The flight was 5 hours late, made us miss our connector to Dallas. No more flights to Dallas until Friday. We were only offered the late flight to Istanbul, hotel overnight in Istanbul. A flight to Houston and we’re are stranded from there. Later, I found a flight to Newark, take a Connector Bus (my costs) to JFK, overnight layover 8 hours, and a flight to Dallas from there. I was refused to change to that flight unless I paid $300, my connector, and any hotel costs if I chose one. Having spent the night before in JFK, I absolutely would need the hotel, it is not safe.

Or if they just breeze into their private airport wings and planes. I doubt they take off shoes, belts, and such, or go through irradiated machines. But going through about 3 extra layers of security while transiting is a bit much. Not to mention the extra hours spent relinquishing and reclaiming laptops etc. Frankly, non of these acts makes anything safer. It is akin to the permanently parked police vehicle on the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC since 9-11. What is that supposed to deter?"

Frankfurt layover at the lounge was good. I would like to commend Tina, the hostess in business class on flight Frankfurt to Delhi. Her service was exceptional warm helpful without a fuss. The gentleman who came to serve me just left without completing the food service. He left without giving me my main course.

There was a 2hr delay to an 8:40 departure. SUPER irritating. Had chosen an earlier flight so that these kinds of things wouldn't happen. Breakfast was poor a croissant and a yogurt. Not enough for an adult, I've had better on other international flights.

This is absolutely ridiculous! There were no Lufthansa flights into Tucson so I had no choice but to go with another carrier! So after a long grueling 4.5 hr delay and 11+hr flight now I have to stay in a hotel because my flight out via Southwest was the last one out for the day and The only nonstop flight departs at 12:35 tomorrow. Thank goodness Southwest booked me on another flight at no charge! They take care of their customers. It was not their fault I missed the flight. It was dur to the "techincal difficulties" with Lufthansa. And every hotel within a 8 mile radius has been sold out. And at one point I booked online only to find out upon my arrival, after paying for taxi and havig him leave, thAt this hotel is sold out and should not have allowed me to book online. So after landing at 7:15 pm at LAX I am just now in bed at a hotel after searching and paying for cabs etc. And on my dime! Absolutely ridiculous !!"

When we got to our hotel, we had to pay $20 for the transfer to hotel even though he left. Now we have no toothbrush or any change of clothes & hopefully we will get our luggage tomorrow after 2pm"

Miinukset: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Waiting area at the gate had plenty of seating and the staff was professional and courteous. We had to gate check bags as the plane was a regional turboprop, but everything went very smoothly."

Miinukset: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"
Miinukset: "We paid for Business Class from JFK to TLV. The flight to Tel Aviv was in a small plane with 3 across seats that hardly reclined. We are most unhappy and will complain to American Express Platinum Card."

Miinukset: "Premium economy seats do not recline, only slouch. One of our 2 seats wouldn't slouch more than half way. The entertainment options are extremely sparse and the screens are 4:3 ratio, tiny, and of such poor quality that they look like laptop monitors from 1999."

Plussat: "The time of the flight was great as well as the arrival time and subsequent connections to Paris. Enjoyed the rather full line of in flight beverages!"
Miinukset: "Leaving late seemingly without reason from Paris - chaotic boarding line in Paris with difficult to hear PA. Seats were ok'ish but than again, it's a 45 minute flight. The sandwich was gross and I'm somewhat known as a person who eats everything!"

Miinukset: "Checking in was ridiculous. They're charging for literally EVERYTHING now. On economy class you have many options: - Normal (free!) "ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

Miinukset: "Not all of your staff are polite, I’m not sure if it is because we were in a country that does not accept or respect people of “colour” but I could see that there was definitely a heavy line of different treatment to other races - sadly from a very well known brand. I did feel the luggage prices were slightly tacky, and extra for on cabin prices. Also, cleanliness is clearly not a priority for all either."

Miinukset: "The seats are small and they don’t lay back even when I upgraded to priority. I had to ask for food and water and paid a lot. But mainly the flight was delayed over 2 hours before boarding and then another 45 min in the cramped plan:("
Plussat: "The crew were nice"
Miinukset: "Check in was a complete disaster. I only needed to check my suitcase as we had our boarding passes already. It was anarchy and we nearly missed our flight despite being there hours early purely because the check in procedure was so chaotic. Then to top it off, my bag was lost and I was given a stranger’s baggage tag. I don’t know how they will be able to trace my bag with this. It is currently missing in action. Great start to a long awaited holiday!"
Miinukset: "Received emails about baggage, the policy stated that any cabin baggage beyond 1 would be checked for FREE in the hold. My wife and I both arrived with a small carry-on bag and a backpack. Upon arrival to Lisbon the attendant told us we needed to pay40euro each for the extra bag because it was slightly bigger than the bag “tester” box. (It fit sideways but not long ways). We showed the email about the free checked bag and she said because it was too big we had to pay 40 euro each. After a while we agreed. She then told us just to go to the gate, it would be ok. At the gate we had the same conversation with a different attendendent, this time it was 50 euro a piece! She said there was nothing she could do and just like that we are out 100 Euro. Do not fly with these Crooks!"

Miinukset: "Checking in was torture. It was the airline version of "The Trial" with a Dutch Twist (no one in charge). Luckily (?) the plane turned out to be 45 minutes late, so the eternity it took to have the rookie who finally showed up to look blankly at her computer screen, apprently hoping it would receive Divine instructions on how to work her way through the ONE PERSON in line in front of us, in order to stamp our pre-printed boarding passes did not cause us to miss the last flight of the day from Amsterdam to Dublin. Now lets talk about the torture device that Ryanair uses as a passenger seat. . ."
Plussat: "Quick and easy boarding as Priority boarding paid for and much improved aircraft since last time I flew with them."
Miinukset: "Not a great choice of food for a 3hr plus flight but plenty of alcohol! :("
Plussat: "We managed to arrive."
Miinukset: "I disliked the lack of information about the delays, the poor facilities and extremely rude staff. It’s understandable that they’ve been working all day, but unfortunately this is the job they chose and I am paying for service of which I should be satisfied with."

Miinukset: "Our gate number was shown 10 minutes before the gate was supposed to close at 19.05. We were kept standing until 19.35 (when the flight was scheduled to depart) and then the door was opened, just for us to sit on the staircase waiting to be admitted into the plane for another 20 minutes. I understand delays and unforeseen events, but no rep had the courtesy of telling us why we had been kept waiting this way, on the contrary we were told to move further down the stairs so we can make more room, resulting in being crammed one next to each other. Eventually at around 8 pm we were finally allowed to get on the plane. Not a cool experience, especially when Luton is 2hrs away from London so the passengers had already spent at least 3-4 hours on the road to get to the airport."

Miinukset: "Flight was over an hour late and that was very inconvenient since people were waiting for me. Boarding was disorganized and practically a riot. Airport at Catania changed departure gate 3 times, causing great confusion."

Plussat: "Very badly handled delay .Letting people line up at the gate even though they knew the aircraft was still at least 40 minutes from arrival .No announcements letting anyone know what's going on .Then letting us board only to be stuck in a stair well with door locked for 10 minutes and then on the tarmac for 15 minutes while the aircraft was being prepared ,It also staring raining .this is not how to run a airline .Perhaps training is needed from the likes of AirAsia"
Plussat: "Flight time and price."
Miinukset: "Flight was late, charged 15 € to print the boarding pass, it felt like we waited in line after line. It's Ryanair, so we expected the rotten experience, but had the flight been on time, the timing would have been good and the base price was reasonable."

Plussat: "For the price of this ticket the service was really good there are improvements but for the price of the ticket I can't complain at anything"

Miinukset: "Takeoff was delayed by 1 hour due to what seemed like a totally preventable clerical error (in pairing a piece of checked luggage and a passenger). This delay reduced our transit options on arrival and also inconvenienced our host. The flight was overheated and uncomfortable. At the freight-level prices, I wasn't expecting food or entertainment, and I was aware the flight would be full, but I was expecting at the least a functional temperature control or effort to use it. Especially during the hour we idled on the tarmac prior to takeoff."
Miinukset: "Stop trying to sell me things every 10 minutes. I just want to get some sleep. Provide something for free, like peanuts or pretzels, as a nice gesture."

Miinukset: "No entertainment provided, boarding took quite a while and don't like the extra add-ons pre-flight. The flight started off quite cheap but with all the other add ons to make it an easier trip, it seemed unfair."
