Miinukset: "The difference here is that in a 9 hour flight you want to keep hydrated. Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?"

Miinukset: "The flight was transferred to a smaller plane, either because there were few passengers (the first story we heard) or because of mechanical problems on the original craft (the second story). Business class was oversold as a result, and boarding was delayed for an hour while they waited for enough BC passengers to accept 800 euros for the downgrade to economy plus. They repeatedly threatened to cancel the flight rather than raise the offer. Eventually enough knuckled under and we were allowed to leave. Some no doubt missed connections because of this petty brinkmanship. The funny coda is that because the plane was so undersold, anyone in economy that wanted their own row could have one, while economy plus was packed with the embittered and downgraded."
Miinukset: "Bought these tickets almost a year in advance. Never given the option to select seats. Both my husband and I were stuck in the middle seats or not together on each leg of our flight. Food was horrible on every leg. Husbands tv did not work. I am petite and seats too small even for me. never again will o give this airline my money."
Plussat: "I always try to fly with Lufthansa when I do go to Germany to visit my family. At times they might be more expensive then others but you don't pay extra for everything. Also I got a great price at Kayak. The service was excellent and I do love the fact that Lufthansa is now flying directly from Denver to Munich makes it so much easier."

Miinukset: "The seats in Economy were the most uncomfortable I have ever sat in for such a long time nine and a half hours. All six of us found them to be uncomfortable. No seat bottom cushioning. I had a back pain. Boarding started with the First Class and Business Class first. It took an additional 20 minutes for Economy class to start boarding. The line was very, very long and interfered with other travelers in the airport terminal. "boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped" When we arrived in Denver, only five Custom Agents were on duty to process our arrival passports, although there are 14 control stations at Denver. It appeared as though the Custom Agents were not aware of the arrival of the Lufthansa 747 nor the one that followed. All other Custom in Europe were much more efficient and move people through quickly. What a bad first impress made by the USA Customs people."
Miinukset: "The monitor at my seat wouldn't load and when rebooted displayed only 9 movie choices and very limited audio book selections."
Plussat: "Flight attendants were always there when you needed them and were super nice. The plane was very clean and orderly and the crew just made it a really great flight."
Miinukset: "I really have no complaints at all. It was a super great flight and I will choose Lufthansa whenever possible when I fly in the future!"

Miinukset: "Seated near and next to me were about 9 German men who had begun their vacation to Colorado in the airport bar prior to the flight. I was seated in a middle seat "J" (I believe) in row 37 or 39. The men were receiving from the stewardesses repeatedly two glasses at a time and kept going back to the galley and getting two glasses of wine at a time Although they were loud, congregating in the aisle around rows 37 and 39 they were not limited in what they could drink. The two on either side of me were disrespectful of my personal space and were very inappropriate. I got up and went to the galley behind my seat to ask the stewardesses to get me another seat. During this time the guys kept coming back to this galley for more wine still taking two at a time. The stewardesses explained that the plane was full. Others complained also. I then asked the stewardesses if since they were over serving these guys, would they trade one of their jump seats with me. At this point they cut the guys off and got the pursar. She talked to them and ignored my personal safety concerns and said no one gets on a plane drunk (yeah, right) and that they would now behave and were asleep. That's why they are still talking at the top of their lungs and standing in the aisle? I asked. I wish I had video recorded this, I did not as others with kids in the aisles across from me did. I hope their videos go viral Not impressed with Lufthansa"

Plussat: "Almost nothing was enjoyable about the overseas Lufthansa flights I took. This particular flight, however, did not make me sick like the initial Lufthansa flight to Europe. I also appreciated that the crew asked the passengers in front of me to put their seats up during meals."
Miinukset: "The overseas Lufthansa flights have the least space of all the flights and trains I took throughout my trip, including other Lufthansa flights within Europe. The bathrooms were more cramped and fewer in number for an overbooked flight, boarding was disorganized and delayed, the passengers in front of me put their seats all the way back for most of the flight, and seriously, just a few more inches of space would make these long flights 104% better. I think everyone would be happier to fly on less awful planes, including the poor crew who has to deal with miserable passengers."
Plussat: "Without the help of the attendants at the gate waiting to take us to the connecting flight, we would not have made it! So grateful for their help! Food was very good for airplane food and movie choices were excellent."

Purchasing add-one was complicated. Pre-paid for second checked bag the day before, was forced to pay again—a higher amount—because they “couldn’t find” record of my payment, despite me having received 2 confirmation emails (including a receipt) for the baggage. Showed them the emails and the recipes, and even the record of the transaction through the banking app on my phone, and was still forced to pay twice. Unacceptable.
NEVER book through Kayak. First they booked us on a flight that didn’t exist and after they fixed the problem, we had to leave a day later then expected. Then because we were booked under SAS, but outsourced to a United flight for our first connection (because SAS doesn’t fly to Cincinnati), we were told our bag couldn’t be routed to our final destination so when we arrived in Newark, we’d have to get our bag from baggage claim, re-check it, and get our new tickets for the rest of our flight. Of course this caused us to miss the connecting flight to Copenhagen, and once rebooked, we lost another 2 days of our trip and added an additional country/ stop to the journey. And finally on our flight from Belgium to Venice, my baggage was lost, causing us to cancel the remaining few days of our trip (we were supposed to be hiking and all of our gear was lost in that bag). Since we booked under Kayak, we were punted around from Kayak to SAS to United customer service reps, everyone passing the blame off on the next company. Kayak claims no responsibility and the airlines refer you back to Kayak. Probably would have had as much satisfaction by setting a pile of $5,000 on fire. What a honeymoon.
My flight was delayed. They rebooked my ticket by flying to Bergen to Oslo, Oslo to Copenhagen then Copenhagen to SFO. Once I got to Oslo, the flight was delayed again going to Copenhagen. By the time, I got to Copenhagen, my flight to SFO was already boarding. I had to run one mile from terminal A to terminal E and was stuck in customs because of the long line. The good thing is that half of the passenger for the SFO flight were also stuck in the custom line with me so the plane had to wait for all of us.
Food was terrible and you only eat because you are hungry. Only water given between meals. Should have used other airlines for this long haul flight. Will not repeat.

Miinukset: "Its simple. Turns out i had to pay 360 dollars for my baggages which was hever specified in the time i was purchasing tickets cause they said im flying without and i can come back with. Who is flying without baggage intercontinental for 1 month? And 3 baggages didnt arrived. Thanks"
Miinukset: "On the Copenhagen-Milan leg, since I was in the cheap seats, even water cost; $3 for a bottle of water. They couldn't even offer a cup of water for free? False economy. And I was told that I had to pay for my luggage at the airport, then it was $120 for 1 bag. Ridiculous!"

Miinukset: "My husband was unable to check in on line. SAS when contacted by phone which was difficult to do because it is hard to locate their number had no explanation other than maybe due to security. We missed a tour due to the time spent (unsuccessfully) trying to solve this problem."
Plussat: "The seats were very comfortable -- the plane wasn't very full, so there was room to spread out for some folks. As a vegetarian, the lunch meal was EXCELLENT, thank you. There was a second snack given just before landing that was basically roasted peppers on bread that was not good -- so you know, many vegetarians actually have sensitivity against peppers, so perhaps another vegetable or option would be better there. Crew was very affable and helpful."
Miinukset: "See point before re: second snack. Our flight was delayed for two hours, presumably due to snow in Oslo. The boarding area was disorganized -- something I remember from flying through Norway a few years ago as well. I also didn't quite understand why I received priority boarding, as a United gold member on my outbound fight, but not on my return. So the inconsistency was a bit confusing/frustrating. But the flight overall was smooth, and the accommodations quite good."

Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

She pressed the button to ask for a moist towel but was ignored after much waiting; she pressed again, and more waiting came with no response. She got yelled at when she went to ask politely. I understand the crew can get busy but where is compassion for a customer in need?"

Miinukset: "They charged me 60 pounds to check my bag after I checked my bag in online. When I got to the airport, they told me I had a bag on my connecting flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki but not on my flight to Copenhagen from LHR. At the airport I was charged 60 pounds for a small bag. Crazy! Completely unreasonable. Never flying SAS again if I can avoid it."

Miinukset: "We arrived at Berlin-Tegel two hours before our flight, as is generally recommended for air travel... to find that there was no one working to check us in to our flight, and no option for automated boarding passes. We had to wait for a half an hour before a desk attendant for SAS showed up to begin checking people in specifically for our flight. We were told by floor staff that desk staff usually don't even arrive until two hours before the flight they are supposed to check in. Then when they arrived we were told we had been waiting in the wrong line (priority) and had to get at the back of the regular line. There were no signs, so we had no way of knowing this. Then someone else told us one line was for if you already had your boarding pass, the other was for if you didn't: luckily we had chosen the right one, but a bunch of other people had to move again. One passenger mentioned to staff that it would really help if there were signs (there were monitors, but they were blank) but she was ignored. The line was massive and there was only one desk agent, so it took a long time. Anyway by the time we finally got through security we only had 20 minutes before boarding. I don't even know how everyone else behind us made it onto the flight, or if they did. At our gate there were literally ten seats in the waiting area. So of course everyone waiting for our flight was clustered around, standing awkwardly, and couldn't help blocking all the walkways. Then when we thought we were finally boarding the plane we just got onto a shuttle bus to go all the way across the airport to where our plane was waiting. Overall, pretty ridiculous. I have not flown out of Tegel before so I'm not sure how much of this fiasco was the airline's fault and how much was due to the airport itself. But we were very frustrated by the time we finally took off, and will probably avoid both (Tegel and SAS) in the future if at all possible."
Plussat: "The automated kiosks made it ridiculously easy. Flying out of LAX can be a pain, but that went by so smoothly. I'm cheap and have become accustomed to Spirit airlines. So when I received free (decent) meals a complimentary bottle of water and a plethora of inflight entertainment."

Wasn't sure we would make flight until new boarding pass was issued by gate agent. And that boarding pass bounced when trying to board plane. New boarding pass had to be issued with another seat assignment. SAS is on my no fly list."

The selection of movies was adequate but smaller than I'm used to. There wasn't much in the way of music to choose from. Only one choice for jazz and classical."

Matkustamohenkilökunnan toiminta ja käytös ala-arvoista
Oli kylmä. Aika moni aivasteli tai niiskutti 12 tunnin lennon päättyessä.
Ihan hyvin toimi kaikki, paitsi jalkatilaa oli melko vähän pitkälle pohjoismaalaiselle.
Henkilökunta oli ihan ystävällistä. Koneeseennousu oli hidas. Tarjottavat ovat nolla-arvoisia, vain lasi vettä ilmaiseksi, ei ole toimiva konsepti ollenkaan.
Ostettiin lentolippu yhdessä, ei siis pitänyt olla epäselvää, että ollaan pariskunta. Meidät kuitenkin sijoitettiin istumaan koneessa kauas toisistamme. Pärjäämme toki itsenäisesti, mutta moinen homma vaikuttaa lähinnä kiusanteolta. Eikä suinkaan asiakaspalvelulta. Terveiset siis Finnairille tai muille, jotka olivat järkkäilleet istumapaikat.

Vähän myöhässä muuten kaikki sujui loistavasti
Kone oli kolme tuntia myöhässä.... Meitä pompoteltiin portilta toiselle. Ilmastointi oli olematon.
Finnair on lentoyhtiönä nykyään aivan perseestä! Siirtävät esim lentoja 2 päivällä eteenpäin eivätkä kerro matkustajille edes syytä! Laitoin kyselyä asiakaspalveluun jo maaliskuussa 2022 ja lentomme oli 27.5 ja en ole vieläkään saanut vastausta miksi lentoa siirrettiin.
Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.
Tämä nykyajan "turvatarkastusteatteri" on aivan absurdia matkustajien kiusaamista. EI voi mitenkään olla perusteltua että joutuu jonottamaan yli 2 tuntia sitä että käsimatkatavarat tutkitaan. Matkustajista 99.99999% on rehellisiä asiallisia ihmisiä eikä heidän kiusaamisensa moisella teatterilla edistä mitenkään lentoturvallisuutta. Parannusehdotus turvallisuuspäällikölle potkut tehtäviensä hoidon täydellisestä epäonnistumisesta. Esim lennollani 2 oli vain läpivalaisulaitetta käytössä ja jonossa tuhansia ihmisiä. Ilman lennon myöhästymistä olisimme missanneet lentomme tämän pelleilyn johdosta! Kyllä moiset tarkastukset pitää pystyä järjestämään siten ettei matkustajan tarvitse seisoskella jonossa tuntikausia. ( tämä jonottaminen tarkoittaa myös sitä ettei kukaan voinut käyttää kentän palveluita, eli myös heidän business kärsii tästä typeryydestä)
Lento oli tunnin myöhässä.
Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.
Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.
Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.
Nopeaa toimintaa, kaikki sujui hyvin.
Matkatavaratietomme puuttuivat järjestelmästä. Turhaa vaivaa moisesta asiasta. Valitin suoraan Finnairille.
Kaikki toimii suunnitellusti, ruokaa tai viihettä en käyttänyt.
Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!
Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.
Tässä odottelen laukkua vieläkin niin missähän olis parannettavaa!

Tällä lennolle kaikki sujui hienosti. Henkilökunta toimi ammattitaitoisesti ja lentäjät olivat huippu ammattilaisia, nousut ja laskut olivat hallittua. Kiitos Finnair.
Minulla oli aivan kova nälkä ja halusin ostaa lentokoneessa leivän mutta valitettavasti minä olen nuori enkä omista luottokorttia ja en saanut koneesta mitään koska normaali electron maksu kortti ei kelvannut eikä käteinen kelvannut..

The cabin crew was friendly. But boarding takes forever and the flight gad long delays on both inbound and outbound flight
Air France service was superb. The airline did their best to expedite the boarding process even with the constant changes of Covid19 guidelines

Miinukset: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Normally, that would be okay except one of the two standard meal choices was also vegetarian and seemed much better. Since I had selected lacto-ovo vegetarian, it seems I was not allowed to select the standard vegetarian option. Hard not to have cheese on an Air France flight - just saying :-)"

The kid in front of me wouldn’t sit still and the kid next to me didn’t speak a lick of English so couldn’t understand me when I asked if I could squeeze by him to get to the restroom. Needed more legroom."

Miinukset: "Boarding was walk-to-outside-stairs, more an airport versus airline thing, in truth the fresh air was nice, just glad it wasn't pouring rain. Seat comfort was barely okay, the 757 seats were basically in contact with my knees, tough for such a long flight. Their 767's are much better. Didn't like paying 60 GBP (pounds, about $75) for 3 sandwich lunches with 3 alcoholic drinks, IcelandAir could do better."
Plussat: "The plane and it’s crew were fantastic! The crew was totally customer oriented and provided great service for the entire flight."
Miinukset: "It does no good to upgrade to Saga Class when you consider loading at Keflavik. A mob is herded on to a crowded bus and you wait at plane side with little room to move around. There is no priority boarding and the entire procedure might be acceptable in the Third World but certainly not in a country that has so much going for it."

Plussat: "You’re going for no frills. Competitive pricing maybe but consider baggage situation first. We went transatlantic and paid for a bag using economy light fare to make it work. Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal. Cabin is ok."
Miinukset: "Witnessed many customers checking in who thought a bag was included. Entertainment is ok but screens have limited kid activities. Each leg of my flight took off 15-20 min late easily. Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain."

Plussat: "The crew was efficient and did a good job. The captain kept us informed. Crew did come through with drinks and water a couple times. Given a bottle of water when we boarded. Check -in and baggage drop automated and very efficient."
Miinukset: "Disabled passengers given preference for boarding, but then elderly passengers who could barely walk were made to stand for 20 minutes even though the bus to the plane was waiting just outside the door to take us to the plane. We were made to wait 2+ hours after we boarded in order to take passengers that were supposed to be on a flight to Seattle with us to Denver because their plane was taken out of service, so our 7 hour flight kept us on the plane for 9 hrs., and people missed their connecting flights. No snacks at all except for the overpriced ones you have to pay for."

Miinukset: "My spouse got bumped from an aisle to a middle seat with cold nonchalance. No excuses, no compromises, just plain rudeness from the boarding crew member in Reykjavik. Seems like choosing seats early does not get you said seats with Icelandair. Given the fact that the boarding process was an absolute mess I found it difficult to remain patient. There was no organized line, and only one available boarding agent. Recipe for disaster if you ask me but hey, what do I know. Several agents were present for decorative purposes (?) and telling people that the line was a mess. It is the airline’s duty to organize the boarding process, not the passengers’. Not being served dinner on a 7h+ flight is unacceptable. Food available for purchase was very disappointing in both quality and service. Blankets were not available on this flight while they were on the outbound flight."

Miinukset: "Maybe this is the new trend, but for the first time on long-haul flights (Denver to Iceland and back), there was no meal. Onboard meal selections available for purchase were very limited, and some choices weren't stocked/available. This made it difficult to feed my family of four while traveling. My seat didn't lean back, and my head rest also didn't work to bend up on the sides like the other seats. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper half way through the flight and everyone was unsuccessfully trying to flush hand towels."

Miinukset: "My flight was delayed an hour and a half with no explanation so I almost missed my connecting flight even after sprinting through the airport. I called for a reason why it was so delayed and the customer service rep had a poor attitude and offered little help."
Miinukset: "Food offerings for 7.5 hour flight very limited, and not complimentary. This was not communicated when I booked the flight (would have considered using a different airline). Entertainment options were limited compared to other airlines' long-distance offerings. Only two beverage service in 8 hours, no complimentary snacks, and each time I wasn't given the entire can of soda, just poured a small glass. Pretty skimpy. My family members who used different airlines got a much more for their money, with similar ticket price. Flight took off late and we did not make up time in the air so we arrived an hour late."

I was going to say the movies where good but I forgot my headphones for the trip back and couldn't enjoy the options without paying for phones.... couldn't even go by subtitles as only Iceland films have them,...... oh, I got one, the blankets were nice and real live pretty stewardesses..... I haven't seen that in real life ever."
Miinukset: "Too much to list and I don't want to invest that much energy into being negative. Broken bathroom so lines 7 to 8 deep all the time for the one. Bottom of the barrel no frills flight. Think of greyhound with wings. Small, crunched, tight, uncomfortable, hot and dry with little to no relief or aid from the airline itself. Crazy, haphazard boarding process. It's a shame really, I had heard such great things..... I have been led to believe through books and movies and hearsay that people have sex in airport bathrooms like they were hourly hotels. I found it difficult to do my duty in there solo, I just can't believe it is possible for two people to do anything meaningful or pleasurable in there. Please remedy this before I die."

Miinukset: "USB jack at my seat was broken; my neighbor let me use hers for a bit. Her headphone jack was broken, so I offered to let her use mine, but then she needed to use my TV, so that wasn't ideal either. Many errors using the entertainment system--very laggy and frequent "temporarily unavailable" messages. Also, we were about 40 minutes delayed due to a mechanical issue (discovered once we were all boarded, extending an already lengthy flight)."

Miinukset: "The boarding makes no sense. If you let people board from 2 ends of your plane, you should at least tell rows 1-20 to go to that door and 21- 35 go to the other. Since that's not done, mayhem ensues. The whole no free food thing is ridiculous but I will either fly a different airline (Lufthansa) or bring my own food. Also the entertainment is what you see on TV in the USA, there are no new movies AND the content is the same east and West bound."

Plussat: "I had 4 flights with Icelandair recently; this was my first experience with the airline. Flights left on time; one even landed an hour early! Planes were clean; crew was friendly; entertainment was excellent (bring your own ear/head phones)."

Miinukset: "There was no sense of urgency to get the plane in the air. Our connecting flight was late and we had to rush to the connection flight. When we got on board we then sat on the tarmac for an hour because the fuel truck ran out of gas on its way to fill our plane. The crew seemed to have never worked on an airplane before and the plane needed updates. Food or snacks should be provided on longer flights like other airlines."
Miinukset: "When we arrived in Reykjavik from Munich we had 45 min to make our next flight. We were able to make it to our gate in time but once we got to our gate it was a mad house. The airport is fairly small and Icelandair was trying to board 4 other flights to the states at the same time as ours. We had to push and shove to get to our gate to board. Not sure why they didn't spread out the gates of the boarding planes."
Miinukset: "Again, at the gate, there were only about 22 seats in the waiting area for multiple flights. It was a mess of people sitting on the floor and standing around. The flight was not called--the board just said "go to gate". How would one know that that meant to board the plane, unless you saw people boarding? I think that the sign should have said "now boarding". Before we arrived in Denver, the crew passed out US Customs forms. I told the flight attendant that Denver has electronic Customs and we didn't need forms. She said that we did. Guess what Icelandair, Denver DOES have electronic customs and that form was a waste of time and paper, since I didn't need to use it at all. Wouldn't you think that an airline that flies into Denver everyday would know that? Other airlines do. They need to get their act together and I don't plan on flying with them again."
Plussat: "The child-friendly service is nice as kids get a free meal. The food you can buy is pretty good."
Miinukset: "We were surprised at the lack of communication from the pilot/crew. Our flight was delayed for an hour and there was no announcement about why or what was going on. Usually when you are sitting on the runway for an hour not moving, you have much communication keeping you in the loop as to what is going on."
Plussat: "Icelandair does a good job or providing free entertainment on their flights."
Miinukset: "Though the free entertainment is welcome, it doesn't make up for the myriad of issues we had with Icelandair during our trip. First, both flights smelled like the bathroom toilet puck (the ones they put in urinals) was used to clean the airplane. Icelandair provides no food for free during international flights, which is an oddity (usually there's something during a six hour flight). I could maybe look past the smell and lack of food, but my wife and I were seated in different rows and sides of the airplane, even though we booked our flight together! Overall, I would recommend another airline. Lufthansa, KLM, or Condor if you're in Europe or traveling around that area. They all have small setbacks but are still far superior to Icelandair."
Plussat: "I think the planes are clean and a little nicer than what I've recently experienced on US carriers in the past few years. The airport in Iceland was terribly crowded without much seating and the food was terribly expensive. Loved the free entertainment-music and choice of movies. The crew was very professional and love their uniforms."
Miinukset: "The fact we got no food whatsoever unless we purchased it on a 7 hour flight. So glad we ate something at the airport before the flight as we were expecting something-even just a bag of peanuts. For comparison -on the Lufhansa flight from Frankfort to Brussels, which was a very short flight, they handed out snacks."
Plussat: "The aircraft, especially the restrooms, was very clean. The crew worked very hard to ensure our comfort. The seats were as comfortable as they ever get on a 757. R routing slips through the gift shop between arrival and departure is a good idea . Even those with a short connection get a chance to buy a puffin."
Miinukset: "The terminal at keflavik is under construction this makes arrivals and departures extremely chaotic both on the ramp and in the terminal. The arrangement of gates is so chaotic that it is often very difficult to get to your gate because of large number of passengers waiting in line at their gate."
Plussat: "The previous Icelandair flight from Paris to Reykiavik was late and arrived over an hour after the scheduled departure time for the Reykiavik to Denver segment. We were assured that the flight would wait for the late arrivals, and it did. We were, of course, greatly relieved. I can't help wondering, however, How could a scheduled flight be held up for this long and how would the passengers already on the plane feel."
Miinukset: "Only drinks like water, tea, coffee and juices are served free on Icelandair flights. There is a menu for sandwiches and snacks. But the selection is rather anemic for a 7 hour long flight."

Miinukset: "waiting areas in HAM as well as in Iceland were horrible. Not enough seating to accommodate passengers which had to wait for hours on both sides due to flight delays. Sitting on the floor is not 21st century. Transport to the planes was done by bus, standing, with additional waiting time inside the bus before boarding. Boarding the plane was done via stairways - no bridges available at both airports. Not good"
