Miinukset: "The crew at check-in & at boarding checked me in to fly to Tel-Aviv (transiting at Istanbul) without any comment on visa or passport at Washington D.C. In Istanbul, I was not allowed to board on the flight to Tel-Aviv. I was not allowed to stay in Istanbul. Crew (Erin Uler) who stopped me from boarding the flight said he would help, but disappeared. Othes kept sending me back and forth between transfer desk and sales desk with inconsistent advice every time. I had no way out, so decided I will fly to the closest European country. This was after I had been back and forth for 7 hours. I had to pay full for flight to Greece. I asked to be sent back to D.C. they could not even work that out. I have a return ticket to fly back to Washington D.C. with Turkish Airline on 1 Jan and they said they will need to re-ticket my paid return flight as well. Turkish airline crew did not would not help me fix my return flight back to D.C. They have asked me to contact the agent ( Kayak). Now I am stuck in Athens, a country I have never visited nor planned to. My tours & accommodation, all paid for in Israel, I have lost. I had a tour fully paid in Israel. I have no ticket to return back to D.C. even though I paid for ticket with cancellation insurance when I bought the ticket. The advice between Turkish crew who checked my passport (official) while I was flying out of D.C. vs the Turkish crew who stopped me from boarding was inconsistent. If I had been stopped in D.C. I wouldn't have had to face the events that followed. Now I have lost my tours, hotel in Israel. I had to pay extra for flight to Athens and I am paying for hotel and sundry in Athens while waiting for flight out. Turkish crew at Istanbul were not only unhelpful but rude and inconsistent. While I was waiting for 8 hours for a firm information, shouting matches between Turkish crew and customers went on at least a dozen times. Inconsistent information from Turkish staff has led me to be currently stuck in Athens. I am waiting for a way back to D.C. There should be a rule that fines an airline if they board people without accurate visa papers and they fail to check it. There should also be a fine to the airline if they stop people from boarding at a transit airport leaving passanger stranded with nowhere to go or return. I ask this issue to be looked at, as I am currently stuck in Athens. I need a ticket to go back to D.C."

Miinukset: "Boarding a bus to be taken to the plane It’s probably not unusual in Turkey but that was a first for me In all fairness it was a high anxiety moment for me with all the unknowns I was facing but I appreciate Turkish Air nonetheless"

Plussat: "I had only 70 minutes transfer time and had to spend almost all of that time standing in line to go through security after just arriving from another flight!! I ran to the gate and was the last person through before it closed. I asked about my two bags and was told they were accounted for. Hardly believing it but glad to at least have made it I boarded. When I arrived in Zurich, sure enough my bags arrived too! Was very pleasantly surprised!"
Miinukset: "Though no fault of Turkish Airlines, having to go through security after just getting off one flight was stressful even if it might have been necessary. Almost missed my flight. The security area is not properly designed for accomodating many people at one time and the officials (actually two cleaning personnel) who did not speak anything but Turkish were manning the entrance. Even when I showed them my boarding pass they just rudely shooed me away!"

Plussat: "I like the fact that they were ready to inform the New York passengers of the boarding time at instanbul. I was able to go through the security faster than the other passengers."

Miinukset: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for nearly 2 hrs, that in itself is not an issues, traffic delays do happen. However, the fact that captain choose not to run air conditioning to save fuel and main cabin, even after numerous requests, was 95 degrees for 2 hrs combined with the fact that airline did not submitted travel information to US Border Protection that also added another 1.5 hrs to clear customs is totally unacceptable... Although THY has the most direct route to/from Moldova from Houston, in the future, I'll most likely will spend more money and more time just to avoid it..."

Plussat: "Very attentive flight attendants. Two meals served and liquid refreshments offerred multiple times. Entertainment options were great! And patient fellow passengers who listened to a kid scream for most of 9 hours."

Plussat: "We purchased seats with extra legroom and it was very, very much worth it. My husband is 6 foot four and he was able to stretch out his legs comfortably. Seats are not uncomfortable, which is different from some airlines we’ve been on, and we really like the adjustable headrest where the sides can be flipped up to keep your head from rolling around while snoozing. We like that the silverware is actually metal instead of plastic!"
Miinukset: "The screen that folded out of the armrest was so small that watching a movie on it gave us a headache. The furst meal/lunch was so-so. Personally I would prefer a mixed fresh salad with a little bit of ham or chicken on top instead of the attempt at a hot mushy entree. The second meal/dinner was Similar to a hot pocket. The bread and the filling was pretty tasteless. Why not just have a healthy fruit bowl? Would have liked to see some English language reading material in the seat back pocket – it appeared to be only German language. Alternatively, it would be great if the flight attendants could offer non-German language reading materials upon request."

Plussat: "Overall, a good flight, slightly earlier than schedule, well informed by the pilot"
Miinukset: "The food was not up to par for Lufthansa (plane food). The choice was barbecue chicken or vegetarian pizza. I asked for vegetarian pizza. Not sure what I had, as it did not taste like BBQ chicken, and it did not look like the food my neighbor had (which looked like 2 mini pizzas). I chose not to complain about my food. It appeared passengers were keeping the cabin crew very busy. By taste, I could not tell what it was and I could only eat half. Not usual for Lufthansa food."

Miinukset: "Seats were not too comfortable. For long flights like this one, they could really use a bit wider and softer seats."

Miinukset: "The tightness of the seat arrangement when the row ahead reclined is extremely awkward. We are not large people but getting over the aisle armrest was very difficult to maneuver to avoid injury (falling). The security in Munich was upsetting in that one man yelled at me , "Get it out! Get it out! Get it out! because I put my electronics in one of the bins before my husband. I was confused as to what I had supposedly done and I said, "This is my husband" (who was removing his shoes) and this man's reply was "I didn't know that". We were not trying to cause trouble and we cannot understand why he had to yell."

Plussat: "Excellent service as you would expect from Lufthansa. Seating comfortable as well."

Plussat: "We enjoyed everything about our Lufthansa experience. Crew and flight attendants were very kind and attentive throughout the entire flight. On both of our international flights my wife and I had 4 seats to ourselves, which allowed us to stretch out much more comfortably. Flights were on time, landings smooth, online entertainment worked great, food was delicious, and the service outstanding."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Miinukset: "Food. Very bad. Tasteless. And not much food provided. Emirates have more dishes and many servings. ENtertainment: Not many regiional movies. Overall movies are very few."

Miinukset: "I was ask to change seats twice so a family could sit together ( not a problem) but because of the change i was in row 41 and had no more selection on food (already by row 36 they only had pasta). Drinks were slow and we were almost done with lunch by the time the cart came."

Miinukset: "Flight from Munich to Charlotte: I do not fly that frequently (just only about 1 or 2 times per year - usually with Lufthansa) so I had no idea that as an Economy class passenger I cannot use the Business class bathroom. I admit my mistake for violating this etiquette. There was no line formed so I just used it, but as I was leaving the toilet a stewardess grabbed my arm and sternly made me aware of my trespassing. She was very professional and I believe it was not her intention; however, she made me feel very stupid for not realizing that the Business class toiled is for the Business class customers only. Don't get me wrong, if I paid premium for my fare I would probably expect less crowded toilets too. In my opinion, this unwritten rule should be made more explicit to the Economy class passengers, as nobody likes to feel embarrassed by mistakenly wandering into an exclusive club they don't belong to. I know there are separating curtains, but they were open. I saw a line forming in the Economy section so my next instinct was to go a different direction, which led me to the Business section. I really needed to use the bathroom, so I did not think of the proper etiquette at the moment."

Plussat: "my favorite airline"

Plussat: "Over the length of the 9.5 hour flight, my time in the Economy class was that the crew were professional, courteous and especially helpful. There is a magnitude of difference between the attitude and professionalism of this airline over any American airline I have flown. In the future, Lufthansa will be my first consideration."

Miinukset: "It was a bit hot in the salon. Food was average. Flight intendants were not very attentive. My neighbor was waiting for about 20 min to get someone picked up her empty glass. Entertainment: there was no Russian language."

Plussat: "This flight from Munich to Charlotte was operated by Lufthansa. To my surprise (and a little help from a friend) I was upgraded to business class. does not get much better than that !!"

Plussat: "Once we connected, with the help of our escort, the flight was wonderful. I had an aisle seat due to the coach section and the very small leg room, but service, professionalism, comfort (aisle seat!) was perfect."
Miinukset: "More leg room in coach. If you are tall at all, it is really uncomfortable. I am 5'8' and, on the out trip to Germany from Charlotte, I almost lost it with the lack of leg room and claustrophobia......."

Miinukset: "I fly Lufthansa several times each year. This flight was the worst I can recall. My husband and I purchased exit row seats for additional leg room only to discover that an additional row was added in front of us for people with babies. We were squished behind them with very little leg room. We were surrounded by several babies, all of them crying constantly; this was totally ignored by both the parents and the crew. I was ready to start crying loudly myself, wondering if anyone would pay attention to that. We ordered special meals online but were served regular ones. When I told the attendant that we should be getting special meals, he peevishly and defensively said "you should have told me". These meals are normally served without any special prompts, so I have no idea why he was so angry with me! The crew practically hid from all the crying babies and was avoiding our section of the plane for around six hours. No water served, no one checking on anything. Lastly, my suitcase was cracked and needs to be discarded. altogether: a horror."

Plussat: "Well organized and in time"

Plussat: "Loved the personal TV screen, meals, friendly service, competitive pricing, arriving even earlier than scheduled, on time departures."
Miinukset: "I wished the blankets were warmer. Maybe a fleece. I was cold part way through the flight, even with the blanket provided."

Plussat: "Again the friendly crew."
Miinukset: "The snack at dinner. A simple sandwich would be better instead of the heated pizza and large sandwich they did give."

Miinukset: "no order in boarding and no chairs in Panama airport. Had to stand for 2 hours before boarding."

Plussat: "Flight was only about 60% full. Wine was offered with each beverage pass....also cognac offered after dinner. Plane was newer,comfortable. Lots of legroom in our "more legroom" upgraded seat. Departed on time and arrived early."
Miinukset: "Goulash meal meat was gristle and inedible. Other food was O.K."

Plussat: "We try to fly Lufthansa when we go to Europe (2x a year). This trip we upgraded to more leg room in economy and what a difference! Everything else was the same, which has always been excellent. Munich Airport has great food and shopping. Lufthansa's service is truly impeccable, the airline staff were constantly walking up and down the aisles offering food and drink and comfort. Great end to a three week trip in Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and of course Germany!"

Plussat: "Everything on the plane seems clean and well maintained - nothing is broken, worn or soiled. Lufthansa spends a little more effort than other airlines to cut down on waste when it comes to their in-flight food service (real silverware and reuseable dishes). The Munich airport is by far more convenient than Frankfurt when making connections in Germany."
Miinukset: "I was a bit disappointed with the limited seat availability/choices. If you cannot check in online several hours ahead of the departure you are typically left with center/middle seats in the area of the plane."

Plussat: "Service, timeliness and new aircraft"
Miinukset: "Everything was excellent"

Plussat: "The efficiency and professionalism was impressive."
Miinukset: "The temperature on the flight was uncomfortanly warm. the Airbus planes do not have individual air jets at each seat which is a desirable feature. Therefore, the environment felt stuffy. It would also have been nice to have refills on coffe and hot tea, however, no one checked back with us after round one. The bathroom floor should also have been cleaned more frequently."

Plussat: "Getting off the plane but even that wasn’t fast enough"
Miinukset: "Extra legroom seats are no different than normal seats. No meals served - everything is cash only except drinks. Flight attendants were rude. Bathroom was leaking - the sink and toilet weren’t working and when I told the attendant she walked in flushed the toilet and walked out w/out addressing issu"

Miinukset: "My flight was delayed, I missed my connection flight and now they lost my luggage. Staff are very friendly, but they can't do much to help me. Icelandair is doing OK in handling the situation, but let's see...I am still in an uncertain situation"

Miinukset: "My first flight was so delayed that I missed my second and had to stay in Reykjavik overnight. I didn’t make it back to Denver when I was supposed to."

Miinukset: "Flying in general in uncomfortable. The is nothing complimentary from the airline expect a very small cup of fluid."

Miinukset: "one of the passenger's on our reservation was removed, flight changed to a different airline & unable to access reservation to review why passenger was removed. left stranded in Paris airport unless we paid $5200 for a new ticket. Also, airline tried to force us to pay for luggage twice. DISASTER"

Miinukset: "Bag drop off. I arrived 3 hours before the flight. Could not check in until a little over two hour before the flight. Two customers groups had never flown before and held-up the line for over 40 mins. The counter Agents had no idea there was a line of people wanting to drop off their bags."

Miinukset: "boarding was disorganized and late -- with little communication. They didn't even make a boarding announcement, so there was a lot of unnecessary lining up, waiting, and nervousness -- then they did not help people make their connections after they got in late, again, making much nervous jostling."

Miinukset: "The price to check a bag was super pricy. Additionally, the wifi availability was misleading."

Miinukset: "We flew out of Newark (EWR), and the flight gate was NOT posted on any of the flight departure boards, there was no Icelandair counter to ask for that information (staff had left, as we arrived there shortly after 1 hour prior to departure, so there was no longer even a sign saying Icelandair on it), there were no Icelandair staff or crew to ask, and each and every airport personnel we asked (such as visitor information and security) either did not know or gave us incorrect information. The gate information was not given on our boarding passes, and even Google did not know the gate number! Although we should have had plenty of time, we ended up having to cut through the security line to make it, and even then we came fairly close to missing the flight. I would be very reluctant to ever use Icelandair again, even though I did like the price for the cost of the flight and the flight itself was fine."

Miinukset: "Plane was at full capacity and at least an hour prior to landing flushing of toilets was no longer possible due to tanks being full. It was a 3 hour flight! Not acceptable!"

Plussat: "You’re going for no frills. Competitive pricing maybe but consider baggage situation first. We went transatlantic and paid for a bag using economy light fare to make it work. Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal. Cabin is ok."
Miinukset: "Witnessed many customers checking in who thought a bag was included. Entertainment is ok but screens have limited kid activities. Each leg of my flight took off 15-20 min late easily. Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain."

Miinukset: "We were placed on another flight for whatever reason and were not given seats together. Not too big of a deal, just would have been nice to sit together since we booked 6 months prior to the flight."

Very disappointed if i can help it i will not fly with them again. This is the 3 straight year i have so seems like we are being forced to go with them to get a decent flight price."

Miinukset: "This is a low cost airline, so don't expect much. Saga class which is sold as business is nowhere close to business class. The seats are the same as first class on domestic US airlines and recline only a little. The airport in Iceland is horrible, completely congested, expect long lines, no priority lanes, missing your flight and nobody cares. I will not be flying this airline again."

Miinukset: "There were complications during checkin that resulted in everyone waiting on line for three hours while the employees tried to figure it out. They couldn't and eventually hand wrote boarding passes. In my opinion - they waited too long to make the decision to do this (over two and 1/2 hours us waiting in line no movement). Because of this, our flight was delayed. We made our connecting flight but our luggage did not. We took Icelander partner Swissair to Amsterdam. We went to the Swissair lost luggage office and spoke with a gentleman who informed us that our luggage was still in Reykjavik and would be flown to Amsterdam the next day (this was Monday at noon). I told him that we were not going to be in Amsterdam, but we're driving that afternoon to Koblenz, and would be staying there until Friday. He assured me that they would fly our luggage to Frankfurt and deliver it to our apartment the next day. I gave him our information, and he gave me a baggage claim with the phone number to check on the status. He told me they would contact me by phone the next day for delivery and that we would have to be present to sign for the luggage. We did not use this as an opportunity to go on a shopping spree. Instead, we bought some essentials (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, underwear and a shirt) knowing that we had laundry facilities at our disposal. We did not receive our luggage on Tuesday. I called the number given to me Tuesday afternoon (after not hearing from the airline all day) and was told that my luggage had been shipped to Amsterdam....not Frankfurt. I explained again that we were not in Amsterdam and would not be back there until Friday. I was assured that they were putting the baggage on the next flight to Frankfurt via KLM airlines and we would have it the next day. On Wednesday afternoon, I again called the number after not hearing from them all day. I was informed now that our bags made it to Frankfurt airport but would not be delivered until the next day, Thursday. We had been wearing the same clothes since we left NY on Sunday. I asked to speak to the gentleman's manager. I wanted assurances that we would receive our luggage as no one, up to that point, from any airline (Icelandair or Swissair) had followed up with me. I was the one calling each day. He was very hostile and told us his manager was not there and there was no one else we could speak to. There was no other number we could call to discuss our claim. He got defensive and his answer was that the baggage was in KLM's hands and he could not answer for it anymore. Yet I wanted to know why I had not received an update each day, why after three days we did not have our luggage, and why none of them (Icelandair or Swissair) was making this a priority. Remember, our luggage was not lost at any time. They always knew where it was and they always knew where we were going to be. This representative hung up on me ."

Miinukset: "The boarding makes no sense. If you let people board from 2 ends of your plane, you should at least tell rows 1-20 to go to that door and 21- 35 go to the other. Since that's not done, mayhem ensues. The whole no free food thing is ridiculous but I will either fly a different airline (Lufthansa) or bring my own food. Also the entertainment is what you see on TV in the USA, there are no new movies AND the content is the same east and West bound."

Miinukset: "Crew is impolite.. seating is poor. Food is a joke. Late."

Miinukset: "The fact that I can’t purchase a drink is ridiculous! I am willing to pay $8 for a can of beer and still can’t buy one. I believe many companies are using the coronavirus excuse as cost saving measures."

Miinukset: "Everything could have been better. The terminal out of Charlotte looked like a bus terminal, unacceptable for AA since it is one of their hubs. I understand it was a busy holiday weekend, but the airline should have been better prepared for our arrival. While the pilot did an excellent job in getting us in NY on time after airport delays on departure, AA must have not had enough staff working when we arrived. Customers waited over 30 minutes for bags to arrive, which arrived at a different belt than what had been originally scheduled. There were no AA staff in sight when we arrived in NY either. I will do my best not to fly AA again."

My flight was due to leave at 630pm didn't leave until 1130pm. I called united airlines to try to get another flight but the agent said there were no other flights to Charlotte. I had to change terminals from B to E. while waiting there were many flight delayed by United Airlines. The pilot said that our flight was delayed due to crew issues/not enough leaving Mexico. We were also delayed from leaving IAH because we had to wait to board because there was not enough flight attendants. This trip was a inconvenience of my time. I should be compensated. This was ridiculous! I will never fly United Airlines again. #getittogether #hostageairlines"

Miinukset: "I did not like having to check my carry on after all. I was told the overheads were full so I could get it in Baggage after the trip. For health reasons I did not want the trip to baggage and I did not want to risk my bag being lost. I drive 3 hrs o the airport and I did not want to drive back or wait 3 days for a lost bag to be sent to me as I have before. The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."
