Plussat: "The crew was amazing. Food was great. Clean bathrooms. Great entertainment."
Miinukset: "We had our passports and boarding passes checked five times in the course of 2 minutes by five different people one after the next. My cabin luggage was searched right before boarding. I appreciate the need for security, but that was excessive and unnecessary. In the peak of the Corona virus craze, the security made all passengers take off shoes and walk without any protection. This is not Qatar Airways doing - New York JFK security B S, but I am sure airways companies have some say to change it."

Miinukset: "No lounge in Philadelphia took my Priority Pass. On the flight, the woman in front of me threw her chair back without asking and almost had hot coffee all over me. When I asked her to put her chair up, she got mad. She went to staff to insist she could put her chair back. I showed them that I was indeed in a back brace for a health condition and that I needed opportunities to move and shift, cross legs to release tension, etc. Staff sided with the rude woman, who, given the chance to move to an equal seat on the opposite aisle where she could recline, refused to move. I was very frustrated and have never been treated with such discrimination regarding my health concerns."

Plussat: "This review is for return travel from ATL to MAA (Chennai, India) and back. Route: ATL-DOH: about 14.5 hrs; DOH-MAA: about 4.5 hrs; Likes: 1. Baggage check-in process was simple and easy. 2. Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."
Miinukset: "Dislikes: 1. Online check-in wasnt easy; towards the end of the process, there is an option to email the boarding pass but this never worked. Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

I asked the flight attendant to put my cabin luggage in the space above the seats, because I am old and could not do it myself, and he first frowned and asked why....ridiculous"

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Plussat: "All the stewards were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were very well serviced and so you forget that the plane was 100% full, despite long queues to the toilets. I would fly again with Qatar Air for sure."

Plussat: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Plussat: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Miinukset: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."

The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand"

Miinukset: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Miinukset: "Leaving late seemingly without reason from Paris - chaotic boarding line in Paris with difficult to hear PA. Seats were ok'ish but than again, it's a 45 minute flight. The sandwich was gross and I'm somewhat known as a person who eats everything!"

Plussat: "All crew I interacted with was great, friendly, and helpful."
Miinukset: "Flight was late. Boarding very slow. Entertainment was ok by today's standards. Each seat had a display, but movie selection was not great. For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good. I did not find the seats comfortable."

Plussat: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

Plussat: "Cabin Crew and food selections were top notch"
Miinukset: "Seat configuration as a first class ticket was awful. Same configuration as economy class but by leaving the middle seat empty constituted first class. I'm 6'-1" and missed the legroom...."

Plussat: "Our flight attendant and fnally making it home!"
Miinukset: "Disorganized uninformed staff. One says I have to have an additional "random" security check after going through the same thing in security. Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Plussat: "The food was great. Very filling and hot foods were hot and cooked thoroughly. For our 8 hour flight we were served 2 meals and snacks and plenty of hot drinks which was nice.The entertainment was great got to watch movies and play games and also learn language through games."
Miinukset: "It was very hot in there probably hotter than it should be. Not much air flow I was sweating the whole flight. Because of this I couldn't sleep it was kinda miserable not gonna lie."

Plussat: "Spacing was ok"
Miinukset: "Scents. Perfumes. Products that have scents that irritate airways. Not good for asthma and allergies."

Plussat: "The crew was friendly."
Miinukset: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

Miinukset: "For the continuation of this flight of course I was still in the same seat in the middle and I had signed up and reserved an aisle seat"

Plussat: "Left on time and had above average cabin service."

Plussat: "It was a small jet but the first class section was extremely nice."
Miinukset: "Small jets have limited overhead space and most roller bags have to be gate checked for pickup when you exit the plane. My roller bag is small to fit under a seat, and it fit in the overhead."

Miinukset: "The crew was so rude"

Miinukset: "In flight entertainment wouldn't work despite following the instructions, so I gave up after about 45 minutes."

Miinukset: "My flight was delayed boarding and.leaving the runway! There was very choppy communication as from the airlines as things changed. I arrived and hour late from an already late flight! The attitude of the attendants was not the best either. They seemed to be tired and it showed in their service."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed because of another flight before ours and there was poor communication."

Miinukset: "No wifi, drinks came in the last 5 minutes flight was 1.5 hours late"

Plussat: "The pilot made up for a lot of time. The flight was said to be 1 hr 40 minutes about but we touched down after about only 1 hour in the air. Deboarding was quick."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed three times. We eventually boarded and then spent another 30 minutes waiting to taxi. Another narrow plane with not much room."

Miinukset: "The seats were SO uncomfortable and my legs were cramped up into one position because there wasn't enough room for legs and knees."

Plussat: "Landed safely and on time. Crew was nice."
Miinukset: "Cramped. Older plane missing USB plugs. Entertainment requires an app. Should have been cheaper for what I got which was a regular ticket for a 5'8" 160lb person."

Miinukset: "The flight and the entire process with American was just fine. What bothered me most was the rude treatment from security staff in Philadelphia. Compared to security staff overseas, the U.S. rates the lowest of the 55+ countries I've visited. It does not reflect badly on American Airlines, but it does give travelers a bad lasting impression. As an American, I'm embarrassed by their behavior."

Miinukset: "the usual garbage AA flights on CRJ's with poor on-time performance and frequent maintenance issues..."

Miinukset: "One of my pieces of luggage was not on my flight. The gate agent was difficult to understand. It was her nasal accented English that was the problem."

Plussat: "It was great! I got an entire row to myself."

Miinukset: "Everything else. American cancelled my first flight from MSP to ORD. And when I got to Chicago, it cancelled my next flight to Nashville. The flight I managed to get on departed two hours late. There was no explanation for each of these cancellations/delays. There was virtually zero inclement weather anywhere, save for most of the country’s temperature being nearly equivalent to the surface of Neptune. And, the surly, clueless Chicago-based gate agent was the coupe de grace in my search for a reasonable explanation after which I waited impatiently for this episode to conclude. American get your act together."

Miinukset: "I was forced to check my carry on and pay for it. I was not charged on my way to lax or my trip to Hawaii. Sad. And person was rude"

Plussat: "The flight attendant was fantastic. Very friendly, very helpful, checking on all the passengers. He even loaned his phone charger to one passenger. It was a full flight and he was working hard, but had a smile on his face the entire time. Give him a raise!"
Miinukset: "the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

Plussat: "It was on time. Nashville airport is sparkling clean with very happy and warm staff throughout the facility. As opposed to Philthydelphia the city of Unbrotherly Love."

Miinukset: "We boarded an hour late and then sat in the runway for ever. Flight was scheduled to arrive in Nashville at 1137p we arrived at 148a! Ridiculous"

Plussat: "Extra room with empty seat"
Miinukset: "Seat didn't go back due to exit row"

Plussat: "All good"

Plussat: "Never boarded plane cause dates were wrong"
Miinukset: "Now me owning up to mistake costing me $500+ extra"

Miinukset: "The boarding was seemed unintelligent. Why would a passenger in a window seat have to wait until the other middle and aisle passengers board. I got on the plane and had to wait for the other two passengers get up and step into the aisle so I could take my window seat. I was in group 7 and apparently they were in a lower number group that was allowed to board before me."

Plussat: "Very quick connection"

Miinukset: "COULDN'T GET ON THE SECOND LEG BECAUSE DIDN'T MAKE THE FIRST LEG"

Plussat: "Overall friendliness of the crew"

Plussat: "Nice crew"
Miinukset: "No entertainment. Learn from TAM in Brazil and offer entertainment via smartphone / tablet. No food service."

Plussat: "Arrived on time, left on time."
Miinukset: "It was inconceivable to me that I could not get a seat assignment until I actually checked in at the gate. While AA offered the option of paying extra for additional legroom, if you declined the offer, you could not obtain a seat. I know that it is getting unusual to have any sort of enjoyable experience on an airline, but the lack of transparency ("group two" for boarding is actually the fifth group to enter the aircraft) is totally unnecessary."

Miinukset: "That i booked a flight that departed 6:20pm on Alaska Airlines and found out i was put on a red eye American Airlines flight that left at 11:50 pm. In addition did not reciveve any notification of the change. Had to leave the airport because i thought i was leaving at 6:20 pm :("

Miinukset: "Apparently Finnair leases a Hilly plane and crew for this flight right now, so it wasn't quite the same."

Plussat: "Everything was good"

Plussat: "It was a very quick flight! I got some great rest and went right into work, ready for the day."
Miinukset: "They checked my carry on, and it ran me a little late leaving from Nashville waiting at baggage claim."

Plussat: "BA system down. Najor delays and long lines. Flight good."

Plussat: "I liked the comfortable seats.. The crew working for American Airlines are polite and nice. From the very time to get the boarding passes and my luggage handling and all the hospitality, am really looking forward to fly more on American Airlines."
Miinukset: "There is not much to not like American Airlines as I don't have any bitter experiences till date and I don't wish to encounter too lol I would like more snacks beside Pretsels too and I wish to have a very good hot Fliter coffee or even green tea's during my flight ☺️"

Miinukset: "Seeing as this flight was cancelled and we had to wait as two elderly people until 3pm the next day to get another flight and American Airlines would not compensate in anyway. I would say that we will never fly American Airlines again nor will my family. This was not the only delay or cancellation because of American either. We spent 48 hours traveling because of delays and cancellations and still American would do nothing for us. I'm 66 and my husband is 72 (who also has had back surgery for five slipped discs) and we had to sleep on concrete floors and had very limited money to buy food. It was by far the worst experience of my life and I would encourage everyone to not travel with them."

Plussat: "Once we finally got on the flight it was great! The crew was Fabtatsic and gave tons of updates as they became available."
Miinukset: "The only bad thing I can say was the delay. Beyond their control but very frustrating."

Plussat: "The crew did a great job of keeping the passengers taken care of."
Miinukset: "Flight delays and almost missed the checkout of our rental car"

Miinukset: "Delays. Always with the delays. An hour to take off and 30 minutes to land? I changed my flight because my father is dying of cancer, you charge me 200 extra for this? These planes shouldn't be allowed to fly. There's efficiency and there's just plain uncomfortable. Too tight. Small seats."
