fix. We would now miss wedding activities and business meetings. Then my partner got sick and they refused to taxi us to hotel for the night but take a bus that leaves every three hours. Her sickness got worse and there was a Kenyan airlines doctor who evaluated her at the airport after waiting 40 minutes laying at check in with her crying due to pain. We had a medical release from the doctor saying she needed extra space to lay down but the check in manager refused to make room for her saying the flight is full and she would not upgrade her to accommodate the medical release because we had an economy ticket. My partner looked so bad that the flight crew considered kicking us off but eventually made the space for her to lay down and were helpful on the flight. This is this disgraceful and the worst experience I’ve had with any company."
Miinukset: "The flight to Nairobi was so late that I missed my connection and have to wait about 10 hours for the next flight out."
Plussat: "The flight itself was fine, no issues with that."
Miinukset: "Had a long layover in Addis, schedule should be better. But with more than 6 hr layover, they still lost my bag. No one contacted me when it made it to the airport. The site did not reflect it either. I left work on the second day to go check and there it was, under a few other bags, which gave the impression it had been there waiting a day already. Going to try and avoid Kenya airways in the future if possible."

Plussat: "The baggage handler for Kenya Airways, Derrick, in Johannesbury was very helpful checking on my delayed luggage. The flights and flight attendants were very good."
Miinukset: "Late departures, unscheduled stop for crew, and baggage not making new flights made me miss two transfer flights. Closed sales kiosk in Johannesburg unable to get an hotel and meal vouchers. Sales lady was rude the next day. Arrived Cape Town over 24 hours late."

Miinukset: "They lost one piece of baggage. The check-in crew said we were required to have our vaccination cards although nobody asked for them. Then we waited an hour pulling off one piece of baggage and then they didn't load it on our flight."

Miinukset: "Our flight was delayed by 90 minutes so that passengers on a late flight could join us. Once arriving at Lagos, our luggage was nowhere to be found. The airline failed to follow up regarding when the luggage arrived at Lagos. Horrible experience. Fly with Kenya Airways at your own peril."

And then next morning, there was no clear announcement regarding a rescheduled flight; the flight was delayed AGAIN. This trip caused so much problem in my work."
